  1. Nod it sucks, but its not any points or record on your license.
  2. Working 7a-11p so no go for me.
  3. I'd like to add (1) XL shirt onto my post! (#4) And hopefully get some stickers, or I'll self envolpe later for a white one. Thanks!
  4. Changing a string isn't hard and is relatively cheap. Just make sure they use a double press vs a single. The pins will need to be resighted when you get the new string also(and peep)?, but thats something a buyer should do. I'd say $150 ball park yeah. Decent starter bow for someone with shorter arms or a kid.
  5. 4! But I don't get off work till 3pm, be there around 3:30.
  6. I'm digging the gloves so far, but the my left hand seems a bit bigger them my right so the gloves ends up a bit tight across the hard knuckle guard and finger tips. I'm just hoping the seems don't tear out like my old Joe Rocket set did! Other then that the boots are breaking in slowly.
  7. Yeah, its for the 1000. I already have a PC3 and BMC filters in it. I ordered the Arata Full system Ti today with Box can and new gasket set from brad @Superbikesupply. Unfortunately, the one he had in stock sold 1hr before I got back to him So he ordered me another one from Japan, but it'll take 2 weeks to get in. I wanted the Black can, but Arata discontinued it...so silver it is. Going to Schmuck's when I get it in/time scheduled so I'll take some before and after pics. Sato also went out, so I was down to Arata/Akro. I liked the sound and look of the Arata better so thats what I got. So this year for upgrades looks to be, Frame Sliders, Full System, Greggs Flushmounts, and to get dynoed when the system is in. As for me: Scorpian EXO700, AStar Charger race suit, SMX-R Boots and GP Plus Gloves. Its going to be a good year!
  8. Thanks for the input all. Trying to see what I am getting myself into, but I just don't see a reason to pay a dealer charge in buying the system+their rate. I can save $700+ if I order it online. I know I need to get a new header gasket and probably some Adhesive Heat Barrier for the lower fairings/canister. Still trying to research it, but I've seen where others have had to modify/cut the lower right corner for the last header to fit. This is what I would fear the most, as I hate cutting plastics! Knicks-Thanks for the offer and I feel ya for beer! But Cleveland is be a bit of a haul from Southern Columbus
  9. Looking for some help on installing a full system for my bike. I found a great deal at SBS on an Arata Full Ti, but I don't have the knowledge to try it all by myself. I have yet to order it as I need to double check the bank $$ and most likely get a new header gasket from what I have been reading. Willing to transport all items to preferred work place as I dont have the necessary equipment. (Stands etc). I know its a 3-5hr job, but if anyone is willing to help, I'd gladly pay them for services.(Cash, beer etc). Anyways let me know. Looking to try and do more self work versus eatting the shop rate. Thanks, Steve
  10. On the sales side also, they tried to get me to buy a 1000rr with New Repsol plastics and shaved engine cases...on both sides. Sales guy said, "well, when your draggin knee's". I kinda just walked out the door at that point. As for service, I use Joe Carson's between Carroll and Lancaster. $68/hr rate and their service guys have been good to me.

    Ride 3/17

Great day here also. Big thanks to Ben and Ron to getting us out today. Me and Ben headed to Cosh and met up with Ron and Ross. We hit up some twisties, but the gravel was pretty bad on a lot of the roads. Think I hit about 250 miles total, but man it was a great time. Looking forward to the rest of the year!

GL to those leaving early, and keep warm! Me and Ben are meeting up at the kroger parking lot at the worthington mall (southwest corner of 23-270) around 2pmish. Probably going to do last years Hocking Hills Ride or a variation of it. If anyone wants to come, you can meet us there.
  13. I think a dozen or so have been stolen in the last few weeks. They are the easiest car to steal. Mid/Late 80s Models primarily.

    Ride 3/17

Think me and Ben are looking at around 2pm and back a few hours later. Anyone else going on this with us? Prolly some Hocking Hills area.

    Ride 3/17

Kroger works for me, say 2:30pm then. I don't think drunks will be the problem in the countryside we are going down. Should only take 3-4 hrs depending on how many stops we make...5 at most.

Bump if anyone else is game.
  17. Now that I have got most of the gear out of the way, I have come down to another cross road. I want to do an exhaust this year, but I keep flipping back and forth on an Arata slip on vs full system. I know the thought system on this, do you want sound with minor power or more power and less weight. I'm fine with the power of my bike, but I've been leaning towards full system as I can buy it online for an alright price. But then I have the problem of installation. I have done a slip on before, but not a full system. My local shop won't do it unless I buy the system through them, which costs $600+ more. Anyways, thoughts on this? If someone is familar with doing it, I'm willing to pay them for the help as I'm sure it would be cheaper then the local stealership.

    Ride 3/17

I typically cruise, but a little over the speed limit. I try to keep away from doing anthing too brash. Anyways, I can come up with something but need some info on how long we would like to be out and start at 2-2:30ish?

    Ride 3/17

Looks like 3 of us so far. As I am unfamiliar with some Eastern Highways/Roads, I have been looking at google map. It comes down to how long we want to be out on what I can come up with. Looking at maybe meeting at IP, then 70East to 668 South/13 South to New Lex where we can start back or keep going. Say 93 to Logan and 664 North coming back to 256. Bout 140 miles total.

    Ride 3/17

I'm open to suggestions/idea's. But since I am from Lanc/Canal I've primarily went South. Unless your refering to the 220/124 route. Which is anything but boring.(but a day ride which I am not doing tomorrow)

    Ride 3/17

Yeah I hear ya. This year I plan on doing a 3-4hr ride ride down South and West. I drove St. Rt 124 West last year and though...man this would be great for a bike. Something like 23 down to Waverly, (Hometown) and then 220 West to 124 North/West through Hillsboro into 134. Then back on 28 East into Greenfield and 138 Northeast to Circleville, As for tomorrow, I just want to get away from all the insanity and drinking. Nice back country road. Maybe 33 to 188 down to 159 and back.
  22. Welcome! Now everyone will want to see pics of your bike so;

    Ride 3/17

Anyone up for a ride tomorrow? Time/place can be up in the air depending on everyones schedules and how long we want to go out. Suppose to be sunny and high near 67.
  24. I'd come, but while installing the frame sliders yesterday I found my coolant reservoir is empty! Guess it slipped the minds of Tech's at Joe Carson's while replacing the radiator to fill it up. /sigh
