    Get YUASA or Biketrasher and simply put a battery tender on it....done. Seriously, sitting kills these little batteries but if you keep a tender on it it will be nice and fresh when you need it. I got 6yrs out of my Yuasa..... and have some biketrashers in a few other units that are doing fine at 2+yrs.... just sayin
