in all seriousness, im glad you posted this satan. i oft get caught reading in my car with no place to lay my book and/or magazine.

its an interesting psychological phenomenon. like people usually see the negative side on things that dont affect them much. i.e. driving down the highway and somebody blows by you doing well more than the speed limit, most times people will kinda think to themselves "idiot driver" instead of something like "hmm maybe theyre rushing to the hospital"

isnt it strange how children are the future but teaching jobs are some of the least well paying? if we could darn well get ron paul in office some of these things might change after the Dept. of Ed. is no longer a part of the federal government.

it really makes me sad to see ignorance like this today. if you actually knew about political systems you would realize a purely capitAlist nation would have as much chance coming to fruition as a purely communist government. there have been a slight few primitive peoples which have achieved a "commune" but neither form of pure government has had any play in modern world politics. socialism is the middle ground, and everyone uses some form of it today. even america. im not disagreeing with you, as i dont think many of the government controlled organizations are very effective at all, but to go and generalize everything is pointless, as all of these are drawn out and complicated matters. on a sidenote, if ron paul could get elected he wants nothing more than to get rid of many of the government orgs that are abusing taxpayer money.

after reading this large and drawn out argument where the two sides are subliminally arguing different points, it seems like the real culprit here is the financial advisor that advises people to "invest" in a house when it is not in their best interest. i.e. college student about to graduate, or someone who hasnt found a job to settle down in yet (as is the case with contractors), or in todds case someone who just isnt where they want to be for the rest of their lives. so lets go have some ribs and go burn down some "financial" offices.

+1. but they will never report on that. its not news. things that make life suck are news. if the real reason for all of this housing hubbub was found to (hypothetically) be that people are just being scared into selling their house, and they should just keep it, or that banks should really be telling them that they cant afford that house right now, then there would be no news. another reason i dont watch news on tv or internet unless theres a good reason.

unless youre in college and dont plan on staying in a college town for the rest of your life.
