Anyone doing the LED at MidOhio on July 4th?

I put the track dates for Nelson up... There is a race that weekend, but it's on sunday, the trackday is sat!

Ya it's the 10. I bought the whole GALFER kit that come with the steel lines, and street/track pads. I put them on last Sept, and used the Castrol fluid(DOT5+ synthetic like $15 for a little bottle).. Run an LED at Mid-Ohio, and a 2 day at Putnum. Both days they faded bad, I mean mean lever pulled in to my fingers. They were bled with a power bleeder, and I've bled them since as well.. The fluid is still Clear, and doesn't look dirty at all.. I always have the lever set at setting "1"... Was this a 1st Gen prob with the Calipers, or 2nd Gen? How much did you drop on those 14 Calipers? Are there relatively cheap aftermarket Calipers(I'm assuming not)? They seem to be fine on the street, except for the 3 Hocking Hills rides this year, and the 536 ride.. Thank god for downshifting! I'm gonna try using a fine sandpaper this sunday and getting the glaze(if any) off, and if that doesn't work, time to spend money I don't have!

As long as it's not pouring, we'll still be doing this. This radar shows all rain gone by noon, so I think it would be worth risking a pop-up shower because we will still be on the damn flat roads, headed there... Where is Caldwell? We will be stopping at the Valero station in Rockbridge, off 33, before 78 for gas and rest. Should be there by 10:20-30.. That work for you?

Learn on your own? You don't want to go out and learn the wrong way. You NEED to know the proper way to enter/exit the track, flags, and everything else about safety, for you, and the rest of the riders and track officials out there! That class will only take a few minutes of your time, then you go out in a controlled enviroment with other beginners and learn the ropes. No track will let a first timer go out and do what they want.

Since when did this site have commercial adds???? As the thread says I'm only interested in the 2 listed helmets. Icon are junk for riding on the track!

Looking for either a Shoei X-11 or an Arai Vector. MEDIUM Doesn't have to be perfect, but 3 years or newer, and no damage. Small scratches ok. Cheap!

So now that enough of us are doing tackdays, how about making a new catagory? I mean bike nights has its own for dates/places etc. That way we can search for tracks and dates and see who is going where and get groups together.Maybe even buy/sell dates... Hell, there are 2 threads right now just on Bluegrass.. I'll start: July 4th. MidOhio LED 4:30-dusk $150 July 25/26. Putnum STT $305 Aug 2. Putnum $149 Aug 22. MidOhio LED 430-dusk $150 Sept 5. NelsonLedges NESBA $145 or Sept 5/6 Putnum NESBA $155 per day Sept 19/20 MidOhio 2-8pm 2day$375 Sept 28/29 MidOhio(all in 2 event) $195 That's as far as I've looked into the year so far...and all are weekend events except for the last all in 2.. Anyone going to any of these?

I'm just curious bc I'm thinking about upgrading to the vesra's because my galfer(street/track) pads keep getting hot and fading by the end of the 15 min! Is it worth the price for the vesra compared to the price/performance of the galfer?

I've never even got to ride w u yet! WTF

There were 3 corners out of 150+ that had a little bit of gravel. Nothing to worry about.. Every back road will have something on it.

No shit man. I appologized yesterday for not being able to make it. Some things are more important in life, like making the bike payment that is 2 months behind. Once again, I'm sorry i couldnt make it, but I think I sacrificed a little more. Just sold my entire bedroom set, including the Mattress, for less than half of what I paid for everything last year, just to get my bike payments caught up. I've never flopped a ride before, and it won't happen again.. Hope your little temper and the negative rep was worth it today.

So what ever happened with the company and these pads? Can u tell us what pads they were now, and what the company did for u? I'm in the market for new pads. My Galfers are on the fritz

Sorry I was too busy to get online last nite..it looks like rain tommorow fyi.. Anyhow, I have someone coming at 8am tomorow morning to look at my bed set. If she buys it ill have to stay home bc she'll be coming back w a truck at 1 to get it. If not ill meet up w u guys in loudenville at the marathon w siggy at 1130 and show u some nice back roads outside and inside mohican! We can do whatever.. If I'm not there then I apologize, but its really important that I sell this shit and get money. I know u guys can appreciate that! For Sale: Stock exhaust off of the 06/07 ZX10R. I think I used it for a week before removing it for the aftermarket system. I know it's not a hot commody, but maybe someone has a wrecked bike and actually needs it? It's just taking up space in the garage... Or trade for Track Gear etc..
