  10. Should be a good time! I might even go to the one this Sat as well if no one else has a better ride, or closer at least! lol

  11. Yep that was it! its probably the sharpest turn in the first mile or soo... lesson learned after that one
  12. We'll figure something out before then.. I'm freaking pumped now that I've been there once!
  13. On most of the corners you can see ahead through the corner.. There was one corner on the first ride through that got both Jason and I as we used every bit of white line to white line! Not gonna lie that corner could easily swallow 10% of every bike going through it! lol
  14. i read this when it first come out and was actually surprised.. it makes sense.. i still weave when i first pull out on the street though if i was in a dirty parking lot or whatever just to clean off the dirt real quick.. i actually put my PP 2CT's on last year brand new at Mid Ohio, and they were great from lap 3.. Myth busted!
  15. We can come up w another meeting spot on the north side of 78 if you need. Maybe nelsonville?
  16. Its like $432 for me to get it out of pawn.I need $500 cash. Total cost to make it yours $932.
  17. Ok everyone. Ride 6/20. Check the thread
  18. Ok Folks, you want it, you got it. Next Saturday, the 20th, I will lead a group from Columbus to the River and Back. We will leave Columbus and head east to 78 and ride 78 all the way down to 536. Ride 536 down to the River so you can see the road and figure out where the gravel spots and hard turns are, then ride it backwards back to 78 for some real fun. Depending on the time we can either take a back way back to Columbus, or ride the highway which took me 2 hours in my car last Saturday with a trailer. The trip down there will take about 4 hours plus, plus rest stops, food, etc. This will be an entire day trip so plan on it. Anyone from north of Columbus is more than welcome to stay at my house Friday night and Saturday if you dont feel like riding home after all that. I have plenty of room. I don't need alternate route suggestions, I know there are hundreds of great roads in the area. This is a trip specificly for these roads. I'll make a map for you guys, but theres really only 3 roads soo... Meeting place is SkyLine off of Brice road and 70 on the east side. 9am. Leave at 9:30am Sharp. I better see you guys here that are all talking about wanting to ride this road! ANNNNND GEMMMMMMMMAAAAA pm me for directions to my house if you wanna crash Here is a map: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=108313114231842932016.00046c8e4b271dbf64d9d&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=39.689752,-80.929413&spn=0.399984,0.615234&z=11 Stops are marked on the map for gas and food etc
  19. Compared to what? When you want to go ride with me and lets see what Gemma can do!
  20. actually I rode N KY w u guys and it was NOTHING compared to this road when ur talkn in terms of technicality and skill.. Dont get me wrong i loved the n ky ride, but this was hard, really hard. 555 was weak compared to this road.
  21. Ok so Jason and I decided to make the trip down to OH 536, "Ohio's tail of the Dragon"... We started the ride in Hocking and rode 78 all the way down there, 3.5 hours. 78 was an awesome rode and I recomend that rode to anyone! All 3.5 hours of it was freaking awesome, with clean roads the entire way! One we got to 536 we quickly figured out what we were in for! the very first turn 200 yards into it is a 90 degree uphill left! This pic is the only 2 straights on the entire road! This is the average turn on this road. Gradually turns in then just around the apex turns in almost 90 degrees, off camber, and some turns have some sort of bump in the turn that throws your suspension off! I have 3 videos that turned out great, but it says theres still 2 hours left to upload them to utube, so it will be awhile before i can get them on on here... All in all a great trip, besides Jason's little mishap with the bird and pavement, just WOULD NOT recomend this trip for anyone less than ADVANCED. The road has some corners with gravel, 1 corner with mud from a tractor, and 40% of the turns have some sort of bump that lifts your suspsnsion into the turn! I do however highly reccomend the trip there on 78! That road was completly clear with light traffic, zero cops, and beautiful views! This video was the pre-ride to check out the road: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qKE3yn4sAg Video 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogxEe1fDPnQ Video 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utIrql3F44A
