Yeah man thats awesome, crazy thing is i seem to get guys like that ALL the time. Not that im bragging but ive been pulled over 14 times, all for stupid shit like going 6 over, or doing a donut in a parking lot, or riding wheelies, and one for drag racing. All have been verbal warnings, i dunno how its happened other than i have a clean driving record and every cop seems to not want to mess it up. O well, good for you and knock on wood for me lol

Thats not an 03, thats an 02, in 2003 there was a huge design change, thats the generation before it, just thought id clear that up....

The only problem with the 05 that im aware of isnt even a problem for some people. The windshield is so low on them that if you tall like me (6ft4), then its almost immpossbile to see the speedo unless your in a tucked position. That can be fixed with a puig windscreen. Also they have a loud valve ticking, but thats common with most kawi's. Other than that thier great bikes, i love mine.

It looks like its the same engine as BF2? Does anyone know, because it would be badass to get an improved engine, opposed to a professional mod which is what it would basically be.

Yeah deff wasint aware of that rule at all, ive been pulled over for doing wheelies twice, both times got off with a warning (knock on wood).

Muthapucka how many track days have you done before you got your WERA license? Just curious cuz im looking to getting mine when i get some cash together, ive only got 2 track days under my belt and i can keep up just fine in the sportbiketracktime intermediate group

Ive ran my 636 at trails several times just for fun. My best run is 11.1@124 mph. The only mods i have are a pIIIUSB, TRS slip on. Im not a pro drag racer by any means, but i remember i was getting my R/T to .05. I doubt an R6 does high 9's stock without it being at least strapped, the main reason i wasint breaking tens other than my lack of expierence was i couldint keep the front wheel down. But maybe its just me.....

For $2500?, there was a guy on here that was selling a 95 zx6r for that exact price. Looked like it was in great shape, and those are overall awesome bikes. Id look into that if its still for sale.

Deff good to see some actual motor work being done unlike pimp my ride. Id rather have triple the horsepower than a 30 inch tv and a fish tank in my trunk.
