  1. i want to go, im not sure if i should haul the dirtbike down there, or ride the gsxr...hmmmm
  2. Will do, me and a few others are doing it all in one day, haha
  3. I struggled with it for a minute, but I found it's easy if I put the spring in the hole, then put the back end of the pin in the slot, and lastly, slide the barrel in. Once I figured that out, it only took a second
  4. yeah, ammo is a little pricier than 9mm and 40, but so far i havent had problems getting my hands on it, like i said in the other thread, i found a place really close with great prices and a good supplier, and if they ever have problems, the bill goodman show comes to town once a month it seems like
  5. i did, felt funny in my hands. this gun feels natural to me
  6. i didnt really say that, i would feel perfectly safe carrying something like a glock or xd, but if im teaching someone else how to shoot, etc... it doesnt hurt to have it on the gun if i feel that i need it. but thanks, i will
  7. Im getting my ccw next week, i was planning on getting a xd40 subcompact, but I decided against it, because it is pretty thick, along with the glocks and alot of other polymer auto's. Im a pretty skinny dude as most of you know, so I felt a single stack auto would be best. I also like having an external hammer and a manual safety (for peace of mind when I'm handling it, I still have not decided how I am going to carry it) pretty thin gun, but it has a 3.6" barrel, it's pretty accurate, I was impressed. It comes with a little walther tool that you have to use to strip it (which sucks, but after you turn the little knob with it, the gun is simple to take apart after that) the tool can also be used to lock the trigger. I cant think of any situations where I would use it, but maybe some of you guys with kids would like to have that. Also has a little opening where you can see if there is a round in the chamber.t he laser to the p22 fits on this as well. There are some downsides though, its a 8+1, and Walther doesnt make shit for it yet, I cant even buy another magazine! But they will be selling them soon. I bought it for $339 at a gun show, and I am very happy with it, i put 100 rounds through it today, and it shot great! would highly recommend it.
  8. im thankful i have never had pins, when I messed up my ankle i got screws instead
  9. i found a nice shop that opened up a few months ago 5 mins away from me, awesome prices, NO LIMIT, i bought 25 HP for $21, 50 alum. cased rounds for 28, and 50 fmj's for 25 i think. if you are willing to make the trip, pm me, we can meet up there, ill be buying more within the next couple of days edit: guess i should read the thread before i post, looks like you guys found better deals, haha
  10. anyone find good prices o n .380 acp?
  11. i tried to ride a couple times...didnt go so well, this coming winter, im spiking my tires
  12. just try craigslist, if you need money, try to get an unsecured personal loan from the bank
  13. ^ i like it! once again, jerm brings back this thread from the dead with another tattoo im in love with this piece, its one of those that never end, it is going to curve around and go onto my foot, and hell, maybe ill do my entire leg. definantly a different style than the other pieces i have. its kinda a unique style to a handful of artists, like a mix of native american tribal, tibetian (spelling?) tribal, dotwork, with a little bit of indian/hindi art inspiration this is after 3 short sessions, two of which, were within 3 days...i fealt it needless to say
  14. damn, this sounds like a great trip!i want to go so bad, but i need to save more money this year. Damn, i didnt go out west because of my bike, and now i have the bike for it, and no money, fml!
  15. because i was about to kill myself on my motard, and i feel more at home on a sportbike on the street
  16. id rather ice race on dirtbikes, ive been tossing the idea of modding my bike to compete in the am race next season. those burnouts were awesome though!
  17. +1! i love the power and gearing of a mx bike in the woods, trail bikes are too heavy, the gearboxes are goofy, and usually sit too low. i dont need an electric start or a headlight! I threw some bark busters on mine, and iit does great in the woods
  18. did you have buy the episodes? looks awesome, its always been my dream to take a trip like that!
  19. for that money, i would rather buy a bmw s1000rr, a production streetfighter is an oxymoron anyways
  20. looks awesome! thats the only modern metric bobber that ive seen that i liked
