  1. How much for just the front?
  2. Again, you really need a bill of sale to match up the signatures and such. Since it was signed over, he must have paid cash for the bike vs a loan. Which is good. But, the warranty idea is out the window...
  3. Don't silicone the brake pins. Drill through the top and wire them. Otherwise, every time you change pads, you need to clean the crap off and re-apply. It's a mess, looks like poo and is a bitch to clean up. Now, if you NEEEEEED to get out of a pinch, by all means use the stuff. And, use high temp black stuff. I will load a pic of an example from my bike, but I HATE silicone. It's a great quick fix, but it's just that - a quick fix...
  4. Anything is track capable. It's just whether or not something is better suited. The vid is cool, but it isn't the best choice for a fast lap at that track... They certainly were not flying...
  5. If it has an MSO, that's just as good if not better than a title. That means it was never titled and is still in the dealers name. That means it is available for warranty still. The only issue to watch is to make sure you have a bill of sale from dealer to the OP. That trail of paperwork is going to be a must. If not, there's really nothing to stop the dealer from getting it back.
  6. It burned up clutches due to the fact that it is designed and built to be a road racer - not a drag bike. Not saying the Busa was designed as such, either. But, we do not harm clutches as much as what they put the bike through - especially since it was done over and over again... We can get 1/2 a season at worse and sometimes a full season on a clutch. I think it is pretty darn impressive for the bike out of the crate to pull such numbers, but not really surprised as the power and the wight are there to be such... I like how the thing wants to stand up mid track under load... SAWEEET!!
  7. Alrighty, guys... I'll make it really easy. IF you want the stuff, PM me what way you want to do this. For example... If you want me to ship it, tell me. If you want to meet and pck up w/o shipping, tell me. Buyers that PM me what they want to do will get a return PM based on what they want. We will go that route. I have these on another site and it is first come, first served and it is based on PMs. RVT PMd me first on the hoodie and he is getting it shipped today.
  8. Ok... No PM. RVT PMd me that he wanted the stuff, I PMd my PayPal info since he cannot meet in CBus... Let me know what you want to do. Meet, PayPal, ??
  9. OR Stickers are cool. Like me running a decal for a friend that passed away. It is a call out and recognizing what you are into or friends you have, etc. Very cool... However, DO NOT put decals on your bike unless one of two things: -You get paid to run them (Contingency) -You get a discount or free stuff. My opinion, if they do not give you a substantial discount or free stuff, it shouldn't go on your bike. Some guys get a 20% off retail discount or run through a website that gets them support, but it is never a face to face like it used to be. We get free brake pads, free oil, free labor, free products, super discounts on certain things and some of it is giving kudos to folks I think are worth mentioning like 614 Paintworx, etc... The idea is that you run the decals and say they are the best and get a SMALL check. That's not sponsorship... Create your own decals and do it right. We run decals that are all the same color and look professional. I hate different colored stickers lumped on to a belly pan... As for the contingency, you need to look closely. For example, some require to be registered on XTRM or similar. Most do not require a need to fill out paperwork each event. Most if needing filled out is simply a tech form with WERA and they send the results to the companies. If they need to fill out paperwork, you do it once a year and go from there. Long gone are the days where you fill out several contingency forms each and every race weekend. THANK GOD!!!
  10. Alright... RVT has dibs on the Honda hoody. I am planning on being at Pony this wek if anyone wants to meet and save the shipping...
  11. I have a few items I had in the closet and figured it could go to a more deserving home. EVERYTHING is $8. Shipping is going to be about $5 each or $8 for it all... Or free if you are around central Ohio... Kawasaki Team shirts. Size XL. I have two of these. We got them when we rode for Kawasaki so, the colors reflect that obviously. But, they are MotoWear stuff which is top line pit shirt makers... QTY (2): Uploaded with ImageShack.us Kawasaki Team Jacket. Got this at the same time. It's a rubbery type fabric. Really cool and at least this doesn't have purple!! Size XL QTY (1): Uploaded with ImageShack.us Team Honda Fox sweatshirt. Size XL. This is the Woody Woodpecker Team Hoodie. Maybe worn a few times at most. Heavy Duty fabric before they got cheaper and thinner stuff... QTY (1): Uploaded with ImageShack.us Finally, a Team Fox Racing shirt. BRAND NEW. Dark Green. Pit vents, etc. Really quality shirt. These were limited runs for team and employees... Size XL QTY (1): Uploaded with ImageShack.us Thanks!! If you want it all, I will do $40 shipped.
  12. By proof of video, I doubt Sean makes those two kids do two more weekends... Pretty typical overreaction with the endo/stoppie. Guy got in way too hot and just bowling balled the other guys. Quite a bit worse than Rossi's mistake...
  13. Got these, but cannot pull them off. Just not my thang, I guess. Never worn other than to try on. Retails for $120. Buy these for $60 shipped. $55 if we meet around CBus. The pic is a stock pic, but I can take an actual if needed. Again, new... Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  14. I did it. I was doing one for a memorial sticker for a friend who had passed on and decided to do one for Paul and see if he dug it. He liked it so, I had some made and will give him the rest.
  15. Yup, it came out well, I think... Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  16. The Star. They sent me the new Carbon Roland Sands model. They also sent a couple of others as well. They are really great lids and the guys at Bell are the shiznit!
  17. Paul has done it again!! He got the GSXR1000 done and when we get a few small pieces, I will post a completed shot of it all done up. It will be sleek! As for the RC8R RS, it has been delayed in getting them all into the US. I still don't have it! However, Paul got the plastics done and they look AWESOME!! Figured I would throw out a few pics... The plastics will have an OEM look. I wanted to advertise the OEM 2011 RC8R as much as I could. I like the theme and the layout. We will be adding the OEM graphics excluding the lower KTM one as seen on the bike: Uploaded with ImageShack.us The race plastics as they sit now have not been numbered as I am waiting on the upper graphics before we do that. The decals on the lower are done and my decal guy had a tough time getting the KTM orange correct. As you can see, it is just off enough to stand out. I'm pretty bummed, but it will have to do and I think once on the bike and running around the track, it will look great. Paul, however, got the OEM color PERFECT!!!! Here is the complete set buttoned together... Uploaded with ImageShack.us The tail is awesome. I will be adding a number on the bottom of the tail so, the white area is open right now until we get them on. Paul did a little creative art on the tail and added the orange on the tips that go against the tank. I think it is perfect and looks great! Notice the 614 decals!! Uploaded with ImageShack.us Will get more pics as we get bikes and parts on!
  18. Well, I can obviously give a perspective from being a part of KTM... It is a great opportunity to ride for about $80 more than a standard Mid-Ohio full day event. For $80, you get to ride equally prepped 2011 RC8Rs with fresh tires and we keep them full of gas. If you weighed the costs out, you'd spend more than $80 to use your own bike... We try and have it set up so that it is pretty seamless for you the customer. We want it to be a fun and exciting day for you and I think we do a good job of getting that done. Of course, I am a bit biased, but if I were to look at it completely as a customer, it is a great chance to try a track day, but also to get some seat time on a pretty cool machine... We run Dunlop Q2s which are an awesome track day tire. We also have all the RC8Rs this year at the full on track set-up. Meaning, all the sub frames are raised, all the pegs are up and we have all the suspension settings at the track setting. Last year, we had to work with Skip Barber and they always had stuff lowered as their demographic was older and wanted it that way... We also will not have to worry about sound issues and the FMF extensions which were known to drag a bit. So, pretty good set-up!
  19. I got my RC8R and GSXR1000 plastics from him and he did (as usual) an amazing job. These are race only bikes and typically, you don't get too great a paint job. Paul makes me look BALLER! He's really good and can do almost anything!
  20. Dude, if you are serious about racing, you need to store that thing indoors. Weather will kill items that need maintained. After seeing the pitting and corrosion it is showing, I am willing to bet things like the pivot points, linkage points, etc are corroded also. The factory BARELY puts any lube on things like the swingarm bolt and after it sits like it has, you probably have some corrosion in places like that...
  21. Dude, you need to seriously clean that thing!
