Here are pics! They are 120/70 fronts and 190/55 rears. All three sets look like this and all three sets have the same time on them... Set: Uploaded with ImageShack.us Rear wear: Uploaded with ImageShack.us Front wear: Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Post on WERA. $5k for a 2007 is pretty close. I'd push the $5500 price as if it is low miles and well maintained, it will pull that. These are the older geny R6s, though and the 08/09 is more sought after, many guys still like these... Check the guy with the RC51... Would be a great trade and some cash... Maybe do $500 from him and you'd be fair to go...

No way I would trade the CBR for anything less than $1500-$1700 plus the bike... The 636 depends on condition and is newer... I think he should look at the guy asking about the 2007 R6... Realize one thing. CBRs in the older geny frames are not worth much beyond $3-$3500. 636s are worth about $4k and the R6 in 2006 vintage is about $4500-$5k depending... If he is asking $5k for a bike that is well sought after (It is a cult bike also...), do the math. Nobody is saying what things should be sold for, but to suggest to the OP what they should trade plus cash for is more than reasonable...

I only have two sets. MIGHT consider selling the third set if someone wants all three. I will post pics tomorrow, but these are in great shape and are easily acceptable to run on any bike. All are 120 fronts and 190 rears... $100 a set. $175 for two sets and $225 for all three...

Everything is sold! Check my other thread for 2CTs... -
Dude, one helluva clean RC. Man! If I didn't think every RC51 had the spirit of Kujo in them, I'd consider this! All kidding aside, I will let a couple of buddies know about this thing. Wow... By the way, what's the story on the truck in the background?
-
You are correct. I messed that part up. nonsense replies... Good one. I'm done here... For now I guess... You won't man up and respond to the comments outside the texting so, I'll check out some other threads...

Oh, it's made of shit better than ninjas... It's made with the urine of Chuck Norris and the scent of Flounder. All mixed together with the tears of Born Sinner ('cause Chuck don't cry - EVER!). Then, I slaughter babies and puppies for icing. It's sweet how fast this thing is. SAWEEEET!
-
Winner, winner... chicken dinner!
-
Hellz no!! It's made from 500 newborns and 500 puppies. Dats why itz so stinkin fast!

Sorry I offended the grammar cop. Seriously?

So, genius... Is racing motorcycles on a closed course more dangerous than riding on the street? Do you really want to go there? Did you play ANY sports? Get back to me. I'm hoping you are just being silly and not serious...
-
That word "nearly" is a funny thing isn't it? Your case is thrown out for not checking before speaking up and wasting the court's time... Also, he wasn't texting by result of the video he has. Texting might be illegal (you need to prove it is in the spot he was driving...) in the area, but there is no law against use of a video taping device. Anything else? Now, back to the idea that you are saying it was dangerous and use of the stopping ability of said machines...

Ahhhh... Well in that case, dem SVs are fur pussies. Not like the kind a woman hases. But like one dem guys riding dem thangs. I see a guy on an SV and think he's pussy. He needs himself what I gots - one dem 1000 ninja type bikes, yo!

There are certainly expections to every rule for sure. I can find guys that build cars that can fly... The point is that the situation that Flounder is talking about while fine to allow anyone to do what they want, wasn't really a smart or safe idea. Again, he can do what he wants, but doesn't make it safe or the best choice...
-
Ben- Danger to others is something you aren't getting. He can do what he wants and he can ride in whatever he wants. It is stupid, it is irresponsible and is dangerous. He can easily low side as a result of braking on snow/ice. That causes the scooter to lay on it's side and run right into a car. Car gets hit and causes a chain reaction... In your world, where you apparently only follow at a reasonable distance, do all the right things in a car or bike are an exception to the majority here. I can guarantee that a LOT of people aren't as amazing in a car or to wheels as you are. They are also not at the ability level to make quick reactions properly to get stopped in time and avoid an issue. Thus, the scooter crashes and sets off a chain reaction on a VERY populated road and gets a lot of people into a crash that could have been avoided had he used his head. Now, before you go and tell me that a guy in a car can do the same thing - agreed. However, you can do something to avoid a higher risk of possibility by choosing not to do something. Like 1000 stated - you can stick your dick in a blender, but you choose not to. If I had no other choice, fine... But, the topic was how stupid it is and then we get the peanut gallery chiming in how great they all drive and that it isn't dangerous - only to the rider and no big deal. You guys are awesome... But, to the remaining group, the idea is that if the conditions are shit, what makes more sense? It rains and turns to ice. You look outside. You have to go out in the shit. What do you choose? Now, if you HAVE to ride nothing other than the scooter, would you ride down 33? Would you maybe take an alternate route and a less traveled route to make the trip at least less risk? There are choices that are made. If it was his ONLY mode of transportation, then he still has safer and more realistic choices to avoid a situation that will ALSO involve others. Believe it or not, in the traffic the guy was in, if he had ate a shit burger, he would have collected others. That's a danger to others and something that could have been avoided or the risk reduced... As for what he can argue... Flounder's truck is 4x4 with good winter weather traction due to the all season radials he has on his truck. Not to mention the ABS and the fool proof electronics on today's cars. Dipshit's scooter has smooth street radials, no ABS, no electronics package, etc. He tucks the front, he goes BOOM and the scooter becomes a ground missile into whatever it hits. I'm willing to bet that Flounder at 35 mph and scooterific at 35 mph are going to net two different results. Instant stop ahead and both slam on brakes, scooter is going to travel further than Flounder's well equipped Yota... And finally to the fact that Flounder taped it - really? I can text and probably drive with my knees at a level higher than most people can with full attention and at 10 & 2... You are generalizing no differently than what we are saying of this guy. If you think we are doing that, you have zero right to judge Flounder for taping the situation... The saying that has been mentioned is we don't know his ability level and so, we shouldn't judge. You shouldn't judge Flounder for taping... Maybe he has more than enough ability to do both safely and without endangering anyone else around him... So back to you, so what?
-
Why? One of the best bikes to ride and to learn to ride on... Let me guess... That GSXR1000 is the only bike for you, right?
-
Is there an echo in here?
-
The difference is the car is designed and more likely to make it. Fuck... I knew I should have stayed out of this thread. We apparently have WAY too many super duper riders that ride around in elements that are seemingly perfectly fine for 2 wheels. Much safer and very much at MINIMAL, as safe as a car... I'm done. Gotta get a shock off a bike. Have fun everyone. Flounder? Good fucking luck on this one...
-
So when you say "When I do it, I am an idiot" was just joking? Strange to use Casey as an example of spinning up the rear and sliding out of a turn and then you say when you do it... Guess I missed something or that was a really bad example... At least you are honest enough to realize you don't...
-
I had the Berg out in town this morning! It was stupid fun!!
-
You don't do what Casey is doing in that pic. You might think you do, but you don't. Next?
-
Ok, moron drops the bike at 20 mph (probably going faster than that), causes the people around him to over react (happens all the time). That reaction causes cars to crash. Car crashes are dangerous. Get it now? Chain reaction whether due to poor driving or idiots on bikes, doesn't matter. It happens a lot. Hell, had a kid today as we were driving up north for family stuff over reacted and damn near went right into the ditch. He panicked because the driver in front stopped sooner than he expected and almost skid right to the ditch. Sure, he was at fault, but the same thing would happen if a bike crashed in front of the same kid. Except now, he is in town around a shit pile more cars...
-
Nah, other people get it, too. But, as many on here seem to think - it's ok to ride in snow and apparently, everyone does it. There must only be a select few that understand just how fucking stupid it is to think you can ride a two wheeled motorcycle (Other than a DS or similar) in conditions like you show. I understand getting with buddies and throwing a leg over the ol' dirtbike or DS bike and having a shit pile of fun, but anything with radial tires in deep snow (2" or more) or in conditions where there is snow in between wheel tracks, you are being a tard and also endangering others...
