  1. That's ok, RK will teach ya as he apparently has it all figured out. I think his comments about Gavin are pretty fun to read... Get with Brian Conrad and he will point you to the right guys to learn off of. Less egos...
  2. Always feel free to come talk at the garage before we go to classroom. I usually try and ride the afternoon sessions, but can obviously talk if I know you are coming or want to. Or at worse case, guide you to the best coach I think can help. Tom, Rick, etc are all guys that float between instructing in different groups and may be readily available. I can do something like that so that if they aren't in the Intermediate group, they are still assets.
  3. If the airbox works, I am willing to do this. I am traveling down to meet Paul (Attackpainter) and drop plastics off for paint. I could leave with him... Let me know what the price you were thinking. I don't want to be spending a ton. I can get the exhaust at below dealer from a buddy who is a rep...
  4. I got the exhaust you need and I think the 97 airbox is the same. How much you looking for? The exhaust is uber clean...
  5. Nah, it was all good. Hence why I didn't approach you about it or any of the other coaches. It was fine. No way I want a guy to have to move. We would have accommodated. Hell, I parked my car in front of garage 7 as it was so open this weekend. The point was for you to have fun and enjoy the event. Sounds like you did. Mission accomplished.
  6. Thanks, man. I am working on getting the coaches in there more. We had Drew on Friday and Tom, Bill and Devon on Saturday. Tom and Bill that were attending have some serious time at the track and know the preferred line rather well. Both Drew and Devon do also. Amongst those guys along with myself, I think we had some good points brought up. I want to be able to get Tom, Rick, Rob and myself to lead the classroom stuff. Do you find working on segments better than anything or would you like to see something added in addition to more coach feedback?
  7. Glad you had a great time. The Eric you referred is Eric Pinson. Good dude. Just a side note and since we were not full like typical, we let it slide. You had placed your canopy in front of the garages. Typically, that area is designed to allow the vehicles of those paying for garages to park in front of the numbered garage they paid for and be able to unload and travel back and forth. Just keep that in mind next time as if it is full, we will have to ask you to move... Nicely of course. I recognized your bike when I saw it, but wasn't sure who you were. Got to meet some new faces from OR that I haven't seen before and it was pretty cool. Yeah... The red flags... Todd jinxed us when I was doing Rider's Meeting and he blurted out that yesterday (Friday) we had zero red flags!!! Damn car guys...
  8. Exactly. Craig... I love ya, man... But the comments do nothing but place fear in people's minds and it is just simply not as bad as people make it out to be. Green and loose is perfect. Not ice. Trust me... I've ridden on ice...
  9. No offense, Craig but "ice" is not accurate. There is a level of slick that happens when cold. However, the RIDER is the element that crashes in the cold. I've run plenty of laps around that track in about every condition. I've turned lap times in sub 40 degree temps faster than some in 80 degrees and "perfect". Take caution, be smooth, nothing erratic and treat like riding in the rain for example and you'll be fine. The weather today at 65 and sunny with the next couple of days similar will help. The frost level is still high. But ANY track this weekend is going to be dusty and somewhat "slick". Bit I've never seen a single soul crash vertical at 25mph in the morning. If so, they would have crashed if in perfect conditions.
  10. Not true. Depends on the car. Indy car? Yes. Stock based cars even with slicks? Not usually. We look at the times of the cars and even when they run the non keyhole, they run similar 600 times... And the track record isn't a :53...
  11. Welcome. Several friends from up that way. Our corporate office is in Cupertino and have ridden quite a few roads in that area...
  12. Yup. Did a few last year and had a lot of positive responses to it.
  13. Gates typically open around 7. There sometimes is a line, but I think they are allowing camping so, the gates may be open sooner. See ya there Friday and Saturday... Will be teaching the classroom stuff for Intermediate. Basically, teaching you how to try and come to grips with the track. We will talk how to take certain parts of the track and I will be watching from the keyhole, off back straight and carousel through the day and trying to help everyone along.
  14. Van was sold this evening... Trailer is still for sale. Have a guy coming by tomorrow, but still up so far...
  15. Bump for new price. Asking $4000. Has two good tires and needs two replacements. Tires are like $85 full retail. So, $500 off is still a steal.
  16. Just a note. $5500 for the van excludes the bench seats and wheels/tires. We can negotiate if needed and maybe I will bend, but that's rock bottom. Been offered $5k all day and almost too frequently so, $5500 should be an easy sell. The trailer at $4000 will include two good tires and two that need replaced. Tires are at full pop, $85 each. So, still a good deal.
  17. My fingers are double crossed for one I found and I know the owner. I don't want to jinx it because it is too sweet a deal and i have horrible luck... Probably jinxed it just replying...
  18. I am willing to do $9500 for everything. That price excludes the bench seats other than the one pictured which WILL be included. Also excludes what was mentioned in the trailer description. If breaking it down, $5500 for the van. $4000 for the trailer. That's it.
  19. I have a set of brake lines that were custom ordered for my 1199 racebike. These are going to mount behind the fork tubes like stock. However, we wanted to run them in front and these are too short. Minimal use. Like new. Black line with black fittings. NOTE: The packaging says Black/Red. These were the new, longer ones and we just put the black/black ones in the packaging. I have the original packaging if it matters to you. Everything is included and you can slap these babies on. May fit other brands and possibly other ducatis. Asking $75 shipped.
  20. This is an awesome Suomy Vandal made for KTM. It has never been worn and only has the bag. I lost the box and did try it on for fit. The idea was that I was going to do a photo shoot and had the helmet and we used another one... So, tried on, but never used... The KTM logos are pretty small and this is a helmet that looks SOOOOO much better in person. Metallic in the white and the graphics are nice also. SIZE MD. Comes as you see. It is a snug fit, but I wear a MD in every helmet and this is the tightest, but fits great. Asking $200.
  21. Black and White Ducati Dianese jacket still available for $275. This is like new!
