Not sure. I am slated to be at Northern Ohio Ducati next Friday. Probably be afternoon...
-
Yes. Shells are the same size for Medium and Large. Pads make them fit to be a Large or Medium...
-
Updated and PM responded to. BUT!!! I have BRAND NEW IN THE BAG, Size LG Cheek pads, crown pads and helmet strap covers. Essentially BRAND NEW interior for a LG. No additional charge! Pick and win!
-
JUST NOTED IN THE RESPONSE I MADE, BUT I ALSO HAVE A COMPLETE SET OF PADS (CHEEK, CROWN AND STRAP SET) FOR A SIZE LG! SO, THESE ARE EITHER MD OR LG! So, I have really two Bell Carbon Star helmets for sale. I really only want to sell the one so, pics for it. The other is pretty easy to figure out... BOTH ARE SIZE MEDIUM (SEE NOTE ABOVE)! The one I want to really sell is the Bell Star Carbon Hess. It was new in 2012 and wore it racing the RC8R. This thing really means a lot to me and I am somewhat hesitant to sell it, but I try and not keep too many lids around for the office. The helmet is the carbon shell and will come with a dark tear off shield and a new clear shield. Has the original bag and is in 8 out of 10 in terms of condition. Only reason it gets an 8 vs. 9 (I say 10 is brand new) is because of a scar on the back area near the diffuser. Never been crashed, but got it from what I remember came when at Putnam and putting the ramp inside the van and snagged it. Small portion of the spoiler took a little scab also. Really just minimal and you probably wouldn't have even noticed had I not mentioned it. Also a small knick in the intake vent on the upper rider's left. Typical from stone chips. Other than that, the thing is minty. Decals easily come off and I can remove if desired, but I usually let you do that. I am pretty lazy... The retail is $649 and Ebay sales show $449 from what I can find. I'd sell for $250. That's pretty damn fair, I think... It is the one with the RedBull decals. The second one is a plain Matte Black Star Carbon. I didn't take a pic because it is in a bag in the closet. I got this one last season and have a few track days and maybe a race on it. Was worn a lot less than the one I favor... But, it has decals and will be plain Jane if purchased. I am asking $350 for it. Same deal. Dark smoke shield and new clear shield. Whichever sells first, the other is being kept. I am through almost every part of Ohio for work so, I can meet to save shipping.

I have three jackets for sale. Simply put, these are quality and great jackets, but one is too big and the other is not what I prefer to wear when riding. The SHIFT jacket is perfect, but looking to sell to maintain something different. I bought a new jacket that I love and fits perfect and am passing these along since I cannot return them... As you most know, I sell some stuff that is in great shape. These are no exception. The first is the Ducati Corse leather jacket circa 2012. SOLD!!! The second jacket is as equally perfect. It is also a Dainese made jacket and is described as a Diavel jacket. However, as some of you may remember from my Hyperstrada posts, I wore this during that weekend and the jacket is perfect for a more upright seating position. I also have worn it on a sportbike and is fine for that also. Just a little more loosely cut as it is meant for a more relaxed body position. This jacket fits me rather well. I wore it a couple of times out in CA on the Hyper ride as well with my Diavel when I had it. I may keep this one as I now have a Hyperstrada demo, but not sure. Depends if the third jacket sells first. If I sell the SHIFT jacket first, I will keep this one... It's a great jacket. 2012 jacket also... Details: SIZE 54/44 -Cowhide leather: 1- 1.1mm. -Inner fixed liner and removable thermal liner. -Armor - integrated CE armor at shoulders and elbows. -Adjustable waist fastener. -Inner pocket and 2 external pockets. NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE AMG JACKET OFFERED BY DUCATI. It is exactly the same, but just does not include the AMG embossed logo on the chest panel. These are somewhat hard to find also... Ebay prices are all over, but the lowest I found was $459. Selling for $300. Again, nobody would be able to tell you bought it used. Nothing wrong whatsoever with this jacket. Pics attached: Final jacket is my SHIFT Octane jacket. GREAT jacket and by far one of my most favorite ever. I've worn this more than once obviously, but you can tell I've taken care of it. No tears, blemishes or anything that shows it is worn. Always treated and cleaned. I don't even think you can find a remainder of a single bug gut anywhere! These are thick and super protective jackets and I really hate to sell, but I cannot wear it much due to not sponsored anymore and that it is not a Ducati jacket so, if it sells, I keep the BLW jacket. If the BLW jacket sells, I am keeping this one. Size 54 and fits perfect. Great sportbike jacket as well as any riding jacket. I have worn this on sportbikes, my Diavel, and a few upright bikes. Great feel and has great cooling. Comes with a heavier quilted liner also. Details: SIZE 54/44 or LARGE as noted on the tag. -1.2-1.4mm premium grain leather -Articulated aggressive race design for superior comfort -KorMax stretch aramid panels for flexibility and abrasion resistance -Leather accordion panels in key flex areas for unrestricted movement -Full-length and short connection zippers for attachment to compatible Shift pants -Removable/washable quilted full-sleeve liner -Custom ergonomic zipper pulls and snaps for ease of use -Semi-auto lock zippers in forearms to retain strength and closure in the event of a crash -Perforated neoprene panels inset within collar for greater comfort and flexibility -Ballistic nylon panel inset within the front base of the jacket to allow it to fold for the rider when in the articulated attack position -Removable CE approved shoulder and elbow armor -Integrated memory foam back padding for added protection -Reflective piping for added visibility -Integrated pocket for a back protector The sizing says Large and I wear a 54 for reference. Fits great. Asking $200... Pics attached:

I am selling my back up suit. It is an AGV Laguna and a really great suit. All the graphics come right off so, if you ride a KTM, you are set. If not, you can pull the stitching and easily have it look fine. Several of my suits I've sold have been fine after removing the names and such. I am thinking $350. It has been down during a lowside on my right. The shoulder puck has a small dent and very typical. The leather is not ripped and not seams compromised. Will be a great suit for anyone doing racing or track days. PM me for any further info and I can send more high res images or discuss. Check out AGV's site for details. I am 6'1" and was 195lbs when I owned it and it fit perfect. That is with a back brace and chest protector. Suit size is Men's 56. I usually wear a 54 and AGVs run small. Pics:

I wanted to express a few things regarding Commonwealth. I want it to be made perfectly clear that I was by no means trying to persuade anyone to go to one dealer over another. I feel that Commonwealth is one of the best dealers I have had WORK ON MY BIKE. As you all may remember, I was having some issues with mapping on my 1199. I was directed by several top and credible people to go to Commonwealth and talk to Ed and Chad. Ed the owner had told me to come down and they literally dropped everything to assist my needs. I am VERY picky as to who works on my bikes and left the dealership impressed and above all, confident of work well done. Chad is the man when it comes to servicing bikes no matter if basic knowledge or top racecraft work. They can do it all and do it VERY well. Again, I want everyone to understand that if you are considering Commonwealth for servicing your bike or in fact ANYTHING to do with the business they have down there, they are top notch and are some of the best people in this industry. I would recommend them all day long with 100% confidence in them taking care of your needs no matter how technical or advanced. I was treated great and Chad did above and beyond what I had asked and my bike ended up being a ripper due to his work and attention to detail. I say this because they in fact are a dealership I would highly recommend. Again, never meant to promote one dealer over another nor would I suggest one dealer more important or better at something than another. These guys are more than capable and very good at what they do. Please consider them for ANY of your motorcycle related needs.

I am not serious enough anymore to have a crew with me on a regular basis. But, I do always seem to have either my oldest boy or my youngin. This year, the little guy was at an age where we felt he could be with us without concern of running crazy or getting into something and getting hurt. He's three years old and is about the age my oldest started coming to the track. He is my boy through and through. Wants to be around this stuff and it makes my heart glow. Here at the start of the year at Putnam Park for a track day, he is giving me the fist bump as I do with my oldest...

I'm not capable of entering the contest obviously, but here are two for me. We are always racing with intensity. There are times, however when we have fun. We are after all, amongst our peers and those we trust to lean a motorcycle on top of at speed. Respect in this sport means a lot more than I think people believe... This picture with Chimi says a lot. We are about to go out for our race and we were sitting there joking. When we gridded up and shields down, it was serious business...

UPDATED!!!! WHY LIMIT THIS TO JUST DUCATI RIDERS AND OWNERS? ANYONE CAN PARTICIPATE. WELCOME ALL BRANDS AND ALL PICS THAT FIT... So, the trivia contest was too fast and didn't have the impact I was hoping for. Here comes a picture contest!!! FREE SET OF TICKETS SET #1: Take a picture that you feel is the best at representing Ducati OR ANY BRAND and what it means to you. Can be funny, also. CRITERIA: MUST be a picture you took. Cannot be a Google image search and then posted. Has to be original and tells a story. I want something where it means something to you and is shared with us all. I will pick the best three I feel represents MOTORCYCLING and the brand or passion of its riders. THEN... Then I leave it to the masses and will have them vote as to which is the best. After 5 days of voting, a winner will be chosen and tickets won! FREE SET OF TICKETS SET #2: Funny stuff. I want corny, I want silly, I want even emotional but is out of the ordinary. I want something that is something fun for you to do. Get creative. We did a deal where we had an Airbike Contest and got a lot of results. Not looking for that in depth, but want it to be fun. I WILL GIVE IT UNTIL WEDNESDAY TO ENTER PICTURES AND THEN PROVIDE A POLL... Some examples:

Ducati Trivia. Win a pair of IMS tickets to Cleveland...
Moto-Brian replied to Moto-Brian's topic in Dumpster
I got two winners of sorts... Magz got everything but the engine configuration. He didn't get it wrong, but didn't list it. I am giving him QTY (1) free ticket. Baptizo got everything correct. So, he will be getting QTY (2) passes. Magz and Baptizo - please PM me your addresses and I will send them off. I need to make things harder... hmmmmmm... -
So, did something last year where I did a set of tickets for someone to the Cleveland IMS show. This year, we are going to use trivia... First person to answer BOTH questions correctly will win the pair of tickets for one day at the show. I might be getting some more so, we might do additional ones as well... Question #1: In the early 60s, Ducati had some different models available. Arguably one of the sportiest models during that time, was named after a girl. Name the bike model and engine size. Question #2: Although racing was always at the front of Ducati's mind, they also developed prototype machines for such things as Police use. Can you name the model and the engine configuration as well as size for a prototype Police bike developed in the early 60s? Only answer if you wish to get the tickets. That way, someone actually is getting them for use vs. just answering... Probably not the toughest questions, but should be fun. Winner will receive a PM and details for tickets. Cheers, Brian

So, here are my Craigslist ads. I will give an OR discount. Call it about a 25% discount. In terms of the package price. I'd let the complete set #1 go for $150 to an OR member. $145 for Set #2 and pretty much the same disco on the misc parts. I can delete the link if that is needed for the rules, but it is easier to post a link and have you comment here or via PM... I am through Columbus regularly and Cleveland also. So, I can save shipping... Set #1: http://columbus.craigslist.org/mpo/4212506866.html Set #2: http://columbus.craigslist.org/mpo/4212550413.html Misc plastics, seat, tank, etc: http://columbus.craigslist.org/mpo/4212574697.html

So, I have about 4 sets of complete plastics for 2000 and older XR100s. Instead of killing bandwidth and wasting everyone's time, I will post an example and if anyone is interested, let me know and I will post pics. I have stuff from really great shape (All my stuff is about 1998 era) to some that are browning and torn seats, etc... I am willing to sell in pieces, but would love to sell in sets. Here's an example of "set #1":
