Why is it his loss? I know you like Mid-O, Rusty and I know that it is close, but come on, man... Guy wants to ride a new track - cut him a break. I understand the band wagon fans on here like C7fx and now Brandon (Who used to always have bad things to say about Mid-O until now) but, you? I expected a little more. We will know this week on BG and if he still has a chance to do Mid-O, that's great.

SHIFT makes a GREAT riding jean called the Torque and one called the Low Down. The Torque is $99.99 and the Low Down is $79.99. They have beat AStar and Icon in a head to head through a few publications, but the cool thing is that yes, they have Kevlar in the seat and knees like everyone, but they look like casual jeans. They are double stitched and reinforced where needed. The difference in the jeans is that the Torque has a few added things like a button rear pocket, wiskered or "distressed" work throughout, and has some patch work. BOTH jeans are the same denim and the same thickness everywhere. One is just a little more "fancy"... Yes, pretty much all the crew we had as an escentric crew will be now running out of BG. Guys like Tim O'Toole, Steve Duteil, Mike Graham, Chris McVay, Jason Midlam, etc. etc. We will also have a few guys and gals from our upper Midwest Crew joining in. We are planning on a high ratio of staff to customer since it is a new track and we want to give as much one on one as we can. Monte is flying in, too. We have some really cool things planned including a HUGE professional BBQ and possibly some things that are considered explosive...

Yup, BMW is doing yet another event up at Grattan on the 27th of the month (Sunday). Hopefully, I can sneak a ride on that thing this time!

Have fun. We've sent guys out while enduranc eracing on GP shift set-up bikes with them being used to Standard shifting. I always tell them the same thing - "You'll screw up once. After that, you'll figure it out." Of course, it is somewhat nerve racking to hear a guy shift and the bike immediately hit the rev limter under acceleration... Good luck and be safe. I got a shop in Ashland, KY with NO PREP AND NO FREIGHT doing them at $7299. You pay tax and license fees... Shop is Ashland Cycle Center. Give them a hollar! Sure other shops are doing the same thing. Honda has a rebate deal going, I believe...

Boy, Honda went all out and essentially just took a BMW and replaced the badges... Wow... For a company that should be so independant of what others do, they sure fell short on the design of the bike. Don't get me wrong, still kinda cool, but BMW has got to be happy to think that they MUST be doing something right as to have Honda copy an overall look...

Yeah, sorry 'bout the name change, guys. Still the same guy - just easier hopefully for newbies wanting info, etc. We are going to be doing some fun things for sure with you all. We have some creative ideas in the works. The down side is that the season is almost over, but we are thinking of doing some fun stuff I think you will enjoy and that can be used in 2010. Just a side note to all this - My comment to Flounder was due to the fact that he IS A FRIEND!
