  1. These are NOT Q3s. These are the race DOTs as sold only through Dunlop Race Tire vendors at the track or online. They are used of course but a lot of life left and a great choice for a trackday person. They are for the 600 bikes but may fit others. Sizes are: Front DOT in 8477 compound QTY (2) 120/70/17 Rear DOT in 8477 compound QTY (2) 190/60/17 Asking $350 for the two sets. That's $175 a set... They are new $359 plus shipping per set... Pictures upon request. I will be at Putnam this Sunday with the Indy Ducati boys and can bring along. Let me know!!
  2. $2200 if I deliver to you. $2100 you come get it. I paid about $3200 for this thing. Again, when I say like new, it is literally almost showroom condition. 3. Alrighty... BOTH BOOTS FOR $350. Buy both sets and use the red ones for street and the gorgeous white ones for track. Share with your friends. Keep a spare in your car to look baller. Whatever you desire. BUY!! ORRRRR... Buy the Ducati red pair for $200 and get two pairs of free gauntlet gloves. One pair is a set of Ducati gloves barely used. I think I wore them once for a ride we had. The second pair is a BRAND NEW set of Fieldsheer race gloves with stingray protection. BOTH SIZE LG.
  4. So, selling some stuff to clear the herd. I have my custom Arsenal Leatherworks race suit. Basically a size 54/44 for those of you looking in that range. This would have cost over $1600 to have made. But, selling for $600 OBO. Buy the suit and get a set of like new Arsenal race gloves for free. (At $600 asking price)... I did have a lowside on a Diavel at Mid-Ohio. Got the butt panel, hip, knee and back of forearm. Not bad at all. Held up nicely. Just has pavement scuffing. Some of the printing is wearing off slightly, but this is a great quality suit. Can easily have a panel made to cover my name if desired. Pics: Next up, a BRAND NEW Speed and Strength Triple Crown track suit. I'd call this a track suit vs. a full on race suit. I have the Twist of Fate and it is a race suit. But, this is brand new and never worn. Size 55/44. These are on sale everywhere at $300. I will ask $250 as I am in columbus and you can get it today. $250 is a steal... I can take an actual pic if needed, but here is a stock photo: Ducati Dianese street leather jacket. Size 54. Asking $200 Finally, a BRAND NEW leather classic style jacket from Triumph. This is the Endsleigh Jacket. These are pretty much sold out everywhere and those that are being sold are huge or out of stock. Pretty rad jacket with Knox armor. Asking $150. This says Size MD. However... I am 6'1" and it fits me perfect. Triumph Jackets are slightly smaller than they fit. Meaning, you are a LG in everything else? Buy a MD jacket... Pics: I also have the two sets of boots in another thread. I am getting aggressive with those so, check em out!
  5. I bought this Scale 710 in Spring of last year. Has less than 200 miles on it and is like new. Specs: 2015 Scott Scale Carbon -Size LG -XT component group front to back -Syncros component set like posts, bars, wheelset, etc. -Rocket Ron tires like new -Renthal grips -Fox 32 Float with CTD Basically, this is the top shelf carbon frame with the SDS system as seen in the full on racer frames. Absolutely the lightest bike I've owned out of the box. The 27.5 wheels are FAST and make you a believer in that wheel size over the 29er. In fact, I am getting a full suspended 27.5 from selling this one. And the only reason I am selling is because I want an all mountain bike with full suspension. Call me silly. But this is a razor in the woods. Carves fast and handles great. Was a little too quick at times and I would have some front end issues, but I adapted and can typically beat my fastest times on set trails where I was riding a 29er. There are ZERO scuffs, cracks or any form of damage to the frame. Does have a small knick as seen in the attached pics. About the size of a pencil tip. It does have a crank end scuff which is very typical on about every used MTB bike I have ever seen but this is barely there. Again, noted in a pic attached. I take pretty damn good care of my stuff. Many say I am anal about my bikes and motorcycles. The pics are from spring cleaning to get it ready to ride. I clean and lube everything and wax the frame as well. It will be this spotless for the new owner... Online, I found it to be about $2800 and change as the cheapest out there. These are fairly rare and you hardly ever see them for sale. If you do, they have loads of miles and probably several scuffs. I am not interested in a trade unless you have a full suspended and newer bike. I am specifically looking all mountain or enduro. Will entertain other full suspended bikes out there. And I know in some cases there will be my bike and cash on my end for what I am looking for. Located in Columbus but travel all over for work. Can easily meet or deliver. Bike will have all manuals and any left over parts as spares such as brand new Syncros red and black grips that I never installed. Things like that... PEDALS WILL NOT BE INCLUDED. Asking $2500 because I know everyone will negotiate and for $311 less than online, you can have it now and like new. Nobody would ever know you didn't buy it new. Trust me - it's that clean! Now the pics:
  6. I understand you don't like me. And I personally could care less. But, do you see anything I said in countering that was wrong? I'm out. See you guys at the track. Another example of why I just stay away anymore...
  7. The difference in 1+ seconds could easily be the straights in that scenario... If you ran a 1:45 and passing them in the tight stuff, they could have reeled you back in and got an additional second. GPS is the best and most accurate. The Transponders we use are really good also. I think the majority of what is being said here is correct. Never a second off in my experience...
  8. Uh, I can prove to you that I can easily run sub 1:40 times in below 40 degrees... You are welcome to challenge that, but I've done it and it happened. But I apparently am just trying to stir shit. Not sure what happened where you got a little faster and now are the champion opinion leader. Rusty is actually dead one and if you are just being sarcastic, cool. But I can attest that we can survive the deadly surface that everyone has been brainwashed to think is like riding on oil. Is it optimal? No. Didn't say it was. But what you describe and what others do makes me pissed. The track is slicker cold than warm. True. Is it like ice? No. Throttle control and keeping a strong head will net fine results and actually teach you something. Car events such as Indy and IMSA and NASCAR. Not all the cars... The Indy and related weekends lay heavy rubber down. But again, it is tolerable. Not optimal, but can be ran on. But you know it all apparently so, we will listen to what you have to say. Not much scares the shit out of me. What scares me is that people on here throwing out shit advice. 14 days on a tire wasn't terrible at your pace. But it could be at a different pace or someone with different ability. Why say things like that when you know damn well that people that are green to this sport tend to take things literally. Be cautious like Twisted stated and mention that tires are cheap insurance. It doesn't support someone running a tire because one guy said he can get so many days out of a set. Hell, I have ridden in an endurance race to where we had cords showing on the rear tire. It can be done. But would I recommend it? Think... No drama. Just facts and reality. I don't like mixing shit up online anymore. You can win the e-battle. I am out. I am just saying that there are a lot of experienced guys on here and if the guy wants info, see us at the track and ask away. Don't rely on the internet to give you answers to a hobby where a small mistake can lead to a 6 foot deep dirt nap. Street tires will fade. But again, Q2s we ran on RC8Rs were fine to run 1:37-ish times easily. Fronts stuck well and that was after three groups running 20 bikes all day in all sessions. Heat cycled to the max and we would get 1-2 full days on sets. I rode random bikes that felt the best and even some that didn't. I never had issues. Did they get greasy with speed and heat? Sure. All street platform tires do. But they are predictable. Just have to learn what to feel for. Does that mean they feel the same for everyone? No. Suspension setup could be jacked, could be off, could be wonderful. Rider ability comes into play. But the bottom line is that today's street tire such as from Pirelli, Dunlop and Michelin (I haven't rode a street Michelin for about 6-7 years) are really good. I rode a stock set of OEM Pirellis on my 675R the first time at the track to get a feel and setup and they were actually really good. Some may disagree. I don't care. I can only tell you from my experience...
  9. Speaking of batteries... Has a Shorai and the oem one...

I think asking $13,500 for it all is a really fair starting point. Does come with a 2 year warranty that started around June of 2015.
  11. Rusty is correct. You will lose heat in a race tire unless you have the pace. It's simple... You are not scrubbing the tire enough to maintain the heat. Think about this - it is 40 degrees out and you are running on a fully heated race tire. You run a 20 minute session at :39-:40 pace. Heat in the tire is lost... Also, if you run out there and the set is fully warmed and you get stuck in traffic, the tires will cool and the feel is changed and you will need a bit of time to get to pace where the heat comes back. If heat wasn't an issue for grip, why have warmers for race compound tires? You don't run a fast enough pace and the tire will lose heat which can lose grip or become what some describe as slippery or moves under you. Especially in 7 and the keyhole and carousel... Bottom line is this. A load of crazy info here. Best bet at the pace of :40 plus and wanting longevity on a 600, get a set of Q3s and be done. This whole deal of guys saying they get forever on sets of tires scares the shit out of me. But what do I know? I know I don't cycle my tires that often and feel that the cost of tires are relative to my pace. I will buy good tires to run a faster pace and maintain my ability to push and work on my setup and segment times. You can try and squeeze time out of tires, but honestly is it worth the risk?
  12. 1:30 you won't get 5 days. 1:39, maybe. If you are between 1:30-1:34, forget it.
  13. The issue is simple. You can get killed walking across the street in a quiet town and not get a scratch crossing the street between taxis in NY City. There's risk in EVERYTHING you do. Is it higher on the big tracks vs small tracks? Don't really know. There aren't as many small track racing orgs as track days and race orgs for the big bikes so I don't know the math to say I am an expert. I have been doing it a long time and the number of deaths and airlifts I have witnessed have been too many on big courses. I have raced and played on small bikes and tracks and have seen some injuries also. But, you apparently know, so we will say you're the expert and everyone should dismiss big bike racing and track days and sell their bikes and buy XR100s. Sounds like a plan. I have two for sale. Any takers? The point is this... Racing is fun. Track days are fun. Small bikes are a blast and the racing is tight and exciting. But example the fun and excitement of your racing and your org without the side jabs to our sport. Please? I know you've done big bikes for a short stint and am proud that you gave it a shot. But don't use metrics like cost and danger vs big racing and big bikes to promote your series. You're the VP. You have an image... Also consider that you need to promote getting the big bike guys to buy and come down to race and ride. Get the perception of what we feel towards the smaller bike guys fixed and don't add salt to wounds by saying big bikes are so dangerous and helicopters are a norm. Think about this... At a typical track day, we see over 100 people and they are riding from 9am until 5pm. In that amount of time and miles covered at a performance level, we have had several days without rolling an EMS unit and even more days where we never had a bird called in. There are days that we do. Don't get me wrong. I've watched a friend die in front of me at the track. I've watched friends get seriously hurt. I've been hurt. But I also have seen some crazy crashes at the go kart tracks and even seen some guys get seriously hurt down there. Happens. Big or small. Just focus on the positives. People should come because it is fun. It is obtainable. It is easy to get started and not a lot invested should they not want to do it again. It is a cahnce to include family and have the kids join in. It is also competitive and close racing. Things like that. Keep the big bikes out... Now people understand why our endurance team a while ago was called "The Big Bad Bike Guys"...
  14. He doesn't get it, man. And he's the "VP". Great way to promote... He knows more than we do. He's raced big bikes and apparently saw masses of bodies being trucked out. You hit exactly what I was trying to say...
  15. I think making "big tracks and big bikes" sound scary is a pretty hefty opinion based comment. I have personally seen enough "mistakes of others" on small tracks and small bikes to add a similar opinion. I think it is a great opportunity to an alternative form of racing. Don't go adding anything negative towards big stuff as those of us that have been doing it for years and successfully can say otherwise. I've been doing it for 22years and can say with fact that it is safe and exciting and something that not everyone can do, but has become more and more accessible.
  16. Bump! $200 for the Ducati pair and $250 for the white ones. I am amazed I can't get these sold. I may keep the white pair as a backup, but the Ducati set obviously won't work with racing a Trumpet...
  17. Wonder where the trolls are now? I knew it would go fast. Showed it to Abbs and she liked it a ton. I instantly started checking what we could sell her car for and BOOM! You go and sell it. Great deal for someone. Well... Unless you wanted a Trailblazer I guess.
  18. Why are people throwing jabs at the price? One, miles are nothing. It's in GREAT shape, looks uber clean, has newer tires, a few upgrades and accessories. And if buying a freakin TrailBlazer is better? Great. Buy what my grandma bought and move along. Real motor... Great stuff. I'd buy it for Abby but she wants a Jeep pretty bad. And I doubt you want to trade a Cube towards it. It is a "race" Cube, though... Just sayin! Good luck with the sale. This thing is sweet and super clean.
  19. I have two sets of wheels for sale. These will fit any 5x112. They may need a hubcentric set of spacers, but you can determine that by doing little research. These would look sick on a VW!! First set: 2012 Audi S5 OEM genuine wheels wrapped in 255/35/19 Michelin Pilot SS tires. Will come with the center caps and are in near excellent condition. No curbage and the only thing they have is normal knicks from road debris. Pin sized stuff... Tires are about 9/32 and are in great shape. My favorite tire... Located in the Columbus, OH area. Not afraid to meet and deliver. You all know the specs for these wheels. They are 9x19 and ET35. I can get better pics if needing them. Not sure what is fair as I was going to powder coat these black, but getting a different set of 20" and don't want to keep. Asking $1200 local only. If you want to ship these, it's on your dime. Pics: http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p580/Racelizard10/OEM%20wheels_zpsblmbwthd.jpg[/IMG] http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p580/Racelizard10/IMG_3937_zpskpy6kpfm.jpg[/IMG] Second set is the genuine Audi Winter Package set for the A5/S5. They are the 18" wheels wrapped in the Dunlop Winter Sport tires in 245/40/18. The tires are in good shape. Easily last another season plus. The wheels WERE perfect until this last blast of winter and my son decided to test the curb on the passenger side. Really see it on the one and the other is barely there. The idea was that I wanted to sell or powder coat these. Not really pressed to sell them, but I would really like to do a package deal. Asking $1000 stand alone. Would do $2000 as a package if you take both sets. I think that's pretty fair! Pics: http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p580/Racelizard10/IMG_4036_zpsln4yzmvt.jpg[/IMG] http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p580/Racelizard10/IMG_4035_zpsa3enk6dr.jpg[/IMG] http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p580/Racelizard10/IMG_4038_zpsgeap0cjp.jpg[/IMG] http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p580/Racelizard10/IMG_4033_zpsnf5qq3nw.jpg[/IMG]
  20. If you wish, you can come in and sit in on a Novice classroom session or several and see what we discuss and do. Basically, you can interact as much as you desire and get comfortable in order to take that first step. Ask any of us for help with questions and we will be glad to help you out.
