  1. Yeah, $4 a square foot is stupid cheap. $120 for the banner Satan wants is really good.
  2. I'm still not sure if that is true lesbianism. I need more proof. Anyone? I think I am turning lesbian. Nick should consider it, too...
  3. It can cost as much as you want it to be. In other words, the sky is the limit in terms of cost. I'd say you're close, but remember one thing - Superbike built machines like Emgo's FX bikes, they were race to race. They were rebuilt after every event and a spare motor or more were always on the truck... Hell, even their SS 600s were that way in 04/05...
  4. They're probably OK guys, but Chad Lewin ended up having my engine guy (Reuben Frankenfield - 35 Motorsports) help him out... Not saying anything bad, but Reuben's been around a while and knows a few things... Plus, the listed prices are a tad high...Not bad, but higher...
  5. SOOOOOOO... It was ok for gay love between two girls as long as you were involved, huh? Wonder what the minister guy thinks of you now? Hmmmmmmm....
  6. It's only gay if you like it. Well, that's what Flounder was told by Yota...
  7. Have a 1 piece Teknic suit for sale. Size 44/54. Knee pucks have some slight wear, but wasn't worn much at all. Selling for a buddy and he only did one track day... $600 obo... Pic: And the back:
  8. Flounder is a great example of a squid. Plus, he has a somewhat pointy head so, it may be genetic, too!
  9. I think we need WAY more examples. I am very confused as to what to look for in lesbian love. I mean, homosexual love... I think it is only fair to show more examples so I know what to rent, I mean look for...
  10. So, you going to quit your job then? I mean, do you know how many companies employ gay and lesbians? I mean, if you knew a company had gays and lesbians on their staff, would that mean you won't give your money to them? You need to return the ZX14 you own because Kawasaki has some gays and lesbians on the payroll! I think what I find funniest in all this is the back peddling. You denounce your sister and pretty much support your family's reactions and comments. Now, you say you were only 14 and didn't know better. Now you say to not put it all on you even though YOU are the one making comments. YOU are the one that told us what you and your family did to your own flesh and blood. You then are thankful for people who YOU think support you in these posts. There isn't ONE PERSON on here that can honestly say they support how you treated your sister. Again, it isn't saying you should or shouldn't support this lifestyle or that you are wrong in thinking it isn't right, but when you are publically saying what you say and what you did to your own sister, the way you treat a human being is what we all have issue with...
  11. They can be run for years w/o issues... They will over time drop in power to a point where they really need a refresh. The point is that he can get a KILLER for teh price of a lamb with pretty wool...
  12. Yet you share the same beliefs that they did and what they used in a platform to justify the killing of innocent people. Think about this. Christians were killing people who essentially didn't conform to their way of life. MANY Jews and a TON of Muslims were killed in the name of Christianity. Murdered, actually... That's ok to brush aside or under the rug and you try and not talk about that part of history yet it is ok to refer back to history that suits your needs in an argument. Talking about God and Jesus is OK to refer back to - only the parts of Christianity that is good, right? However, in this statement you state that you didn't want to see Nick bashed for what he believed and yet he is bashing what others believe is somewhat hypocritical, no? Also, saying that gays and lesbians are going to be judged and condemned is pretty much be judgemental on your part - even if it is what your belief system supports... I never said I was a Christian. You are saying you are a Christian... You are judgemental towards my statements and saying that my thoughts are why our society is what it is. Why is it that in YOUR views and under YOUR beliefs that society is damaged? Could it be that your beliefs and feelings are damaged? Is it possible that today we are a smarter and more open society and therefore more caring and more open to helping people as opposed to the ways it was a long time ago. Problem with Christianity is that it is an old world type of system. It hasn't really done a good job of keeping up with our society. You condemning or judging others that are NOT Christians is a symbol of such when especially the ones you judge are not doing it towards you... Again, using things to your side of the argument won't work here. Being gay isn't hurting or violating someone else. Pedophiles, doing things to others against their will, etc is not acceptable in ANY society for the most part. Being gay isn't hurting anyone. It doesn't hurt the other person in the relationship since it is what they wish to do. If I choose to be in a relationship with someone, it is because I enjoy them as a person, I have feelings for them in a positive way, and that I feel I can be with them for as long as I live. I am married to a wonderful woman and think we are perfect together. She feels the same way towards me and therefore, a good relationship. Now, how is that really any different between two same sex people? You think the idea of them being together is wrong. the bible can easily be directed and used to support that all of God's children are loved by him and that he wishes no harm to any of them. Yet, you say he will condemn them to hell if they do not change. I think that's a little opposite of loving them, no? I know, I know... tough love, right? Again, your opinions based on your beliefs. You saying a religion is a religion of denial, that a religion cannot be a religion w/o a single God like your own (which you have never seen nor have any images of what he would appear to be like) is wrong, that any new religions are obviously not legit as they are not as long lasting as your own is wrong. Are you not again being judgemental of others? Think about this: Is Jewish better or worse than being a Catholic? they don't see eye to eye on beliefs (Jesus for example) so, are they a real religion? Or, is being a Catholic not really being a religion? What, because they are such old religions do we consider them valid? Is it not because people who started this country have dictated what beliefs should be? If so, Judaism is older than Christianity so, it should be regarded as best, right? Have we considered the Native American way of beliefs? They don't believe in Jesus, they do ceremonious type get togethers and believe in spirits and how they cleanse the body, how they guide their day to day lives, etc. They don't (or, didn't) believe in one god where Judaism, Islam and Christianity are based on a monotheistic (sp?) point of view. My beliefs are that I am not convinced about Jesus. I'm almost like the Jews in that I think Jesus was a prophet and not the son of God. I believe there is a single God up there pushing buttons and directing traffic and I think that relgions as seen in other countries that even though they are not Christian based, they have one God that reigns supreme and they believe he is the top ranked guy. How is that really different than Catholics, Jews, Lutherns, etc??? They all have one God they see as supreme. What, our way or the highway??? Not sure where anyone was calling names out here. I mean, Nick sorta has had the ball on that aspect, but overall, all we are doing is showing that in today's society, hating someone for their way of life is stupid. I don't hate you or even Nick. i think you are sorta stuck in a belief system that clouds your mind to a degree and that Nick is simply a hater that was brought up in a way that was supported and promoted by his family's religious beliefs. Or, he at least uses that as a crutch to defend his stance... But, after all this, your final comment is why religion becomes hypocritical. If Jesus was the son of God and he stated the following, how can someone be condemned to hell and be damned if they are forgiven?
  13. In fact, I just got off the phone with my engine guy. He does AMA quality engine builds and here's the laudry list of what can happen: -Buy a 2008 R1 for $11700 - that's no negotiating, etc... -Front Ohlins 25mm kit and Ohlins rear shock - $2500 -Forged wheel set - $2000-$2500 depending an what ones you want -Superstock engine build - you roll the entire bike off to him - $1800 nets you about 172-175 rear wheel HP that is dependable - no superbike stuff... -Exhaust and PC unit - $2000+ Total would be $20k. You'd have a sleeper machine that would SMOKE any stock 2008 R1 or any LE bike. Easily. Hell, you can get $1k off that price easily just begotiating and I could probably push you to a dealer that can save you even more. OR, buy a left over 2007 for $1500-$2k less and you'd be even with the price of an LE... I understand the bling factor in the street and track forks (Oh, priced them and I can get them for about $2500) and the fancy wheels, but honestly, they do nothing for you for the money. Keep the stocker wheels and buy the Black and Gold R1 for 08 that has the gold fork tubes (The other colors have the black tubes) and add all the above and you'll be ahead by $2-$4k...
  14. I was wrong on the slipper. Sorry. My point was that the following year it was standard on the same bike essentially. Yes, labor will flex based on who and where you take it. Putting on a rear TTX Ohlins is simple as pie. Doing the 25mm internals is shown as a price that included labor and the cartridge inserts into the OEM forks. My prices on stuff is skewed as I don't pay retail on most things. I have enough connections that I can save at least that amount. I actually can get the wheels cheaper than that... Point is this - you can buy a showroom, everyday, stock 07/08 R1 and add $5k to a bike and still have almost $2k left over in your pocket. Wheels can be installed yourself, rear shock can be done easily yourself, and the forks would come to your door ready to be installed by yourself with WAY better internals in them. In fact, let's say you can't do it all yourself. You can find a guy like me that will do it all for well less than that almost $2k left over amount. You can take me to dinner and pay me for track side set-up of $100. So, for $130, I'll do it all for you and all you have to do is ride it...
  15. Let's turn this around since Nick and Holy Roller state they like women. Do you guys feel heterosexual pornography is fine and acceptable? Just answer that question and I'll go from there...
  16. Maybe you can tell us how you all seem to avoid remembering what you all did "way back when" concerning the killings by the hands of Christians... Did God say it was Ok for you all to support such action back then? Just wondering. I'm a religious guy, too. I have my beliefs and they are based on what I know and what I have learned over the years. I have nothing against religions and their beliefs. In fact, I think each religion has their own beliefs yet are all somewhat based on similar things to show that each area of the world may have a different way to believe in what they do, but they are all similar enough to be legit. I just find it funny when a minister starts in against gays and similar issues when they themselves are part of a religious group that seemingly found it fine to kill anyone who didn't follow in their beliefs. I also think you are right that we all have the right to feel the way we do, but again, in a public forum, that is no way to act. It is ok for Nick to feel the gays and lesbians do NOT have the right to publicly state their claims and position yet it is ok for HIM to publicly state his feelings on the matter. I call that being a hypocrite... He can state what he wants when he wants, but to feel it is ok for himself to say anything and do anything in public because he is "normal" and yet those not following his beliefs have no right to do the same thing?
  17. Guy criticizes another guy's spelling yet his grammar is total shit. Hmmmm.... If we want to become spell check and grammar check police, you're not on the list of people who should be checking... What I also like is the fact that Ninja is really showing his colors (Once again). I mean, his family probably hates the following people because they don't belong or have had the "world handed to them": -Jewish people -African Americans -Polish people -Women in terms of their rights to think freely, vote, etc. -Mexicans (Here legally) -Chinese people The list gets pretty long. Wonder if any Native Americans are on here so they can tell Ninja to get the hell out of their country because he doesn't belong here...? I'm with Kawi on this. I'm not a supporter of their stances, but I also don't hate them for what they are. There are only a small % of those who stand out in crowds and make scenes, only a small % that do the big get togethers and do outlandish things to draw attention. There are PLENTY of those who are normal acting citizens who choose to have a relationship with someone of the same sex. Nick probably can start a whole new thread of people in mixed ethnic relationships, people who cheat on their spouses, etc. Dude, you guys are real works of art. I suppose your religious background has you remembering how the Christians killed hundreds and hundreds of innocent people in the name of "religion"...
  18. Hell, I bet even you will pass me.... On my site lap!
  19. What I am saying is more like slavery vs. murder. Murder and ending a life is wrong and always has been. We're actually more resilient to murder than we were 200 years ago... As far as the old school comment, you pretty much verified it with the whole "We told her we didn't appreciate her kind" response. You don't happen to live in a mobile home, do you? Your attitude is ridiculous. The whole promoting and advertising and such is iffy, but people are people and it shouldn't matter what they prefer that gets judged.
  20. Uh, no matter how shitty a rider is, 160 hp vs. 110 hp is no contest. Rolling start with even a slow reaction will have that R1 eating that 600s dinner...
  21. Buddy got to ride a friend's 1098S with full Termi, ECU, quick shift, GP shift conversion, etc at Putnam. He said it was shit at a slower pace. He was a little nervous to say the least at first. Once he got comfortable, he said it was so good at speed that the faster he went, the better the bike was. I was behind him on shit tires, but even so, down the straights, it was pretty damn quick... I get to ride it at Mid-O... Hehehehehe...
  22. Nah, rode an LE, though and have ridden an 07 (same as 08) recently. The 07s and 08s are pretty damn good. On paper, even, the LE is really a little short in terms of side by side comparos than the 08s... As far as the forks, the forks are what Ohlins calls Street and Track forks. They are by no means a race ready fork even though the perception is that they are. They are a great start, but to make them track ready, you need to pull the guts and replace them. Been on a couple of bikes with Street and Track forks with the guts replaced - nice. The rear is a legit rear shock and outside of maybe the spring rate, it is really track ready. The newer Ohlins rears are better for sure, but the LE's rear is a good rear... The wheels are really just bling. The weight is what is key and they do lessen rotational mass which is always good, but the gains vs. the cost are equal to you going out and taking a good poop before you ride. It really isn't worth the cost. The paint is cool, too and a bit of that helps in the rare department, but overall, it is like back in the days of the YZF1000 (Thundercat). Guys bought those thinking they were the shit and then Yamaha intoduces the R1. Instantly, their bikes were old. Same here. The LE was a way for Yamaha to get out a few cool bikes with some cool bling knowing people would pay for it. However, had they waited, they'd have not only saved a ton of money, they would have got a better machine. You probably have $6-$7k in stuff that isn't on a stock R1, but the fact that the newest R1 is really just shy of having a fancy paint job and cool gold components, it is a better platform. A new R1 is what, $11,700? You can add the newest (and better) Ohlins rear shock for $1200, add a 25mm Ohlins fork kit to the existing stock forks for $1500 and add a wheel set for $2k and you'd be ahead of ANY LE easily. The stock R1 for 07/08 included a slipper clutch, as well which doesn't even come on an LE. It's an LE - it should have had a slipper... Basically, the LE was cool. For a year. When the 07 came out, it became old instantly. Look, it is a cool bike, for sure. Maybe to a collector it is worth the asking price, but honestly, save the money, go down to your local dealer and haggle over an 08. Hell, I can get you to a dealer that will sell one for $500 over dealer w/o haggling. You could probably get it cheaper... That's a HUGE savings over what you'd get with an LE. If the color is what is selling you, buy the plastic that is the Fiat replica colorway. That's more rare around these parts... I'll do your shock, forks and wheels for little labor cost and you'll have an LE smoking machine... Hell, I'll offer to help you get it setup at a track day (You ride it - I'll tune for you)...
  23. Where is the problem? Not sure what is wrong with me, but if you were to poll a grouping of people, not many really care about gays and lesbians. If the people like yourself are getting all wound up over it, you're either older or have some small town beliefs that are unfounded. Dude, you're from the Cincy area - Cincy is like the 2nd largest gay populated town in the country. Shouldn't you be used to it?
  24. Being against gay and lesbian groups is pretty old school nowadays. I mean, I understand my dad and grandparents feeling the way they do about gays and such, but man, today, it is really no big deal. I have a few gay friends and really, you need to rethink your stance... You can feel against that lifestyle and maybe even support things against what they do at times, but really, they aren't doing anything different than two opposite sex people do. If you aren't offended by two people of the opposite sex being together, why is it so bad that two people of the same sex that feel the same way about each other are together? Old school, man. Old school...
