Wow. Spoken like a true enthusiast... Your reading comprehension skills are apparently poor. Too bad, really. Not sure at what point you came up with wrong info to support your stance, but nobody said anything about handling except you. They don't handle the same. That was the response to your comments. Simple enough? Now, before you pull the track crap again, try and look at this with open eyes. I stated the Busa doesn't handle as well as a 600. Kawi said he agreed, Dweezel said the same thing, and others. Where does the track crap play in all this? Glad you ride dirt. What, I suspect you're an "A" rider in that, too, huh? You're a trip. I'll PM Todd and have him take a look see. He's been awful quiet lately... That will be fun. Then you'll have two "Ignorant fucks" as you call us arguing with you. What, are you in third grade or something? Let's start calling you Ninja"F Bomb"Nick.... Can't wait until Flounder gets back from Brazil. He'll have a good time with this...

Make sure you use both hands. One being stronger than the other isn't ever good!!

Dude, that Edwards replica is BADASS!! Nice lid! Great choice of boots and protective gear. Nice to see guys getting the right stuff!

Dude, are you Bi-Polar? What the hell? You PM me with your phone number and say to call so we can talk about my worthless "arguement". Now, you think I am throwing a fit because I don't want to call you? What would be gained from calling a guy who thinks my responses are worthless? You going to tell me in person? As far as choices go, I gave legit feedback to the guy. I even stated after what HE said that he is probably making a good choice. Where was any of my responses to Dweezel unfair or incorrect? You're the one that thinks a Busa handles as good as a 600. The only one, by the way viewing from the responses. But I'm the dick... Get the fuck off the track comebacks. I ride both street and track - I just focus more on track. You ride MX? How about Supermoto? Maybe even Flat Track? I've done and do all those forms of riding. So, what exactly is your point? Jesus.
-
Uh, no phone calls coming from me. From your PM, I don't think it is in my best interest to call you. I'll jump outta here and leave it to the Busa guys. Sorry you think my responses are worthless...

You don't smack talk?? "You will not pull away from me or pass me. Bring it old man." Hmmm... Sounds like a throw down... You stated "but the road is a all new ball game." which was implying that you could keep up on the street and maybe even beat me... What I was trying to let you understand (you didn't get it...) is that a track day guy who rides the street will be faster than a guy who hasn't been to the track and rides the street. You don't do track days and yet ride the street. You're not as fast and controlled as you could be... Again, you don't get it. You said "waste my money there"... Wow... It's a waste of money to get better as a rider... It isn't about who is the fastest track guy - it's who has the most tools to draw from. A guy with track day experience is going to have a higher skill level. You riding at 80% on the street is comparable to a track guy going maybe 60% to his ability. If he steps up to 80%, you're WAY over your head. What you think is crazy and stupid speed on the street isn't crazy/stupid to someone with a higher level of ability... But, you sound as if you know everything and are the baddest street guy around. You win. You get the badass MOFO trophy... Ok, so you're not throwing down. You're not swinging the ol' wiener out and saying you're the big cheese on campus... What's this all about then? Dude, I can guarantee you can't block and stuff me to the point I'm going to get screwed. Plus, if you ride like that (You THINK you can ride like that), you'll get it in return. Actually, I wouldn't want to get close to you if you think you can pull that shit off. I'll tell ya what, when was the last time you were leaning over ON TOP of another guy while ripping through a corner? Know how many times I have been stuffed? How many times I have STUFFED other guys? You aren't going to pull anything new out of your hat that's going to shock me. Plus, if you have to block and stuff to stay ahead, it says you suck and you can't keep someone behind you legitimately. Dude, you really are a card. You think somehow the street is your arena. No wonder you don't ride with a group - who'd trust a windbag that stuffs and blocks to stay ahead and then brags how fast he is on the street. You've wasted enough of my time and clearly shown to a LOT of us on here where you stand as far as a rider. Hell, Kawi Kid was on your side right up until #4. True colors always shine through... You backpeddled like I figured when a legit challenge was proposed. Too often everyone's tough until it comes time to prove it. Oh, well... If you want to try, shoot me a line and we can meet. We'll each need to bring a friend as in case you pull some stupid shit like a punt and run move, but overall, it'll be of great use to you to have a friend along to drive you home... You know, when you hand your title over. WAIT!! Let's just do money. How's $1k sound? That's fair, huh? Cheaper too and you can keep the couch... If not, quit with the comments about how fast you are and how you'd keep up, blah, blah, blah... Now, if you can swallow a little pride and actually be a little bit open minded, I'd be glad to help you out if you should decide to NOT waste your money and come up to Mid-Ohio for a day. We can get you comfortable on your steed and even help you get it set-up to be a better handling machine. All you need to do is accept and show. I won't bust your balls, I won't call you names, and I won't even make snide comments. If you come, it makes me feel as if you want to learn and that's what I am always wanting of EVERY rider here... That's no BS, either...
-
Oh, I am far from annoyed. Trust me. I deal with a lot more than what you are dishing out... I'm in Dayton/Cincy every other week so I know where it is and all... I think it is funny you can talk smack, but when a legit challenge is thrown your way, you puss out. Typical... I bet you are the fastest talking guy in your group of riders. "Man, I killed it out there today. I was spinning my rear wheel out of every corner..." Just a note... I can take a street rider and put him out in a track day and work with him for a day and he'll be a MUCH better street rider because of it. Don't confuse the ability to ride street as being a great platform for riding the track. Now, riding the track and taking that info to the street is something that is happening all the time. Take Yota. I can guarantee he's a street better rider after track days than he was without... You need to get the big picture. I like how you get all huffy over track talk yet you think you can own the street.
-
Oh, and I might be old, but it is like getting beat by a girl... You'd get your ass handed to you by an old dude. Sad, huh? I mean if it were a young gun with mad skills, it can be acceptable. But a crusty old guy who doesn't ride street anymore? I'd chop my head off...

RIIIIIIIGHT..... Anytime. It's kinda funny how you say that the 636 can be thrown around much quicker and will have faster entry and yet you think that it wouldn't smoke a Busa in or on a similar road? Tell ya what... When time comes and you're ready, type out right here and now that you are willing to run for pink slips. Head to head. My 750 vs. your ZX14 and you can pick the road. I'll get two passes to sort the layout and we'll go nose to tail. I'll let you lead and let's do something at least 10 miles. When we're done, we'll see who gets to the end first. Winner takes the bike, loser takes a friend's car ride home... Let's do this before the end of May. I can get street plastic and be ready pretty quick. Race for titles. Simple enough, right?
-
No worries. I was just thinking it might make a good street lid. It really comes down to preference as MANY riders are wearing 10 plus year old lids which are actually more unsafe than the damaged Flower one I am selling...
-
Hey ass packer... I have probably more street miles than you and have ridden enough street bikes that range from 250cc to 1400 sport tourers like yours. I ride the street. Not the way you and your boyfriends do, but hell, I was out riding in the Fall on a new GSXR1000 trying to figure out a map for the thing. What you get all up tight about is the fact that you think because you had a 600 and now a ZX14 that it makes you an expert on comparing the two. When, in fact, I can guarantee you couldn't ride the 636 to it's potential and you certainly cannot ride that ZX14 as easily as you could a 636. You are showing to be a real ass and almost have me to the point to tell you to find a road you like and I will ask someone to borrow a 600 and point out just how wrong you are. Of course, it would take all of 5 minutes and save me a ton of gas, but hey... Here's the drill. Instead of complaining about all the "racers" on the board and the "track talk" we all do, why not tell us EXACTLY how you can say that the ZX14 Couch you ride is as easy to run through corners as your 636. Detail it out. This should be good. Oh, wait... He won't be able to provide legit examples of how they differ or how the ZX14 is as good... Dude, you need a clue. Maybe check your owner's manual and see if there is a 1-800 number you can call and order one from...

Come on, Yota. I know you wear really tight jeans... When you sit down, the seam splits the nut sack... You know you've experienced that, Disco Man...
-
How 'bout "Vagina blood fart"? "Man, you're a F'ing vagina blood fart... I know, long, but will get the heads a turning if used at the proper moment...

From what you list above, you seem to understand where we are coming from when talking the 600s and the like vs. the Busa and similar. Too often things get distorted when it comes to people's opinions and when I heard "It'll go just as good as any 600", I get a little worried people will believe that. I think the Busa is pretty damn good this year. Honestly, I think in terms of that class, it is the best all round machine. I really like the Copper Orange colorway they have this year and all the refinements put it on top of the class yet again. I don't think you'll go wrong with that choice. Plus, if you go with an older Busa, remember that there are more Busa performance parts available than most other bikes in it's class. Another note along those lines is that if you have issues or questions regarding that machine and/or performance upgrades, etc., more riders have Busas than anything else in that class so it will be easier to get good insight and answers to your questions.

You selling one of your 1000s??? PM me if interested in getting rid of either...

Anyone who says a Busa or ZX14 or similar can hang with any 600,750, or liter bike either doesn't ride at an average to upper level. The bike you are looking at is a great straight line speed machine. However, all that speed gets tossed out the window when it comes to overall prowess that includes twisties. Sure, it'll do well as they are MUCH better than they used to be, but overall, I have seen guys on Goldwings embarrass 600 riders... It's the ability of the rider that makes a bike work or not work. The bike you are looking at is simply a sport tourer. It isn't a sportbike and shouldn't be classed as such. So, aggressive twisty riding isn't it's cup of tea. Does ok, but it is going to be out shined by anything in the sportbike class. This isn't a bash to the sport tourer riders out there, it is simply a response to all these guys who seem to think they are GREAT twisty machines and think they are as good as any 600,750, or 1000. They aren't. Don't go out buying one thinking it is going to do such a thing... I'm with Yota. A 600 is all you'd ever need. There are those that are bigger guys that a 750 and 1000 fit better and even guys that are larger still who fit better on a Busa or similar. We all desire as much power as we can get and if that is what you want, a 1000 is a better choice. Afterall, if you want power and performance, a Busa does one of the two well... A 1000 does them both much easier and with more precision...

I have a custom performance chip I got from Mark Craig and the boys when Western Diesel Performance was around. Mark verified it is a 75-80 to the ground HP plug in chip. It was used on a 1999.5 PSD and a 2000 7.3 PSD with an auto tranny. Mark states it is a low EGT chip, as well... Assume it will work with other 7.3s, but you'd need to ask Mark. You can hit him up by calling or at his website: DIESEL PERFORMANCE PARTS INC. 1-866-455-7788 www.DIESELPERFORMANCEPARTS.COM Have no idea as to where to start on price so, make an offer. If the rules state I need a price for the classified section, call it $150 obo... The printing on the chip is: Hyundai HY29F400BT-90 0015A and the other module is listed as: XILINX XC9572 F1170903A 10C If that means anything... Was a GREAT chip and had GREAT useful power. Really liked it more than any programmer I tried. Always went back to this chip.

The Gunwind is perfect shape. Are you talking about the Flower Spec1R? If so, I'm not wasting the energy to send it out and such. The EPS liner doesn't have any indentations and I suspect it would be a fine street helmet. I wouldn't race in it anymore, but I've raced in worse... Thus, the reason I am willing to let it go cheap. Otherwise, I will scab the parts off it as spares or retire it with my other lids I have that I use in my office... However, the others are all top shelf and have NEVER seen any impacts whether while wearing them or even as simple as fallin off a shelf or falling off the bike, etc...

Forget pills and stretching. You need to work out more. Strengthen your stomach muscles directly helps with your back issues. People with shit backs usually have crappy stomach strength and conditioning... You need to work on your mid section and get better excercise. Stretching ALONG WITH proper excercise is what you need. Stretching alone is like polishing a turd. It's still a turd... No excercise and you'll be doing nothing as your core strength is found in your mid section of your body. Crunches, man. Crunches. Every night before bed and possibly right after you get up...
-
Honestly, there are a PILE of cooler helmets direct with graphics that look as sick or even sicker than any custom helmet... However, if you do something custom, send it to a reputable source and you'll be VERY happy with the quality. Who knows? Maybe they will have your design on a helmet someday!! How cool would that be?

Had a couple of guys interested, but haven't heard since so, these are all still around and I need them gone to pay for the new ones... PM with interest...

There wasn't any question as to if it were an Arai... He was asking if he could get that scheme by buying it... I believe it is custom and not a model available... It's just an RX-7RR painted... Haga never ran a basic Japanese flag design... Well, it was never a replica produced...
-
All my custom helmets had the original logo??? Seen any racer's helmets? They're sponsored, but they run stock logos... Definately not a Haga replica...
-
Arai doesn't show this helmet as available. At least here in the US. Might be a Japanese issued lid, but I think it is simply custom painted...
