Thanks Sinner, I just got the insurance paperwork in the mail yesterday...going to mail it back today and hopefully I'll have a check in a couple weeks.

I've never worn an Icon but I'm sure this helmet has to be quieter. It is still louder than my Shoei TZR but the TZR is one of the quietest out there (probably b/c its fiberglass shell weighs a shit ton). The Shark RSR2 is pretty much the lightest weight full face production helmet out there. My Shoei feels like a boat anchor compared to this helmet...granted my Shoei is an entry-level helmet. I've only ridden for about 45mins with this helmet so I haven't got a good feel for everything but it seems to vent well and the liner is superb. It is made for racing and when you put it on you can tell right away...light weight, very snug fit, DOT minimum on peripheral vision. I thought the lack of of peripheral vision might bother me but I think its going to be a non-factor as I was able to adjust to it quickly.

I'm with the others on this one...you should try to raise the bike up as much as you can. Tip-toeing or using only one foot at stops is not fun but it is better than going down like Cougar described. Maybe you can borrow a lower bike to get more comfortable riding first? Supersports aren't really the best beginner bikes anyways..

The first one is Troy Corser lid and the second is Miguel Duhamel. The colors are washed out in the picture...its a really bright helmet and the colors pop out in the light. I can't decide which design I like more...they are both pretty cool. Yup, I've been wanting a Shark RSR2 for about a year now and I found a killer deal on eBay..had to buy both! The visors are sick thick! I bought a dark tint shield, too!
