+1 The group near my parents doesn't even allow reflectors or battery powered lights on their buggies.. All they have at night are these stupid lanterns you can barely see. My parents are good friends with an Amish family so I have a little bit different perspective on them and their beliefs.

Well, I wasn't the only one whose motorcycle was stolen that night. I was checking out my police report and noticed that a guy one street over from me had his Kawasaki stolen. Not sure of the model but he listed the value at over $9k so it must be pretty new. I'll probably stop over there and talk to him...

Yup, I understand your point. I already called and talked to my insurance agent...so he is aware that it was stolen. He suggested we wait a bit before putting the claim through. Thanks for the transportation offer...I appreciate it. I should be good for a little bit as long as Michele doesn't mind me riding her Kawi around.

Yeah, man...I agree. I'm out of here in about 2-3 weeks and I'll have a nice garage to keep another bike in. Definitely will be putting GPS tracking on the next one...

Thanks for all the replies and for keeping on the lookout. I took a drive through my apt. complex and there are about 15+ other bikes parked outside. I'm gonna make up some fliers when I get a chance and start putting them on ppls bikes so they know to watch out. I'm willing to bet my bike wasn't the only one stolen last night!

No lojack...or gps tracking. Definitely going on my next bike. CPD pretty much said not to get my hopes up and to call the impound lot every few days just in case it gets recovered.
