  1. Good job with the fix...enjoy the nice weather!
  2. You can use alcohol to clean it too. It evaporates quickly so you don't have to worry about the drying time as much. +1 on being able to fix that fairly easily
  3. Yeah, those look pretty nice. I've seen some ones on ebay that look identical to the stock GSXR mirrors...which I really like but they are like $75. I'm just hoping somebody local has a set for a little bit cheaper. Good idea, I didn't think about the WERA forums. Hopefully it will look pretty cool. I can't find any flush mounts that I really like and that would still be really visible...plus I still need mirrors.
  4. I'm looking for some of those GSXR integrated turn signal mirrors....one of you track guys has to have them sitting around in your garage collecting dust.
  5. It depends on the amount of damage. I've seen them any where from about $3k to $5k. Generally the lower end needs things like forks and wheels to be ridable while the upper end needs fairings/gauges....mostly cosmetic stuff. I paid $4k for this one which isn't really a steal for this time of year but I think I got a pretty decent deal.
  6. Thanks man, how are you liking the RR? I was kicking myself in the ass for selling it the next week because I totaled my car and didn't have any transportation...
  7. Here's a new project I picked up on Wednesday: 2007 Honda CBR600rr, salvage title with about 2,800 miles (don't know exact amount since original gauge was busted) Another shot: DAMAGE PICS: Scratched case cover Crushed coolant line And shitty repair job where rearset broke off... I've already ordered most the parts including: Gilles VCR rearsets, Bridgestones, E-racing fairings, windscreen, left headlight, upper fairing stay, ram air tube, and a new radiator hose I still need to get new rotors (these are warped), mirrors, and turn signals.

Nice bike! and welcome to the forum!
  9. That would have been pretty cool. I used to ride with some guys who stunted in their big ass parking lot. It makes a decent drag strip, too.. This would be good if they make it into a racetrack and could bring in a lot of cash for Columbus if they can get NASCAR.

    WTB: Tires

I've got Metzler M3....front and rear. They have maybe 200 miles on them..pretty much like new. They are still mounted until the beginning of next week when I get my new tires in.
  12. NO! I just don't want you ladies corrupting her riding... Perfect!

  14. Gotcha...yeah I'm a little slow....your name makes sense now. I'm just teaching my g/f how to ride now...she'll be happy to hear there are some other female riders in the area.
  15. Nice bike and welcome to the forum! Who's yellow bike is that next to yours?
  16. There are also some good roads out east around the Newark area... specifically 79N to 715.
  17. Yeah I know...I'm just built like a rail.
  18. +1 My skinny ass would be swimming in that jacket..
  19. I haven't tried them but they will be my next tire...only heard good stuff about them.
  20. Is that jacket size 48 Euro/38 US or size 48 US?
