I dunno, just getting bored with it. I took it to too much of a project/performance piece and have not got to really enjoy it. Some of my best times on a boat were on my slow reliable boats. Plus, now that I have a boat with a cabin, I realize a cuddy is what I really want. I will eventually get a boat with a high power V8 again, but this time it will also have a cabin. I will prob not separate. I will let the whole pkg go for a pretty good price though. ALOT less than I have in it. Wanna trade? LOL

Very nice. Did you do bolt ons or anything? It has felt great having mine out finally. Unfortunately, it was short lived. I popped my drive I'm pretty sure. Oh well, back to the cuddy for the rest of the year. When will you be out at Alum next?

I always loved the front end of those Impulses....I just think they could have done so much more with the rest of the body - they don't seem to match. Still, fun little cars though. My buddy used to have one. Nice intro and welcome!

Who all is doing what? I am camping at Alum today through Monday. I will have the cuddy and the Formula there. I probably wont be doing much running due to I'm sure it will be busy as hell. But, I will be out quite a bit. If you see me, come say hi. Text me if you have my number and will be out. I think most people with boats have it, but PM me if you don't have it and want it. I'm all for building what makes you happy....but, If you are going to build that low of a hp BBC, why bother? You will still be flirting on that fine line of popping the alpha. You would be better served to just build a SBC for higher revs. You will make more power and better speed and still be safer with the Alpha (still dangerous territory) than doing the BB. The BB still just makes way too much torque to have the alpha survive. But definitely do what makes you happy. I didn't listen to everyone on my build either. I'm doing what makes me happy. What are your plans for the BB?
