  1. I may have to look into this. Mine has the smaller HD and no HDMI....How long is Game Stop giving that credit? Are they the only ones doing something like this?
  2. I was out, but was in the slow old fart floating section. Made a few passes. I forgot to take the GPS with me today but the speedo read 45ish. I'm guessing a high 30 something boat. Not bad for what it's purpose is.
  3. Cuddy or open bow? 20 foot or 17.5 foot? How much you want to spend? I think I know a guy with a couple extra.... Sounds nice. What type of boat, if you don't mind my asking? I will tell you what too, everybody told me a cabin on anything as small as these is a waste. Wrong. Dead wrong. I was using that cabin for everything today. Now I wish the Formula had a cabin so I didn't have to have 2 boats. I think I will keep this Larson and keep the Formula and sell the VIP. At least until I upgrade to a big boy size. I'm waiting on that until I move to Florida though.
  4. Let me know if you still need them removed.
  5. I took the new boat out for 3 or 4 hours today after the rain quit. Ran great and cruises pretty nice. Jumps up on plane pretty quick too. I will be out on it most of tomorrow at Alum. There were few boats out tonight and I am hoping tomorrow will bring the same. Anybody going to be out tomorrow?
  6. No, they will all work. Two of them are water useable right now. All that is left on the VIP is putting in the carpet then bolting the seats in. The Formula is a different story all together, but that's what happens when you build something to the level I am. I will let you use one when they all do.
  7. I never in a million years would have thought I would have more than 1 much less 3 at one time. It is kind of a cool feeling though. Now I just need to get them all finished. The new one is water ready...just needs some stuff in the interior re-wrapped and the carpet cleaned or maybe replaced. I am taking it out this weekend though for sure. Yeah yeah. The Formula was close (up and running), but a known problem from the beginning with one of my heads for the stroker was never corrected and replaced like I thought it had been. The machine shop has them both back now and I have a new one in hand. Now I just need to find out which one of the old ones was the cracked one. Then reassemble. It will make it out this year, I'm just tired of waiting. Now I can come out on Wednesdays, no speed contender unfortunately, but I can still have some fun.
  8. Yeah I know... I really should just start a boat yard.
  9. I got it last night. In the ongoing saga of finishing up the Formula, I decided I am tired of not going out. The VIP is close to being done, but I want to sell it as soon as it is finished. Plus, with the 1 year old, I wanted something with a small cabin to put him in to get out of the sun or take a nap. It is a 1993 Larson 190 All American. It has the 3.0 4 cylinder Mercruiser with the Alpha One outdrive. It runs great! Need some interior work and CLEANED up bad though. The out side is dirty, but will come back out great. I tested a small area last night and it cleaned up to a awesome gloss. It amazes me how some people let such nice things go to such a shitty shape. Here she is: http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w211/Matt86K5/Larson/P7290019.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w211/Matt86K5/Larson/P7290024.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w211/Matt86K5/Larson/P7300027.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w211/Matt86K5/Larson/lar2.jpg
  10. Hell yeah it is. We are both at least doing cams this winter!! I need more torque! Side note - VROD did 105 hp and 70 (i think) tq at Dyno Brians.
  11. Damn, we are a helpful group. 3 posts all at once. LOL
  12. If you had the end of the hose capped (nozzle), you would only be billed for whatever (if any) leaks out.
  13. Donated. Good Luck! Audion19s - Andy, I hope all is improving for both of you. I told my wife (Radiologist specializing in Mammography) about your wife and she said to let her know if there is anything she can do to help. She remembers meeting both of you. Let me know if there is ever anything I can do either.
  14. I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to call you yet Tim. The wife got sick and I have been of full baby duty. Leaves little time between taking care of him and the 2 boxers. I know you know how this is lol. Think we could meet up some time tonight or this weekend?
  15. Last one until she is on the water. The other side is assembled now. Had to take it apart to replace a couple riser gaskets. http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w211/Matt86K5/Formula%20Boat/New%20Stroker/IMG00101.jpg
  16. :finger: Actually, she is alive and monster sounding. No, seriously, A BEAST. Should be more then enough to run you, even during my break in period. All I have left is finishing up wiring up the gauges. I'll take ya for a spin.
  17. I will be out next week.
  18. There is still alot of money sitting there in rigging. Hell, the trailer by itself is several thousand. Then throw in the gimble rings, K-Planes, and the rest of the rigging (gauges, throttles, interior, electronics, etc)....I can see it...I do NOT think I would buy it to fix though.
  19. Looks cool, but I think you should have bought Shanton's if you are going this route. Sorry, I'm no help though. :gtfo:
  20. That's what I had been doing. I just couldn't keep up with it. Now there is just way to much to see where the base is.
  21. Be very careful with Tru-Green. I had issues with them actually coming out and applying when they said they did at my old house. I kept noticing problems with weed sections popping up in my yard. I kept having them come out and I would get home to see the little "Keep Off Lawn" sign, but no results would happen other than when I would spray them myself. I have a camera security system on my house (that house did too). Two out of four times they came out for their "free guarantee" service, all the guy did was put the sign in my yard hang their info on the door and leave. I showed their manager when he came out, he was shocked. I think he thought I was bluffing. I'm sure it is rare that this happens, but the fact it happened twice to me is enough where I will NOT use them again.
  22. It is just so damn frustrating because I had it looking soooo good. It went from the unkept in the first pic, destroyed in the second pic, fixed and plush in the 3rd and 4th pic, now to slowly hideous in the fifth pic. Ridiculous. http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w211/Matt86K5/Starleaf%20LN/DSCN1472.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w211/Matt86K5/Starleaf%20LN/DSCN1483.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w211/Matt86K5/Starleaf%20LN/DSCN1558.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w211/Matt86K5/Starleaf%20LN/DSCN1572.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w211/Matt86K5/Starleaf%20LN/IMG00103.jpg
  23. Absolutely awesome. I will give you a call when I get home. Scott's more or less said it was Lowe's issue since they did not prevent the bags from going out. Lowe's gave me a refund (of course) and a small gift card. Scott's did however come out and did the over seeding and aerating (last fall) for free. I think it was nice of them to do this much, since I agree it was ultimately Lowe's fault I got the bag. I could probably have pursued it further legally, but the costs to do so did not justify it - and really, its pretty minor. I don't think it's worth suing over. I also enjoy this kinda thing and wanted to try to fix it myself. But, I'm a little stumped now.
