I just have no need for it anymore. I originally bought it when my Dad and I got our 51 Ford. We decided that neither of us were good enough welders for doing the car the way we wanted. Since then, I have used it occasionally around the house to fix small things and most recently it has been hibernating in Hoblicks garage from when we used it about a year ago. At this time, my little 18' VIP boat that's hogging my garage is nearing completion. It will be coming out and being sold soon. I want to sell off everything I don't really need anymore so I have more usable garage space. We moved into our current house from a house that had a 3 car garage, so I could have all the toys and tools I wanted. Now, I just want to get the BMW's put back in the garage where they belong. Sorry for the novel. I was typing and looked up and saw it all and was like holy hell.

Not as bad as you would think. Parts aren't anywhere near as bad as the used to be. Sure, not as cheap as the Domestics or standard imports...but not that much more either. Plus, it seems as though you are buying new enough to have a warranty. So, that makes alot of the repair costs mute. This is coming from a long history of BMW ownership. My last one was a 750il with the problem child V12. I had well over 250K on it before the trans went. All it ever took (besides the normal maintenance) was some suspension bushings. That car could move out too. My wife's last one, before her X5, was a 06 M5. Never had a single problem with that car and I beat the hell out of it. It was an amazing machine. Then a drunk driver came along..... I have had a only one Benz, granted it was about 10 years ago and they have changed alot, but they just didn't feel as performance oriented as my BMW's have. I know the new ones are much different creatures. I will definitely need to try one out again. Just my .02 Good Luck!

HAHA too funny. Joe if you want, I have an extra trailer we can put your boat on temporarily if you wanted to do some work on your trailer. It fits a 24'. I know that's a little too big for yours, but I keep it in my storage right at the marina entrance. We could just swap it out in the water then put it right back in my storage spot until yours is done. Let me know if interested.

How well would this hold up on say - a boat? I would only want from my bottom paint up done, if I were to ever do it. So, it would not be completely in the water taking the belly beating, but a inch or two of the sides would.

I am selling off my computer monitor. Samsung SyncMaster 920BW. The computer this was attached to was used only as my house server and surveillance camera host. This monitor was always turned off when not being used. I am on my laptop 99% of the time. I went ahead and just integrated that computer onto my TV in my family room so I can free up some space, and have quicker access to my outside cameras. It is in great shape and is I think one maybe two years old at most. Very little use. I looked on several web sites and they seem to be selling for around 150 plus shipping. I will take $100...pretty firm. May do some trading - especially for Nitrous parts. I am putting together a system for a carb'd SBC. Let me know.
