  1. I think the guy that told you that story might be stretching it a bit. I drove for Waste Management and trust me there is no way in hell they allowed someone to burn anything at a landfill. The risk of the fire spreading is way too high.

I believe that is what he told me but this was also 4 or 5 years ago that he told our group about this, so my memory could be a bit fuzzy, I will have to ask him next time I see him.

  2. Not that I don't agree with you (cuz I do) but could they be destroying unwrapped toys for fear they have something in/on/wrong with them?

I mean, not like factory wrapping = people proof... just wondering if that's why.

I would accept that but there was no requirement made to have the donation wrapped, plus they got rid of some that were wrapped.

  3. that is the first I ever heard of that! where was this information found? I would liketo look into this. Thanks.

One of the guys in the group I ride with hauled one of the trailers to the dump. He was dispatched and told to pick up a trailer from behind the clinic and drop it at the dump, no loading no unloading, grab it and go, then drop it and go. This of course got him curious so him and 2 of the other drivers dropped their trailers went up a hill parked their trucks and watched as a bobcat pulled all the stuffed animals out of the trailers into a pile and were set on fire.

  4. Aug is the teddy bear run for the childrens hospital. it is by far a smaller run but well worht it to see the kids smiling as big as then can!

FUCK THE TEDDY BEAR RUN!!!! It used to be one of the biggest runs around Cleveland, it used to bring in over 4000 bikes. That is until people started to find out what they were doing. All donated stuffed animals that were not factory wrapped, or were left over after all children in the hospital were given one, were thrown into semi trailers taken to a city dump and burned to ashes. All of the charities and other hospitals in the area would have gladly taken them but no they said fuck it loaded five 52' trailers and BURNED THOUSANDS OF DONATIONS BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T NEED THEM. They are selfish assholes and I will never ever donate to that cause again. If you want to do a good hospital charity run for kids do the Fairview Hospital toy run on 6/28/09.

Just in case I didn't make myself clear FUCK THE TEDDY BEAR RUN AND ITS ORGANIZERS!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Thanks man! I'm trying to get my buddy to ride with me to Ohio Bike Week in Sandusky..... 2 hour drive and don't want to stay overnight.... might not happen

Tell him to quit being a bitch:D

I went to Erie PA last year with a couple guys off the site and rode back same day in the rain, it went from a 2 hour ride to a four hour ride thanks to several bridge stops and a fuck it stop at Denny's for some late night goodness.

  6. Then it was your bike that i saw. Nice!!

Where were ya at line up? I was lined up by the boat docks. That was my first time doing that ride Just freaking awsome. The news said that there were only 1200 bikes in it. The food vendor told me that there were 3 thousand people there. When I went to check in they had handed out 1300 wrist bands and I got there at 920. so there were way more than 1300. about 5 miles worth of bikes!!

Yep I rock an OR sticker on my sheild and back fender. I was lined up on the side of the stadium. I would guess around 2500 bikes were there.

  7. I went and I liked it but I almost got taken out by some asshole doing a u turn right in front of me because he didn't want to wait in traffic. This is the 3rd time i have done this ride and i like it more and more every year. Just have to watch for the damn cagers that get impatient.

  8. can we PLEASE not rehash all this shit? whats done is done and the past is the past, lets leave it there. even the ones involved are over it...

Not trying to rehash anything simply pointing out the hypocrisy of the post. Comments like that should only be made by those who can stand behind it with their actions.

  9. man dave is a hell of a guy and is a new rider and just has questions and wants to know and share all he can! I miss when i was that excited about my bikes. The e-bashing just goes way too far on here.....

You have got to be fucking kidding me. Excuse me for speaking on a situation that never involved me but i do believe it was YOUR forum that was making suggestions on how to assault and vandalize the property of an OR member (including the classy suggestion to "hook his headlights up to his gas tank") over a smart ass comment he made. This was one or 2 people messing with someone else, what you and some other members of YOUR website were doing was suggesting illegal ways to hurt someone or their property. I would highly suggest you think about what you post before you make dumb ass comments like this one. I have no problems personally with you or any other assfault junkies, I met several of you in Columbus in March, but before you jump off at the mouth with stupid fucking comments like this one try to think about your own actions in the past.

  10. picture.php?albumid=303&pictureid=3527

:wtf:This makes no sense to me, This is a vulcan classic 900 (i think) and i have this same bike but its a 1500 and i have had to lean pretty damn far on my bike and have never scraped pipes, i have scraped floor board several times but if my pipes are scraping ground then that means i just went down.

  11. I would rather just be told right then and there just say we are letting 109 people go and they are..........

The shock of it would suck if you were on the list but making everyone wait when only 15% will be cut is fucked up.

No matter what it really is terrible for those who get let go, and if someone was gonna "ammo up" it doesnt really matter when they are told if they are willing to do it then they will do it no matter what.
