  1. Well apparentley nobody else does but i actually agree with putty. Granted i have taken rides in December before but i still agree with him.

His basic line of thinking was correct that it is more dangerous to ride in December than in warmer months. That really can not be argued, cars dont give a shit about bikes in general but in cold months the thought of a motorcycle being on the road doesnt even cross their mind, that makes it more dangerous.

I have a big cruiser and i can tell the difference in my tires when it is cold out, im not taking turns that fast or really pushing the limit in any way, but i can still feel that the tires do not grip the road as well, that makes it more dangerous.

Due to freezing and unfreezing during the winter we all know that pot holes seem to pop up all over the place and i dont know about you but pot holes are not my friend when i am on 2 wheels. The number of pot holes from the first freeze of winter to the last thaw easily doubles and maybe triples in number(unless all of NE Ohio just plain sucks at road care and no one else has this problem) to me it seems that having twice or three times as many pot holes makes it more dangerous to ride.

Im not saying dont go riding in cold months or that if you do then something will happen but i am saying the same as putty, IT IS MORE DANGEROUS

  2. why cant the have a display in the statehouse technically there should be no type of christmas display. Isn't the church and state supposed to be seperated?

Actually no, the wording is seperation of the church from the state, meaning there can not be a government run church.

Unfortunatley this has been twisted and stretched to mean whatever people want it to. Its turned into reading between the lines, it doesnt say that you can have the 10 commandments in a government building but it doesnt say that you cant either, so people make it say whatever they want.

  3. Woot.com is doing another woot off, if you have never checked out the site then take a minute and do so because they put up some kick ass deals. Usually they put up 1 item a day but for the next few days they put an item up and as soon as it sells out or it has been up for 12 hours they put a new item up. Check it out. WOOT!!
  4. The punch that put down Couture didn't even look like Brock put much behind it.

It didnt look bad at first but when i watched the replay i realized that Brock caught him square in the temple, if you have ever been hit in the temple then you know that it doesnt take much to put you down. Plus your talking about a 285lb brick shit house throwin punches, so even if he didnt put much behind it its still gonna be a hard ass punch.

  5. i think it is good that issue 6 failed, the way it was set up there was nothing that would of came positive of it.

Sooooooo 200 million dollars distributed between all the counties in Ohio was not positive?

All of the tax revenue that would have gone to the state was not positive?

All of the new businesses that would have come to the area were not positive?

All the businesses currently in the area growing would not be positive?

Creating around 3000 construction jobs was not positive?

Creating around 5000 jobs at the casino and resort was not positive?

Please tell me how any of these things are not positive?

As far as the guy taking HIS money out of state, its HIS money, it would only be HIS PERSONAL PROFIT that left the state. Every time you buy anything from anywhere that is not based in ohio, the money leaves the state. So probably 90% of the money you spend leaves the state, why is it such a crime for a casino owner to take what is his and spend it where and how he wants?

  6.

When did Tysons not recognize Labor Day....a holiday most modern countries have...that isn't rooted in American tradition but rather a holiday started by Union. Yea you work you deserve a day off! Support your local union!..propaganda anyone?

They made a Muslim holiday a paid vacation day by sacraficing Labor Day, I would say that is not recognizing it.

Oh and thanks for throwing shit in that i did not say nor did i even hint to, all I said was it is a national holiday so why is it wrong for them to recognize it?

MEDINA, Ohio - Five people were killed in motorcycle crashes over the weekend. Since Friday, the Medina and Wooster Posts of the Ohio State Highway Patrol have been investigating four fatal crashes that claimed the lives of five people.

Daniel Jordan, 39, of Orville, and his wife, Brenda Jordan, 40, were thrown from their motorcycle after it was stuck by a car on Route 57 on Saturday. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other motorcyclists were killed Friday in separate crashes in Medina County. John Melchior, 49, of Parma, was involved in a high-speed chase with police that ended when he crashed head-on into an SUV on Route 42.

Troopers said Melvyn Rager, 49, of Marshallville, was killed when he lost control and went left of center and hit a truck on Hartman Road in Wadsworth.

They said alcohol was not a factor in any of the crashes.

Lt. J.M. Swindell, commander of the Medina post, along with troopers want to remind motorists of three key safety messages that can help reduce motorcycle crashes.

    1. Get trained (including knowing what proper safety gear to wear)/get licensed
    2. Stay sober. Alcohol and operating any type of motor vehicle do not mix.
    3. Other drivers be aware of motorcycles.

"If we all do our part and share the road safely we can help in reducing some of these very preventable tragedies," Swindell said.

While the state has seen a decrease in motorcycle fatalities this year, the deadly weekend is a way to remind the public of the importance of motorcycle safety and sharing the road safely.

To report an impaired or aggressive motorist call 1-800-GRAB-DUI.
