  1. Yea, just do it on your own private roads.
  2. Yes, please send her your number Max
  3. Anyone have an update on how our buddy Jeff is doing (I didn't sign up at the caringbridge site )?
  4. I just woke back up... I needed the extra sleep. If anything, I'll give it to lammie -- he's very persistent on getting that BMW out. I suppose if my bike was that baller, I'd be too.
  5. I didnt say you were bragging, just that none of the people you rode with would consider themselves 'big dogs' Good call on nixing the ride for today Inya. Sucks, but I have a feeling it was the right call. I'm 90% sure that I'm out for tomorrow though due to prior plans.
  6. Ouch, such hurtfulness from a past owner Hope to see you out soon Rob
  7. Unless you're talking about physical girth, I don't know anyone on the 164 ride we did that that would consider themselves one of the 'big boys'. There are guys that think they're fast, fast guys, then there are faster guys -- and typically, at least in my experience on here, the amount of time people spend bragging about how fast they are is indirectly proportional to their actual ability to ride fast. Uncle Punk, for instance, is a fast guy, but you won't hear it out of his mouth, only those that've ridden with him. The bottom line, for this ride, the 164 ride, and any other ride is RIDE your own RIDE, do it responsibly, and under control. There's nothing worse than riding with someone that dangerously and irresponsibly attempts to 'one up' a guy they think they're faster than, and ends up wrecking their bike, or multiple bikes, and ruins the rest of the day/ride for everyone else that was riding within their limits. /end rant I know it's been said before, by many others on here, in many different ways, but I kinda feel after our little 164 incident, that it bears repeating for some of the newer members just getting involved in ORDN group rides. If you thought that was a fast pace, be prepared to not let your ego get in the way on this one. You will be humbled.
  8. @ RFM Dude, it'll cost you a pretty penny, but I'd lawyer up on that one -- assuming you want to keep your license. Shouldn't be a problem for someone who can afford a new bike though.
  9. Umm... thunderstorms up to 60% chance now... will be playing it by ear. Pretty big design flaw in the SV -- front tire sprays directly onto cyl #1 plug/plug wire. It hates rain and wetness more than I do.
  10. Except for all you unpatriotic liberal scum... Harvard: July 4th Parades Are Right-Wing http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/washington-whispers/2011/06/30/harvard-july-4th-parades-are-right-wing Loooooooooove you Casper -- you have a safe and good one too.
  11. Well, now that you're putting stipulations on this... jeez. No chord this time... the chain, well, it spins the tire fine, but it's definitely tight in one spot. I don't have much experience with the symptoms of a "bad chain".
  12. I can't believe they let you take your bike on the train.
  13. David.... your first mistake is citing a HOG Chapter post
  14. Perhaps. What are typical sweep riders duties other than making sure no one is in the ditch and ruining your own ride because you have to go slow?
  15. You get what you pay for... someone post financials for the Dayton PD.
  16. I think stumpalumpapotamus has the bike now.
  17. Do you need the car painted? I know a guy.
  18. SVs FTMFW. Underestimated underdogs of the motorcycling world.
  19. Fail. Looks like it'll just be me and my brother out there tonight then. Should be a perfect night for it.
  20. Or, you could be the only VFR on the property... I'd like to see what those run..
  21. If there was a for marketing, Harley would win that.
