A) Homeless guy gets arrested for taxpayer healthcare in prison.
B) Taxpayers pay for universal healthcare.
Either way, taxpayers are paying for it and neither work.
So how do you fix it Justin? You obviously know the answer, thus making you smarter than everyone else in the country and probably in the world.
Aww, you're making me blush.
So, if you take both your solutions there -- you pick the one with the best balance of cost-benefit.
In situation A) not only are taxpayers paying for healthcare, they're paying for law enforcement, the legal system, etc. So, it's pretty much a no-brainer that situation A costs more than situation B for pretty much the same net result.
B wins, it's cheaper.

This is what our country is coming to and it pisses me off.
You know how to fix it, but none of the conservative-capitalists on here like that answer either. So, we're all ears on how you want to deal with it....
-
Hrmmph. Why does this not shock me?
-
I haven't totally ruled that out yet, but it doesn't seem like their style... Where's the funny?
if it's just publicity for Dunn's now hosting gig on that G4 show, then it's definitely totally tasteless.
I heard G4 made a statement that they're pulling all the unaired episodes 'Proving Grounds' from their programming.

SVs are girls' bikes.

So, tell us the truth, the sexy sound of a vtwin is no match for the ugliness of the RC51, so the HOA is making you get rid of it.

They've also been running heavy ads on G4TV for his new show with Jessica Chobot called "Proving Ground"

Even adding a passenger barely hinders the performance.
Unless you're into fat chicks, or dudes. But, I'm not here to judge.

The Sv1k comes with previous gen gsxr600 forks, fully adjustable, but not upside down forks like most modern bikes -- the sv650 is the nonadjustable bargain bin suspension, not the 1k.
I don't know how much weight, if any, you'd save upgrading the suspension.
Are they heavy? Yes, but if you rode one, you'd find out they carry the weight well and handle ALMOST as good as any middleweight or 1000cc i4 bike. I think you might be putting the cart before the horse here... Unless you're specifically going to race it, I dont know why weight is a serious concern for a standard-type street bike.

Ive gotten 2 great deals previous way. I figure why waste mine and their time looking at it if Im not paying their asking.
That's what I do. I'll negotiate over email or txt (so I have it in writing and can refer back to it later), and then settle on a price before i go look at it. If everyone was in the up-and-up and the condition was truthfully represented as they say it is, then I hand over the cash, test ride it, and they sign the title over.
-
There is no 2nd gen SV1k. They were the successor to the TLS/R line and the body and chassis were homogalmated into the second generation sv650 line, when they gave the 650s fuel injection. SV1ks always were 1000cc FI vtwins, but the sv650s were carbeurated until the second gen in 2003.

Hey inya, why so serious?

Ollie at the blacuweather forecast says 'it's gon' rain!'
I'll be too tired to make the meetspot in the AM. Ride safe NEO crew.

Man there are some HORRIBLE reviews.
You have to take a lot of those with a grain of salt -- a torque wrench is a tool that needs to be properly used/stored, a lot of those people don't.
-
I do not offer a service to change tires, I just like help out fellow local riders.
That's too bad, because if you're off case rd, you're probably less than 2 miles away from me right now. You could be my new "tire change guy" after the unfortunate circumstances with Jeff (cf7x)
You're a lot closer too.

Then you're gonna have to get into different classification of animals...
Are dogs/cats (most common domesticated pets people have) on the same level as sheep, rabbits, cattle, snakes, parrots, rats, gerbils, or goldfish?
-
how do i chamber a baseball bat?
Your ass.
Wait, nvm, I thought you asked how to holster it.

I lived next door to her growing up. Very nice girl.

No. But, it was attempted to have this discussion on the radio yesterday afternoon.
If you take out the sick subjective opinion on this type of behavior, what exactly are you harming? I'm not gay, but I wouldn't outlaw it. I'm not into erotic asphyxiation, but who am I to judge the people that are?
Animals can't give 'consent' per se, but that a derived concept from human society. If a male animal wants to have their way with a female animal, it will. Unless the female physically fights it off. The major issue I see is harm to the animal. I'm assuming, based on physical size alone, that human reproductive organs probably aren't going to harm a horse, sheep, or large dog. Smaller animals, it would cause harm and the person should be charged under animal cruelty laws.
I'm just trying to take the psychological/emotion bias out and look at it from an objective perspective. Not all states have bestiality laws, so do you think gov't should regulate morality or not? That's really what it boils down too.
It's sick, gross, not my 'cup of tea', but those are generally just popular opinions -- and as long as there is no harm done, why is it our job to regulate this kind of deviant behavior? 'Public shaming' and being labeled as a 'sheepf*(ker' or whatever should be enough of a deterrent that we shouldn't have to legislate it... gov't should stay out of our bedrooms (and barns apparently).
-
***NOT CONDONING THIS BEHAVIOR***
But, for discussion purposes and strictly from an OBJECTIVE point of view, if the animal isn't harmed (in this case there was 'bruising' which would heal) -- why should there need to be bestiality laws? To each their own, no?

Rep. Matt Lundy, Gov. Kasich at odds over info release
http://chronicle.northcoastnow.com/2011/06/17/rep-matt-lundy-gov-kasich-at-odds-over-info-release/
Oversimplified Summary: Kasich doesn't want to answer a FOI request because it's too arduous and irrelevant, and it was only asked for to play political games.
Lundy says those records (especially the emails) are supposed to be open for review and this is just another indication of lack of transparency by Kasich.
Lundy said Kasich’s denial is an excuse to keep the information secret and Kasich is purposefully misinterpreting the ruling.Lundy said it’s part of a pattern of secrecy by Kasich that began when he tried to be inaugurated in private, refused to provide resumes of administration nominees and initially denied the release of three emails between Kasich and Ohio State University President Gordon Gee.
“It’s important to get clarification and to get clarification as quickly as possible so that this is not an abusive pattern by the administration or by others in local government,” Lundy said. “He wants government to operate in the dark. The public wants government to be transparent.”
Lundy’s request, which Kasich spokesman Rob Nichols called, “king of the dopiest requests we’ve ever gotten,” is voluminous.
Besides the emails, the request includes: one spreadsheet breaking down how budget cuts will affect each school district, estimated costs of possible lawsuits over the potential firings of older teachers, projected losses for future charter and voucher payments under new rules as well as lists of charter schools in academic emergency or that have closed, and a bibliography of research indicating how proposed reforms will improve student achievement.

A friend of mine is one of the local news reporters down there, and she got tasked with interviewing the guy and researching his fetish.
She said it was pretty mortifying to sign up for some of the bestiality forums and things. She posted that she used the password: ThisIsForWork for all her accounts.
Her latest followup article:http://www.mansfieldnewsjournal.com/article/20110617/NEWS01/106170314/Shelby-bestiality-case-prompts-legislative-action?odyssey=tab%7Ctopnews%7Ctext%7CFrontpage

Man robs bank for $1 to get medical care in jail
in Dumpster
Posted
Look, and I've said this before, my advocacy for things is predominantly economics based, with a small smattering of morals/ethics when and where possible.
I'm OK with whatever rules people want in the 'system' as long as everyone in the 'system' is willing to accept those rules. But they aren't. Americans are full of excuses why they are 'special cases' and should be treated differently. Hell, if you want to make a rule that if you don't have health insurance, then you don't get medical care -- I'm fine with that. If you don't carry around your wallet EVERYWHERE you go, so the first thing an emergency responder can do is check to see if you're financially responsible before treating you -- fine. But as soon as you make that rule, someone's gonna have an excuse why their brother/mother/uncle wasn't saved from a car accident because their medical card was at home, or it was thrown from the car in the accident, or...
So, because no one is allowed to be a cold-hearted bastard, or they get ostracized for being so 'insensitive' to people's issues, we'll all end up paying for it anyway -- so, the LEAST you can do is make it cheaper for the rest of us.
