I am going to when we agree on a price. They are at $6,985 less $500 ded. and buy back of $1,550. I would have the bike and get a check for $5,435. I can work with that and could care less if it has a salvage title.
I didnt think it was that bad. I waited until Tues. to go to hospital. Plus im not right in the head. Not bad at all. Like I said about $600 in parts plus my labor. Ill try to add some pics.
Yes that was the one. I took it to Roush for an estimate they came up with a $9,930 estimate. They had both the frame and swingarm on the estimate because of the light scratches. I figure I would have about $600 in parts plus paint/material and my labor. Oh and yes I rode it back 140 miles that day and have put about another 600+ miles on with no problems, would be more but I broke 4 ribs that day.
Does anyone have any experience good, bad or other with buying back a Total loss from the Ins. Co.? Do they even allow this? Side note I have State Farm.
OJ All good just need to clean some vomit of the front of the bike, hope you fell better tarr. Oh and replace the left fairing. Great route Todd I will have to ride that again soon.
Negative just a bad situation I encountered on my way home. Not an attempted U-Turn the road continues for miles. Also the divide is only about 50 feet before a intersection with many turn off streets prior to that point.
R.I.P. Rider down on W140th and Trisket in Cleveland. Driver of a red cavalier appeared to turn left INTO A BAR and the rider hit the right front. The rider tried to stop the skid mark from the tire was at least 15 feet. Cant find any further info. Bet it was the "I DIDNT SEE HIM/HER" excuse. Thoughts and prayers going out to family and friends.
