Anyone that knows anything about the 04+ 3v motors/plugs, knows what a PITA it can be to change the stock plugs. I didn't want to deal with it and the possibility of them breaking off in the heads. I picked up the Brisk one piece plugs from Brady @ PPC last week, then dropped my truck off this past Saturday at Rob's. He did a great job. Only a couple of them broke, but he was able to remove the pieces without having to remove the heads. He also replaced the fuel filter because I didn't want to deal with it either. He got it done the same day and it was done at a great price. I couldn't be happier.
Thanks Rob!!
P.S. Sorry for waking you up yesterday.

It was time for me to replace the shitty two piece plugs that Ford put in these 3v motors. Brady was out of stock on the Brisk one piece plugs, but ordered them and had them in just a couple days, and at a great price.
Thanks again Brady!

2008 with ~19,500miles. I need to find my stock shifter, so the Techs at Byers don't have a shitfit. That and I should probably remove my intake and go back to the stock airbox just as a precaution...
No need to put the stock airbox back in. It has absolutely nothing to do with the transmission.

I don't understand why there are so many fucking morons willing to take nut shots like that. I always did whatever I had to do to protect my boys. I would never put them in harm's way.

Ive been burning myself the last few years but the guy next door had the police over to visit when he was burning the other week.
It's always been my understanding that if you are roasting hot dogs, marshmallows, etc, then it's ok to have a fire.

Probably would have fit if you would have let the air out of the tires.

I'm surprised no one else has said it yet. Welcome to columbusfbodyracing.com!!
See ya around.
Oh, and +1 on the Ultra Z hood.

Damn! That sucks that it was just the breaker. I started reading your post about mine not working and was like WTF! I know for a fact it worked. I wouldn't lie about it. Then I read the rest of your post. Whew! Sorry to hear that you have an extra working dryer now, but glad that you like mine better.
Dan is wanting the washer, not the dryer. He's already PM'd me about it and I have replied.

I discovered this morning that my A/C was not working. The heat pump wasn't running, but the blower in the furnace part was and had been running for 11+ hours straight. I called AirQuest this morning. They had a guy out (Ian, I think) in less than two hours. He replaced that part and everything operational in no time. The price was more than fair considering the short notice.
Thanks!!

hows the body in general besides the dents? such as clear coat?
It looks to be in pretty decent shape. It was kinda hard to tell though because the car was pretty dusty the day that I looked at it.

That is a real common problem on all the 93-up cars. After time you can actually see where all the urethane is where they are held on. Some cars bubble and some get stress cracks in the same area. It sucks but I don't see any dealerships doing anything about it especially with the gm bankruptcy thing.
Everything I've read, it's 99 and up only.

Don't they have to cut off the whole roof and replace it?
I read about this issue years ago, I think they said it's due to the glue shit they used, so repainting it won't do anything in the long run because it will come back.
'98 FTW!
Yeah, ripping it off and replacing it with a new piece is what most have done. I read a thread yesterday where someone was able to use some sort of wire and cut the "glue" to remove the panel. He then removed the excessive glue from the car and panel, repainted the panel, and reattached the panel with new glue. You have to have some balls to do that, I think. Or just be ready to drop ~ $1,500 if you fuck up.

Not the greatest pic, but the white spots are the bubbles.

Do you have the bubbling issue in the sail panel on your car?
This is a HUGE topic over on LS1Tech. It looks like people are having to pay a lot of money to get this fixed. However, a few people are still getting it fixed for free because they have some connections at a dealership.
So, do you have the issue? Have you gotten yours repaired?
Can anyone help me get mine repaired at little or no cost? It's not too bad right now, but I sure would like to get it repaired before it gets worse.

They did this/similar when I was a kid. It was fun we went everyy night.
I think you're talking about the laser light show that they had on the side of the buildings. I went to that several times as a kid and enjoyed it.
I think the OP is talking about WaterFire:

The only way to get any money out of cards now is to take them and have them graded. I'm not sure how much it costs to have cards graded. My guess is that it's only worth it if you know for sure that a particular is worth a shitload.

When I picked up the plugs from Brady last week, he mentioned that the mustangs have the same 2 piece plugs design problems. I'm not sure if it's certain years or what.
Maybe he'll see this and explain.
