  1. If the price is good, they can pick it up friday, if the price is good they, can pick it up friday if the price is good, they can pick it up friday but only if the price is good, then they will pick it up if the price is good on friday (if the price is good)

Is the price good? Ill pick it up friday

    HAHA!! I noticed that too.

  2. Wait, were both received emails from the same person? The first email really screams MORON more than scam.

Yes they are. It's weird because the first one was sent from their RR e-mail and they asked me to reply to their yahoo e-mail. So I replied to both. Their second e-mail is from their yahoo e-mail. Not sure why they can't use the same freakin e-mail.

Anyway, I replied back and told them that it's $200 and that I'm available friday evening and saturday during the day. I also stated that I will only accept cash (which is posted in the CL ad anyway). I then asked them to provide me their phone number and I would contact them to make arrangements. We'll see what happens.

Due to the weirdness of this possible transaction, if this person actually does come to pick it up, I will be armed, just in case.

  3. I'm not sure what to think. Is this some sort of scam or is this person just an idiot?

I listed my tv for $200 on CL. Person e-mails me asking if I still have it. I replied that I do. They respond asking how much the tv is and that they can pick it up on Friday if the price is right. Ummm, the price is in the subject line of the fucking e-mail!!!

    (I have x'd out all e-mail addresses)

Yes, I still have the tv. There is nothing wrong with the sound and picture. Let me know when a good time would be for you to pick it up.

    Thanks!

If you still have the rear projection tv I would like to buy that off of you if there is nothing wrong with the picture and sound. You can contact me at xxxxxxxxx@yahoo.com. I have a truck to haul it.

  4. Luckily I don't have to deal with a ticketing system where I work, but I do receive phone calls. At least a couple times a week, a supervisor will call me stating that a computer at one of the tables is not working. I walk up to the computer and hit the power button. I look at them and tell them to turn the damn thing on before calling me next time. Sometimes I think they enjoy tormenting me.
  5. I haven't, but what do they do that a regular realtor doesn't do? Besides charge an upfront nonrefundable deposit? That sounds shady to me...Have sold 2 houses through a regular Realtor..nothing paid until sold...

Exactly my thoughts. Don't pay until it's sold.

  6. That's exactly how I feel.

Had he ran the red light and killed someone, would it have been excusable because his mother-in-law was dying?

Did you read the other thread/article? He slowed down at the light and the only car at the intersection stopped and waved him through.

  7. if they really fit an 8.8...ill take them. any chance you'd meet me somewhere.Im on the north side of columbus, so somwhere in between.

I'll get a couple pictures for you this weekend. I will most likely be up in the westerville area one morning early next week. Maybe we could meet up then.
