  1. I understand I'm wanting to buy something, but more people see this area than the sale section. Plus, I figured if anyone might have some advice about how I can transplant the hdd into another machine without effing XP up, then that would be great.
  2. I have a pc here at work that has an EXTREMELY important application on the hdd. The pc died. From what I've read, with these crap pc's, generally when the power supply goes, it takes the mobo with it, and that's what happened. Now I need a pc just like it so that I can get this application up and running again.
  3. OMG, I know exactly how he felt there at the end when they NEEDED to know what vehicle it came out of. I don't know how many times I've went in there to get a random part that doesn't necessarily belong to that vehicle and they can't help me because I HAVE to tell them what vehicle it's for.

I thought I was going to strangle someone when I was trying to just get a damn pilot bushing for my car.

  4. Thanks for all the info guys. At this point, we're just trying to make it good enough to keep the CEL from coming on. She's going to be trading the car in on something new soon, so we just want the light off for when the stealership inspects it.
  5. My g/f has a 2005 Mitsubishi Galant ES 4cyl that is throwing a P0401 code (EGR Flow Insufficient). It was briefly mentioned to me by someone at Advance Auto that I could try cleaning it before replacing it.

How would I go about cleaning it?

Is there anything else that I should look for that might be throwing this code?

    Thanks in advance!!

  6. ^^^what he said. I have an 04 F150. I am afraid to change the plugs in mine. The manual says they are 100K mile plugs. I'm at 42K right now.

If you buy an 04 - 07 truck from a stealership, ask them to replace the plugs with the one piece design BEFORE you sign any papers. You don't want to have to pay for that repair later.

  7. Nothin wrong with him, most dogs and cats will twitch and "run" or bark/meow in their sleep. He's just a little more active than most. About once a week, I watch one of my cats twitch their way off the side of some piece of furniture or other.

I'm not so sure about that. In the second video, after the dog stands up, it looks more like he's having a seizure. One of my friends has a dog that has seizures and he looks exactly the same as that when he's having one. They really should be getting that dog to the vet and on some meds.

  8. 99 Slave w/ approximately 60K miles on it. Was working when I removed it. Decided to get a new one when I put my rebuilt trans and new clutch in.

    $15

01+ Slave. Not sure how many miles are on it. I bought it from someone on LS1Tech. Again, I decided to go with a new one instead.

McLeod SFI Approved Bellhousing. I bought this from someone on LS1Tech. I later found out it wouldn't fit with the stock manifolds, so I had to buy a new stock bellhousing.

I really just want to get this stuff out of my garage, so make me a reasonable offer and we'll go from there.

  9. I have 42,000 miles on my truck and haven't changed the plugs yet. The book says you don't need to until 100K. I'm going to wait until then. Maybe I'll be ready for better flowing heads, headers, etc by that time anyway, so it won't matter if I break the plugs off in the heads.
  10. On the TA, I just finished ordering all the parts for the rear end and started tearing into it on Wednesday. I am replacing the entire rear housing, with welded on LCA relocation brackeds and sway bar mounts, M9 Ford 9", 35 spline axles, detroit locker, 3.50 gears, aluminum 3rd member, BMR extremem sway bar, panhard relocation rod, adjustable torque arm, transmission cross member relocation bar and a 3.5 aluminum DS with 1350 u-joints and new trans yoke.

    Why only 3.50's?
