  1. I'm steaming mad right now. They replaced the window motor and track assembly in my truck yesterday. In the process, they scratched the tint on the window. They are telling me they won't fix it because I can't prove that they did it. I'm currently waiting on a call from the service manager.

Any suggestions to get this resolved?

  2. I was in this situation a few years ago. I inherited a bunch of stuff from my great-grandparents (over 70 years worth of stuff). I started off by get rid of or selling things that did not mean so much to me. As the years have went on, I have been slowly letting other things go. When I decide to let more stuff go, I have a contact that take things on consignment. Once I have some stuff boxed up, I call him to come pick it up. I've been contacting him about once a year.

If you decide that you might be interested in going this route, send me a pm and I'll give you his contact info.

  3. $50 obo

I've had this phone a little over a year. Never had any problems with it. I switched to a different provider this past spring and haven't used this since. It comes with 2 batteries and 2 chargers. I am pretty sure I still have the manual also.

I had to replace my entire furnace & heat pump this summer and it came with a new thermostat, so I'm selling the one it replaced.

It's a Honeywell 7-Day Programmable model. It's only about 3 years old. I never had any problems with it.

    This is the exact unit:

I forgot to get the model number before I left the house this morning, but I can get it tonight, if wanted. I'm pretty sure this is the one. I did get it at Home Depot:

  5. This would be the right way to do it, mine are held together with little screws.

Same here. Haven't had a problem since I installed them.

Side note: The windows are still as slow as molasses when rolling up though. If I put them up one at a time, they are a little faster.

  6. Have fun getting fiberglass out of your skin.

Oh god. I forgot about that. Right after I got my car, I had to replace both motors. My arms were scratched up and itched for several days. That was way worse than replacing the motors.

I'm not sure if it would help, but maybe go buy a pair of those dish washing gloves that will cover your arm to about 1/2 way up to your elbow.
