  1. I just saw a LS6 intake on LS1tech for sale for $300. Guy says it has about 15,000 miles on it.

What is it that I need to ask the seller to see if it will work on my car? I remember there being something about the underside of the intake, but can't remember what that is.

  2. Staying at this hotel. Thanks to reward points I received by traveling for work, I only have to pay for 1 of the 2 nights.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh Downtown is centrally located less than two blocks away from the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Easy walking distance to the offices of HJ Heinz, AT&T, PNC Bank, UPMC and all of the major sporting venues. Located in Pittsburgh's historic Strip District.

Get ready for an adventure of a life time here in western Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh offers fun and recreation for all ages, whether your idea of a good time is barreling down a rollercoaster, taking in the game or visiting one of our many museums. Pittsburgh's assortment of entertainment options are endless. Most everything you will want to experience in Pittsburgh is either just footsteps from our front door or just a few minutes by car.

During the day, the Strip District fills with aroma of great food. Come see the open food markets, street vendors and unique shops. At night the Strip District transforms in to the place to be for night life featuring large entertainment venues and chic nightclubs.

Pittsburgh's only Smithsonian affiliated museum the Senator John Heinz History Center is directly across the street or make a weekend trip and visit the National Aviary, Carnegie Science Center, Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Zoo, PPG Aquarium AND Kennywood Park. Minutes away are all of Pittsburgh's prestigious colleges and universities; the University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, Carnegie Mellon University and Point Park College.

If it's for work or play, make the Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh Downtown your first choice when traveling to the City of Champions!

  3. High School.

Seriously though, I just saw an ad the other day for k12.com. Apparently it's a popular online GED program, though I don't think it's free.

Edit: I just looked at the site and I'm not sure if that its geared toward adults really. Seems to be more for kids still in school.

I saw this commercial the other day and was extremely disappointed. Is this what we are telling kids now? It's ok to drop out of high school and get your ged? Not any time during the commercial did they suggest that staying in school would be the proper thing to do. It sickens me.

  4. The g/f and I are planning a road trip this weekend to Pittsburgh, mainly to eat at Primanti Bros.

We will be leaving early Saturday and have all day Saturday and Sunday, coming back Monday morning. In what part of town should we stay? I have Hilton Honors points to use, so I'd like to stay at one of their brand hotels. Any recommendations as to location?

Also, what should we do while we're there? (Beside have lots and lots of sex since that is a given...and yes, I will also piihb because she lets me do that already) So, I'm looking for things to do/attractions/sites, etc while we are taking breaks from having the sex.

  5. Sorry to disappoint, but the large crew of people that were going to go with me (bunch of co-workers here from San Diego) bailed at the last minute. They wanted to do something else. Didn't seem worth it at that point if there's not a bunch of people to watch and laugh at my pain.

Maybe we can set up a CR meet and do the challenge then.

  6. I just called Tweeter's. Finish 6 wings in 5 minutes, then you have to sit in the store for 5 more minutes without puking. 300+ people have tried. 5 have succeeded. If you win, you get your $10 back, a shirt, and a $25 gift card.
  7. I got a leather Buckeyes wallet at Buckeye Corner 5 years ago and it hasn't fallen apart on me at all. I don't remember what I paid for it, but it wasn't too much considering how long it's lasted me. I don't know if they still sell them though. I just checked online and didn't see them. When I got mine, I was in the store on Sawmill.
