In the end you're right, all about who sells more. I hate blackberry's, and really have no freaking idea why people like them. But yes, majority of people like simple, which is why a piece of crap phone like the Razr is still one of the best selling phones (last time I checked). But Symbian, which is an excellent OS, is probably the most complex OS between the iphone and android, but it also has the ability to much much more, and thats why its #1. Symbian also isnt very popular in the US, and I blame that on its complexity. Same way with manual transmissions in cars, in most countries manuals are the majority and if you dont know how to drive one, you don't get a license. Americans like to be lazy and are ok with companies telling them how to use their devices and how to drive their cars. Me personally, I prefer to drive my car the way I want to, and have a device that I can shape to fit my likes and needs, not the other way around.

Got to check out one for a little bit this morning. First impression...its cool. I can see it being useful for work, taking notes, checking emails, looking stuff up online etc. So then I was like ok, its not as useless as I thought, its better than carrying a netbook around. Then after the OOOH and AAAHH wore off, which apple is very good at doing, I realized that its pretty fucking useless. Say I'm in a meeting taking notes, and I want to switch over to the web browser to look at something, I cant have both things running at once. I would have to save my notes, close it, open the browser and hope that I got all the info I needed, then close the browser and re-open my notes. I also wont be able to get Calender reminders while I have another program open and wouldnt be able to look at emails either. Dedicating time to one specific thing isnt practical. So I would be better of just using my phone. Only advantage the ipad has is the screen size. Netbook would also work, but its not as portable. I personally dont have a need something like that, but if I did I'd just stick to my phone and a paper notebook. Correction: I guess if you just close your notes and switch back, your notes will still be there and your calender reminders should pop up.

Damn you cant even text while listening to Pandora? That is seriously fail for me if I cant listen to Pandora and receive text, which I do on a daily basis. Shit, I will have the Turn by Turn GPS on, while streaming MP3's or Pandora through bluetooth to my car stereo, sending/receiving texts, while Google Latitude is running along side my task manager app and facebook widget. Probably surfing CR in the mix somewhere there. I will be doing exactly that tonight when I'm heading over to check out Nurkvinny's car he has for sale.
