  1. I have not heard many people actually say they liked Mitt Romney for president. I myself think he would have been one of the best presidents we could have ever had in these times but that's here-nor-there. The impacts of this election are going to change business models and consumer spending dramatically in my opinion. I base this off the face that employers will begin decreasing hours for part time employees to <= 30 hours to avoid the healthcare penalty and employing less than 50 employees. When the 2% payroll tax come back into play Jan 1st this will further have an impact on consumer spending which will further slow the economy. Its simple to see how the election was won, Obama got >80% of the African American vote, 70% of the hispanic vote, ~59% of the millenia vote, etc. The republican need to broaden the changing demographic of voters in this country in order to win. This is hard to do when we have people looking for a hand out everywhere you turn and there's no honor in the working man these days. I will say it wasn't all Bush's fault and I'm not a racist. my statistics come from http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/Journal2 but theres other sources that will show you the same information like http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2012/11/08/us/politics/obama-was-not-as-strong-as-in-2008-but-strong-enough.html Thanks America! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzspsovNvII
  2. Whats your price range? I have an Grey 08' Ranger, Manual, 4 Cyl, Cruise, ~50K miles
  3. I completely agree, it has to be so hard getting discriminated against like that.
  4. I'm Big Chief201 and I support this message.
  5. I still don't see any credible information here. I could be a veternarian who has worlds of experience, I could be a member of the Certification council of professional dog trainers, I could also be just some jackass that likes watching you try to prove a point with only your opinion instead of facts. You just keep digging with your unintelligent ramblings, I mean you even had to resort to inappropriate language and name calling. If you really have studied this topic then you should easily be able to add some intelligence to this conversation by simply adding sources and information people could read. But once again you have failed, good luck sir its apparent you cant have an intelligent debate without name calling and inappropriate language.
  6. My lack of knowledge on the subject really shows by the fact I was able to add value to the subject by siting research studies and report from valid sources and you still have yet to even post anything remotely factual to back up your position. Now if you would like to call my sources and fact erroneous as you did please find a research study or expert source that will attest to your ramblings and I will digress. Until then try and add some real helpful information not just going after people who show intelligence. Beating me down? Let be realistic here you have done nothing besides type incoherent ramblings trying to attack me while not representing your side one bit. If this was a debate you would have already lost on your lack of credibility. You don't know me I don't know you so I wouldnt try cheap jabs to "win", besides this is the Internet there tough guy.
  7. Mr. Puck, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. P.S. At least I sited sources in my ramblings of just wanting to hear myself speak, you on the other hand are just strenghtening my position that you have no clue what you are talking about by not providing evidence on your position.
  8. so if someone is on your property illegally it is illegal for you to detain them (citizens arrest) while waiting for authorities to arrive?
  9. I am flabbergasted by your ignorance pertaining to my post. Let me break it down for you since apparently you dont get the jist. I quoted reliable sources for both sides of the arguement (as I pointed out in my last statement "Cliffs: There is factual arguments for both sides,") to show there is no right or wrong answer to this but comes down to poor management of the dog and other external factors. Also it seems you are trying to discredit valid resources I quoted but you failed to present your case with sources/research/studies, didn't you learn anything in school? Don't bring a knife to a gun fight, Sir. And yes I am making a generalization but you once again proved me right by showing your opinion in your last statement and not backing it up.
  10. I understand your bias and respect your opinion but when you find the fabrication in the report let me know.
  11. It's just getting worse and worse.... http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes/top-stories/exclusive-ice-agent-faces-suspension-for-arresting-illegal-alien.html
  12. (October 2011 story). Arizona Rancher, Roger Barnett, had been stuck in a vicious legal battle from 2004 to 2011. Many illegal immigrants were trespassing his property and he held a group of 26 of them at gun point. According to the Mexican American Legal Defense Fund, the illegal immigrants' rights were being infringed upon. Their case: Barnett did not feel threatened by the illegal immigrants and therefore he could not have been acting in self-defense. A nearby rancher was murdered by illegal immigrants in 2009. First of all, if you have a gun you wouldn't feel threatened. Secondly, it is his property. You give up your rights once you trespass someone's property without permission -- let alone coming crossing the border. He was ordered to pay $80,000 because three of the illegal immigrants had Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Ummm? 13. Lets get some facts here because all I see are people throwing around opinions and we all know what those are like..... Pit Bulls are descendants of the original English bull-baiting dog—a dog that was bred to bite and hold bulls, bears and other large animals around the face and head. "Bulldogs" were bred to hang on without releasing their grip, until the animal was exhausted from fighting and from loss of blood. When baiting large animals was banned in the 1800s, people then started to fight their dogs against each other instead. As the "sport" of dog fighting developed, enthusiasts bred a lighter, more athletic canine. These dogs made their way to North America, the ancestors of today's Pit Bulls. Pit Bulls that were not used for fighting were considered ideal family pets—affectionate, loyal and gentle with children. Serious problems started when these dogs gained the attention of people looking for a macho dog—and to meet their demands, unscrupulous and uncaring breeders are producing puppies that were not only aggressive to other dogs, but also to people. (http://www.aspca.org/fight-animal-cruelty/dog-fighting/pit-bull-cruelty.aspx?gclid=CPvm0qHx4bECFQfCKgodDysAow) In a recent study of 122 dog breeds by the American Temperament Testing Society (ATTS), Pit Bulls achieved a passing rate of 83.9%. That's as good or better than Beagles ... 78.2%, and Golden Retrievers ... 83.2%. Study can be found here: http://atts.org/breed-statistics/statistics-page1/ Research shows that during the 7-year period from 2005 to 2011, pit bulls and rottweilers accounted for 74% of the total recorded fatal dog attacks. By compiling U.S. and Canadian press accounts between 1982 and 2011, a report by Animal People shows that pit bulls (215) and rottweilers (81) and their mixes accounted for 64% of the total recorded fatal attacks (466). (2011 U.S. Dog Bite Fatality Statistics - DogsBite.org, DogsBite.org, January 4, 2012. Dog attack deaths and maimings, U.S. & Canada, September 1982 to December 26, 2011, by Merritt Clifton, Animal People, December, 26, 2011) Cliffs: There is factual arguements for both sides, that mostly points to poor ownership choices and improper/lack of training of the dog.
  14. I've worked out at most of the Gyms in Columbus and for me convenience is the most important factor. If I didn't mind driving I would hands down work out at Lifetime on Sawmill I was there for over a year and loved it (in the off hours). No matter what gym you go to you're going to have douche bags and people with no gym etiquette I've learned to live with it. I'm currently at snap fitness in German Village for the sole reason its 2 blocks away from my house, but I'm to the point where I cant stand people not racking their weights or staring when you actually use real weight when lifting. I'll probably end up going to Metro or back to the YMCA Downtown.

  17. As others have said this is very broad and you are categorizing all republicans as pro-life anti-birth control. I am a staunch republican and firmly believe in birth control and pro-choice (in some cases rape, incest, etc.). This would be like saying Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum all believe the same thing therein-fore you would not need a republican primary. Mr. Romney would like to chime in on this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uieJ1i2sb4&feature=related
  18. No going to lie this is too soon saw this on another forum... Still I must say its a horrible tragedy and the kid deserves to be raped and killed.
