Its no different than an unshrouded hammer. I do have tough thumbs from years of shroom poppin though. Your results may vary.

638 is shrouded hammer. Gives you the option of cocking it and has a buttery hair trigger when cocked. Good smooth, predictable double action trigger otherwise. The hammer never gets snagged on the draw. Does get a little pocket lint in it occasionally, but goes bang no matter how dirty you get it. I have this and an LC9. I carry the Smith 90% of the time.

I'm very interested, but I have to fix the damage and figure out and fix my braking issue before I can spend any $ on performance. Not real interested in doing headers and exhaust since it has a factory stainless system that is in excellent condition, although I do love the sound of a small block running Flowmasters. I have a K&N, but haven't installed it yet. Never noticed much difference with the one I used to run in my Toyota.

Awesome, but while more power would definitely be nice, I need better mileage from that pig. Decent brakes would be a plus also. Got some bumper damage to repair due to the brake issue.

I have an Arai and agree with Rollo. Its loud as hell. I got one of those wind screens that fits on the bottom around your neck to try out this season. I hope it works because otherwise I love the helmet. Gump and I checked out the schuberth? at IMS and its nice, but expensive!
