  1. Cant believe you still have that .45. I have never seen another one.
  2. That doesnt sound very comfortable.
  3. That would be up to CMHSprint. We are rolling in his diesel Excursion and pulling my 7x12 trailer. We fit 4 bikes on it last year and might have had enough room for 1 more 600. Bikewise, it sounds like its just the 4 of us (CMHSprint, Marlboro Man, Gump and me) unless Carie wants to take her RR cuz I think Ben is riding down. Carie is riding down with us if she is going.
  4. How the hell do you bubbys conceal those bricks?
  5. Just relax and ride slow enough that you are comfortable. You dont need to set track records at the Gap. No one will be impressed anyway. Also, not all of the roads around there are as intense as the Dragon. It will be crowded anyway. I think I rode it once last year just to say I did. Go find vids of Cherhola Skyway and Rt. 28. Those are the good roads IMO.
  6. Did the PO give you the handbag that comes with it, or did he keep it? Congratz Brian. Have fun with it.
  7. This is like asking which oil is best. I have a S&W 638 (Shrouded hammer version of the .38+P Airweight, allows for single action shooting. Schweet!) and the Ruger LC9 (very nice 9mm, but trigger pull is a little long for my taste) I carry the Airweight about 90% of the time. Concealability is the name of the game and if it isnt comfortable to carry, it will sit in a drawer at home. Consider how you are gonna carry it also. That is key. I like to pocket carry. Its the easiest way to conceal. You cannot pocket carry a double stacker without major printage.
  8. May have to order those for the wife!
  9. If its $5 /gal. I have no issues pulling the guts out of your new Kangaroo!
  10. I noticed that this morning. I'm going to try to get down there this weekend. Gump - I spend all day on my feet, and they are fucked up. The right pair of boots makes all the difference in the world.
  11. I do keep it oiled, its the soles that are split....after a year. They can't be replaced on anything bit the vibram soled boots.
  12. Thanks for the info. Where do you find these? Are they internet only? I don't want to buy any boots I can't try on first.
  13. What is fowl language? Sounds like some sort of chicken fucker talk?
  14. I'd be more than happy to buy made in America Red Wings, if the ones I need were made in America. That's the problem, they decided to move most of their manufacturing off shore and the American made line does not include the boots with the features I need. It sucks, but I will not let my feet suffer so I can buy American. I will, however, shop around to see if I can find some american made boots that meet my criteria.
  15. I don't doubt that. My feet just can't take the abuse of walking around in loggers all day anymore. I see they have some vibram soled hikers. May give those a whirl.
  16. Vibram is just a solid, long wearing sole. I'm sick of shitty boot soles. If I pay $180 for a pair, the sole better last longer than the 6mo. To a year that I have been getting from these RedWings.
  17. Yes! Spnsorship for european ham-in-a-can is only $1000 down & $500/mo. Sign up today and get a free month!
  18. Sumbitch! I just tested that on my work boot thread. I always thought we could change them. That needs changed. The OP should definitely be able to correct his own thread title fuck up.
  19. Cuz they don't melt in fire and they outlast the boot instead of vice versa.
  20. That last one was bad ass! Which one was the $34 model?
  21. When I go to bed, I turn the computer monitor off. When my wife gets up in the morning, it is on with the pictures scrolling that only run for about 15 minutes of inactivity. I need to check the history.
