OK I've been to an Event (Dyno Day), Met some of you, and been posting my ass off so I should probably introduce my self.

My name is Shawn, I'm not a cop (cause I obviously have to tell you if I am) and I am bikeaholic. I have had many bikes over the years and I currently ride an '06 Vmax because I like to go fast and sport bikes are starting to hurt my old bones.(although I've had to do quite a bit of modding to make this old school beast comfortable) I love the naked/hooligan bikes and will probably move on to a Speed Triple, Monster or B-King in a couple of years. I also have a quad and so does my daughter, if anyone wants to go dirt riding with the kids, hit me up.

I like this site because you people say it how it is which is refreshing. Most forums I'm on expect you to talk like you are in front of 3 year olds. I've read some really funny stuff on here so far.

Nick- That 636 thing was hilarious....and true.

Check out the tire wear. If they are worn on one side or have an odd patern of wear,(front worn on the right, rear on the left) that indicates frame damage. Also check the engine case. I believe those had split cases and the gaskets are very expensive to replace if they are leaking.

How did the Vmax do on the dyno? I think I over heard some disappointment.I was disappointed with my can of tuna numbers!

SHITTY! The Max is running hella rich. Didn't even ride today because of it. Don't take your bike to a certain chrome shop on main st.

I am having it rejetted by an old drag racer near Commercial Point. Went to National Trail today and talked to some guys I know and they hooked me up with this guy. Great day to watch some test and tune BTW. Got me a nice sunburn. Anywho, it should be ready for the next dyno day, though I dont expect anything outrageous. It is more of a torque machine than a high HP bike. Should be around 130 HP and 90-100 ft-lbs TQ when running right, or so I've been told.
