  1. Sophomore year of high school I rode a bike to school all year - even when it snowed. It was an enduro though. Dirt tracked all the way to school and back in the snow and had fun doing it. But I was a broke assed kid then, too - and it beat walking.
  2. What was your name again?
  3. Might Vac's kinda don't suck enough. Might try installing some speed bleeder valves to help you. They keep air from getting in by using a small one way valve. They're cheap and work well. Here's a picture of one so you can see how it works: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.raceshopper.com/images/speed_bleeder2.gif&imgrefurl=http://www.raceshopper.com/speed_bleeders.shtml&usg=__hw35lbEY6mgNnnwMYcw1hHyJFi4=&h=320&w=460&sz=20&hl=en&start=1&sig2=O-gBZeESNaeJ3JvOwLWtdg&um=1&tbnid=cFDYmbMspIy-aM:&tbnh=89&tbnw=128&ei=tXY6ScqEF536NPX-nLoF&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dspeed%2Bbleeder%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26rls%3DHPIA,HPIA:2006-09,HPIA:en%26sa%3DN These will set you back around $12 each and are available through any bike shop via Tucker Rocky - Parts Unlimited, etc. If you have access to compressed air, get a bleeder like this one: http://www.sandhillspowersports.com/sandhills/OnlineStore.do?DSP=200&PCR=1:70000:70034&IID=sbs_bsbacc_06 Beats the shit out of a Mighty Vac and will bleed lines in about 2 minutes. I have this exact model and it works well. Snap-On and others make one just like it. They run about $200. Price on this webpage is obviously wrong - must be on sale for $175.00. When bleeding lines, the air is usually trapped at 90 degree bends - such as where the banjo bolts attach to the master cylinder. Mighty Vac often don't have the pressure to clear these areas. Tapping the 90 bends lightly with a screwdriver handle or some hard plastic will sometimes help jar the air bubble loose. Or use a power bleeder and be done with it ina minute. And if you're just changing fluid, don't drain the lines - just keep adding new fluid as you suck out the old and the fluid drained becomes clear. It's much harder to fill and bleed an empty line than it is to run fluid through it. You use a bit more fluid this way, but it is much easier. Good luck!
  4. And make sure the coolant you add is made for aluminum radiators.
  5. I run the same grips on my two Ducatis, my old BMW and all of my Hondas 2002 OEM Honda ST1100 grips They're thin and hard as can be. Almost like no grips at all. Dunno why I like them, but I do.
  6. Tell what OD and ID as well as length you want the tubes to be and I'll whip some up. Won't cost ya shit:D
  7. Ask the 95%+ of American blacks that voted for Obama
  8. I hope they kick that cunt to the curb, but you're probably right; she'll get in anyway.
  9. I travel to Columbus and Cincinnati for work every couple of weeks and can pick up and deliver stuff to Reuben for you if you wish as we live a couple of miles apart. Shipping forks is a pain in the butt sometimes.
  10. I had to help quite a bit, too. Without me, they would have no idea where to put the beer tents and port-o-lets. You can thank me later......
  11. I'd go a bit further from Columbus and get it done right: http://35motorsports.com/ Has been racing Gixers for longer than most Forum members have been alive and knows them better than most.
  12. Sweet! Finally a bike my Sport Classic can beat in a straight line drag race!
  13. These are in the order that I took them. We drove in, did a few laps in the car and then went around the track with the owner and track builder; Mr. Andy Vertrees, to review run off room, etc.
  14. Had 4 or 5 of these there. Sounds like the colors your dad has only flipped...
  15. Ya likes elevation changes, do ya?.... I'm not gonna post any more pics as the owner didn't want them posted. I sent all of mine to him so maybe he'll release some more later.
  16. Gotcha. There might be a chreaper alternative - I'll PM you about it.
  17. Just sent it. You wanna make a pit / display work table?
  18. I had a '70 Dart Swinger, too! Mine only had the slant six 225 motor. Blue with black vinyl top. Drove the shit outta that car for about 3 years (1975-78)
  19. There's a kick ass scrap place here in Indy. And I come to Cols area and then up I-71 at least once every two weeks. Let me know what ya want and I'll see if I can get it for cheap anbd drop it off to you.
