Aww shit. Sorry to hear about your car man. If you're serious about a badass Miata, I'd be more than willing to help out. We can put mine on the lift and check out what needs to be done subframe and powerplant frame wise. You helped me out last summer with my 7 and maybe now I'll get to return the favor.

Yeah, me and my buddy stumbled accross that site about 3 years ago. So sad.

I'm in the process setting up a megasquirt and spark in my RX-7. I've got the car running a bit, but still have to tune everything. Idle, timing, etc. I've still got alot to learn on the tuning aspect of MS.

Anyway, if you guys are serious about making this happen, call Fontana Village and tell the the dates, and they will give you a discount on the cabins and rooms. Fontana Village is the closest hotel to the Dragon. It is on HWY 28, and is directly between the actual dragon and the top of the Fontana Dam. If you guys need any help setting this up, let me know. I've had some experience in planning this event with rx7club.

I used to live about an hour and 30mins from the Dragon. Just moved up here at the end of may for school. I have an RX-7 and a Miata. Go figure.

I'd rather get behind one, than meet one taking up 4 lanes on a 2 lane road. I've had it happen twice.

Hey, I wanna start autocrossing my Miata. I don't have any autocross experience but I do have quite a few miles (400+) of the Tail of the Dragon under my belt. The way it looks right now, I should be able to make it to the July 9th @ OSU. My Miata is basically stock: cone filter, Falken ZE-512s. Is there anything special that I need to bring, or have with me? What's the dress requirement, helmet etc? Thanks, Jacob
