The other option that keeps the car is to swap to a different motor. If I were to go this route, the motor of choice would be a LS with a screaming 8K red line. I know a lot of LS people would say "Why?" I say "Because I want it to hit 8k." I think that would be a great match to the car. Vorschlag has been developing a LS swap kit for these cars that is very thorough. The end result is only a 100lb increase in weight, while improving the weight distribution at the same time. Unfortunately, the kit isn't finished. ..

How much does the LS weigh compared to the stock engine? Could change the handling dynamics that you love about the car

    UGHHH.......

  2. Go with John Deere... Craftsman is junk... trashes spindles and mounds constantly as well as goes through belts like no one's business (partially because of spindle issues) and I'd stay away from Huskivarna as well... I bought one of those from Lowes, had to replace it 3 times before saying screw it and getting my money back. I ended up then going with a Ferris which has been but it's some serious $$$

    Ughh I did

  3. Your Mom spoiled you with the riding mower huh? Looks cool, I guess since you drive that grandpa car you need some excitment in your life. I bet your car and mower have about the same power to weight ratio.

The JD probably out 30fts my car :lolguy:

Yes this is the excitement in my life and I am ok with it. OLD MAN STATUS!

I'm about to close on a house in Carroll with just under 2 acres. It's about half wooded, but the seller is including that same D105 model mower that he bought a year ago. It's the tiniest of the JDs so we'll see how it goes, but it's hard to beat free lol.

You definitely cant go wrong with free. and congrats on the house, posts some details when your done!

  4. Great lookin machine! Excited to get out there and mow some grass? :gabe:

Sadly yes, I love moving my lawn, but hate to push mow that crap. My grass grows quick enough where depending on the weather it might need mowed 2 or 3 times a week. I will happily do it now. Will have a drink with an umbrella in it, and headphones in with some spice girls on, you know JAMMIN!
