    stick with the lt1...my opinion i would never get rid of my m6 lt1 car for a 4cycl even if its turbo. But them bearings are not that bad to install.
    not to hard thats what happen to my last motor crank bearings ahh (factory defect that they wont replace bastards!)

     

    ...its a NEON and your TA looks really clean and you would have to rebuild the neon after you gave away your car that runs pretty damn good for a LT1
    20 bucks says my "neon" runs your lt1(gayy) down the quarter an aroudn an autox corse any day of the weak?

     

    c6antwon had 11.1 srt4 for not that much cash. he could have prolly gone much faster with more time.

    this i belive he hadd a gt35r.... these motors are good to 500,

     

    mine has 90k+ mile son it 60k has been racing... i hot lap the livign shit outta my car an it takes it ...

     

    reed it all comes down to what do you want out of your car? drag race it? if you plan on dragging it shit put your spray on the srt itll put over 400tq easily on a 75 shot

     

     

    shit my car puts down 337tq runs a best of 12.8 traps a best of 113 oh an ive only got 400$ worth of mods.....

    I like my MPG too. All 17ish of them, on a good day. But I bet my "full time four wheel drive" aka all wheel drive Jeep is WAY more comfortable. And faster. MPG be damned. I just like the paint a bit too much to take it off road, that's a few years away.

     

    Tomorrow I'm hooking up a trailer with two quads on it to drive 300+ miles into PA to go chill in the woods for a week. I can't wait.

    Probably gettin' drizzunk then Red White and Boom on Friday then gettin' drizzunk and blowin' shit up on Saturday with some friends.

    you+alky+fireworks= very weary about being aroudn but screw it game on!!!

     

     

    Yeah...she's sick of being cooped up too but it's a necessary evil right now. Even shopping wore her out the other day and that's damn near a miracle.

  21. Thinking of getting a Jeep

    So some things have come up and we are debating getting a used Jeep. It will be for the wife to drive daily but I will be driving it when we are both off work. Also we will be using it to haul building material for our house repairs. I think I have talked her out of wanting a wrangler because I think she will hate the comfort level of driving it daily. Plus with mikehaze's incidents with stolen body parts she is not wanting it. Skinner mentioned I should get a Cherokee.

     

    We are looking to spend $5000. Has to have working a/c and 4x4. Anyone have an idea of what we should be considering. Any issues or recalls I should know about on Cherokees? Do the rear seats fold down in the back? How much storage area does it have? Would it be possible to haul an 8 foot posts in the car without the trunk open?

    so im taking a vacation on august 7th back to California for my best friend's wedding. so any one have any side jobs maybe clean up shop or something temporary for the next month? I work 1230-9 m-f so anytime before or after I could be available.. just trying to get some extra cash for this trip. thank you for your time
