  1. I have one for my ducati S2R1000 in pdf format
  2. same set up over here. I have a Cisco 7940 and 7920 (old crappy wireless) sitting at my desk. Works very well.
  3. We've got a mix of Cisco and Nortel Voip here at OSUMC. It's solid. We also have an old PBX that runs most of the phones. It's also solid. The only reason I would say the PBX system is more solid is because the technology is super mature and very well understood by the people that run it and generally has the back up power in place already by law to support things like 911. If you have VOIP that has switches that are on Battery back up and generator supporting the phones and you have good people running the management it's just as good in terms of reliability, not to mention you get a very solid data network to go along side it, and the phones more to offer in terms of features, such as video phone and other interesting things. I like VOIP but that's because I think running a copper wires all over creation back to a central PBX is archaic. But this is coming from a guy that runs networks, of course I'm gonna like the solution that runs on my network. My network is cool. Lastly, since OSUMC is a hospital we already have battery back up in place in most cases and have generator power available as well so moving to VOIP isn't too painful. If you don't already have batter back up in your data switch closets and don't have generator available then getting your VOIP to be as reliable as your old school phones is gonna be expensive. LOL @ magic jack. Not sure what happened to HHgregg, sounds like somebody was either dumb or had to build something on less of a budget than they'd have liked and it bit them in the rear.
  4. Don't blame it on the VOIP, blame it on the people running it or the people that installed it. The technololgy is reliable and in most cases better if built out correctly with the proper back end infrastructure. IE, good switches, good wireless (if we are talking abouut wifi voip) and most importantly good power.... oh, and people who know how to run the callmanager. Many times, the money and or know how isn't there, in some cases cause VOIP is being handed to the old school phone techs to put in and they don't know a thing about modern networks aside from the physical cabling. That's just my two cents as a network engineer though.
  5. I have a legit XP pro install you can use all day. Send me a PM. Not sure what this XP black is.
  6. I had another CRT monitor laying around. I had to do it. 4 monitors 1 projector for 5 displays. I have problems.
  7. I just had to post a few of these photos (basically because everything about this bike is hilarious). The exhaust was coming off of the thing and I needed to work on getting a broken bolt out of the manifold. I hung the thing up and it was much easier to work on.
  8. I saw this as well. I'm hoping it doesn't turn out like earlier this season. I love watching Schumacher drive. I also love that he's a class act. I sure hope he doesn't go tiger woods on us too.
  9. haha you are totally right. Now $20-30 gets you a Chinese made flimsy case with a handle on the top a window on the side and florescent lights inside it. You can actually get a decent antec for $50ish. The case I got was just really well made and thought out and I'm a sucker for quality. Can you even get the beige standard box PCs anymore, even dells are kinda fancy looking compared to the old days.
  10. Haha, totally thread jacked. But at least it's getting bumped regularly. I thought about going with a 2nd GTX-260 to run in SLI also but they are still $200. My motherboard can support 3xSLI. But frankly, 1 GTX-260 is already more horsepower than I can use for now. I just got a $35 nvidia 8400 dual head for the 2 extra displays, and surprisingly yes, you can still get non-dual head cards, but they are usually low profile and usually have pins to add a ribbon style vga connector, so I guess they are still technically dual head. BTW, to those talking about antec cases. I totally agree, my last case was an antec as well. The P182 is the most solidly constructed case I've ever owned. It is very sturdy and very classy in style. I've had so many cases that were so poorly constructed, sharp edges and thin sheet metal that bends easily. You get what you pay for that is for sure.
  11. If you count the projector it is a 4 monitor set up right now. I've been running dual forever but recently moved the set up downstairs. Needed a new video card so I could connect to the projector, so I got a 2nd dual head card and hooked up 1 of the 21" CRTs I had laying around as well. Either way, hopefully I can keep this system as long as I did the last one. That was the idea anyway. I have a laptop and so does my fiance but I mostly use this machine. It's good for surfing and such, but also is nice when editing videos and photos, I like to play HL2 DM on it as well. Now it will be good for putting youtube on the projector
  12. It's clear it was bad assed when he built it. SLI 6800s and water cooling. That's serious shit, but like everyone else said, computers depreciate really fast. If I could buy a middle of the road PC today for even the same price let alone less I would becaused used computer hardware is a pain in the butt. No less, good luck with the sale. I'll now take this opportunity to whore pics of my current set up. LOL It's not water cooled but it has GTX-260 video card 8 gig DDR2 Ram Intel e8400 processor 3x 1TB drives in a RAID 5 (1.8TB) 1x 10kRPM 150GB drive (for OS) EVGA FTW edition nvidia 780i chipset motherboard 850 watt antec PSU Antec p182 case And some other stuff like blue LED fans. First system I've built since my AMD athlon 2600 PC with 266 FSB. I built it last year.
  13. Yah, not sure why people are hating on the rotary engine. Sure a V-8 is better in some applications but the rotary is cool for it's own reasons. Come on it's a triangle in a circle. Either way, from what I gathered from some googling, it goes around 150-155mph so if the guy is ballsy enough he could out run a police car as I believe they are done around 140. If he was smart he got off the highway shortly after the chase began after the cop was out of site. It being a small displacement engine that revs high, a highway pursuit would be this cars element too. All top end. Come on, all you 4 cylinder riding motorcycle guys should get this, the 600cc CBRs and Gixxers are the same way, slow in town and screamers on the highway. Of course all this is also assuming the RX8 is stock. I do believe the tuning possibilities for these rotary engines are pretty serious. I'll throw in a comparison too. My 2006 GTI is 200hp and it hits the electronically limited top end of 130mph (140mph indicated) with a decent amount of power left. The guys on the VW forum that have chipped their cars, giving them closer to 240-260hp are seeing indicated 155 no problem. This is a VW hatchback. I don't find it to be odd to think an RX8 can do 150.

    Helmet cams

The Gopro's are fairly inexpensive and I'm happy with their quality. they also just came out with an HD camera, but I haven't seen any footage yet. someone post some gopro HD footage.
  15. I was there and that thing sounded nasty
  16. haha, he called you fucknuts.
  17. So is someone gonna come get mine for $25. send me a PM or something. let's do this.
  18. I have plenty of bikes, but I like that one. Is that a 640cc single. My friend has one just like it but in bright green and stock exhaust. I bet you could convince him to buy your akro pipes.
  19. I like KTM. Me want but can't have.
  20. Just imagine, women who actually have to pay for sex. As apposed to women that can go to about any bar they want and get sex on any given night. Think about that. You'd get nothing but fat chicks, granny panties or whatever other physical attribute you don't want in a women. Why do you think male prostitution has never been popular compared to women as prostitutes, because almost all women can get laid if all they are looking to do is get laid. Men on the other hand, usually have to work at it a little more.
  21. I wrote this response to someone interested in it and wondering how hard they are to fix, thought I'd share it in case any of you had considered fixing one, I put some links in.
  22. dammit, you beat me too it. I was gonna say he should have given her a pearl necklace. No less, let's see some pics, or hear some specs on the designer of the jewelery, the spec of the diamonds and or the gold. No idea where you would want to sell it, call some jewelers I guess. I suppose you could always try ebay too.
  23. I haven't looked at this in a long time so not sure. I am guessing red ring of death but don't know. I have a power cable for my working xbox, I suppose we could plug it in and see.
  24. I was just throwing this one out there. I figured it wasn't apples to apples so you wouldn't take it as competition. It is what is, $25 for a broken old style xbox with no cables or HDD. It's more like a fun project than a christmas present for someone. In fact I think if you bought the one I have for someone they'd be pissed. On the other hand, if I had kids, giving them a broken xbox and saying you can play it if you can fix it sounds like a fun idea, I'll have to keep that one for one day when I'm a dad. I did however buy my HDMI working xbox360 with HDD awhile back on ebay for $160. Not sure what they are selling for during the holiday season though. I mostly just use mine to stream netflix but I've been fixin to get that new forza motorsports 3. I always liked forza 2. The one I fixed was a while back and it was my ex-girlfriends, The xbox and her are both gone and we don't talk anymore. As far as I know it still works though. Least it did when we broke up.
