  1. There's no beaver on Friday at my house either. Guess I am doing the laundry by hand tonight.
  2. Which is why you can never trust a woman retaining water. She's the lying equivalent of dividing by zero.
  3. Aahhh..I remember the daughter's birthday conversation now. Yeah, you can't miss those. Anniversaries..well, if she really loves you unconditionally, there will always be one next year.
  4. Damn... I was gonna say drop it off the next time you come up to see the folks. But fair play to the flat fish!
  5. I'll be there with Kev on Saturday for sure. Maybe the race school this time out?
  6. I won't trounce on the man's grave, as I have made my peace as a Browns fan years ago. When it came to the move, there was plenty of blame to go around. However, the lion's share of responsibility for that situation was Modell's, and there is a laundry list of poor business decisions to validate it. He had other options, and they would have paid him just as much - if not more - money in the end. Still, it happened, and revisionist history won't change anything nor will it heal the wounds for some. Sad, but true. And what is wrong with kitten bashing? Oh, and feel free to say what you will on Millen. You couldn't set out to fuck up a franchinse on purpose and do more damage than he did to the Lions.
  7. I like how the label on the chain whip box says "Professional". GLWS!
  8. With ya. Ready to get back out and twist the wick.
  9. Don't give him any other options, rookie! I want to see his azz out there the 22nd and 23rd. (It would be a good time for me to give back to him his safety wire drilling jig that I have had for over a year.)
  10. LOL, yeah. When I first saw it sticking out as it did, I thought is was a freaking outrigger.
  11. I think its awesome that you incorporated your life's passions into your passionate life. Congrats to you guys, and may you have many, many years of marital bliss. Those of us that have been married for years and years and years know that's a lot of work. But if you have more good days than bad, you're doing just fine.
  12. While I am probably another season from coming anywhere near the rest of the gang in terms of lap times, I was happy to chip away at mine from last Monday and run mid 20's. I think Jeff and I will be out there next time pushing each other a little more, which can only make both of us better. The first task this morning after my coffee kicked in was cleaning my helmet liner. It was Parliament Funkadelic in there. It is now drying nicely atop my fan in the garage and should be much nicer to slip my greasy melon into at PIRC in 3 weeks. Man..3 weeks until the next track day. That sucks.
  13. It was good to meet you, and hope to see you at more MS events again! I am exhausted! It is taking the last few pulses of energy in my chubby body to type this. So I will talk more tomorrow. But it was a great day with the OR/MS gang!
  14. If you guys make a li'l room for Kev and I, he will play pivot man in our circle jerk during lunch. And Marty, your bike is safely locked down with ours.
  15. Sorry to hear, U. Guess he was a young fella...27? Truly sad. Thoughts and prayers for you, the family, and friends.
  16. Right in a lot of our backyards. Sad to hear. RIP
  17. I'd agree on both the SSD and laptop thing. The days of paying for the convenience that a laptop brings is outdated given tablet and portable device technology. The only thing holding up SSD proliferation is their ability to build them without pricing themselves out of the market, IMHO.
  18. That is changing. Dell is already putting 2.5s in business class machines and server arrays. I see pros and cons to it, but I'd bet the 3.5" drive is going to go the way of floppy disks in the near future.
  19. I have the 003rs' on my 06 gixxer 600 and am rather impressed with them. I've ran them at MidOH and Nelson and am impressed with their grip. They usually are sufficiently warmed up in the first couple laps and give solid feedback. From a price perspective you can't go wrong. I have not run the Pures, but not heard anything bad about them. Craig right there can speak better as to their performance. If you are looking at the Pures and feel comfortable in that price range, you might check out the Pirelli Corsa Rosso. r1crusher runs them and raves about them, and I think they are in line with the cost of a set of Pures.
  20. No Canuck squidfest? Wonder if that will thin the crowd. I hope for Todd's sake there is a solid turnout of the ususal suspects.
  21. Anyone coming out Saturday have a set of spanner wrenches coming with them? I think I might need to unspring the back end a little bit and lack those proper tools.
  22. Looks like Saturday will be nice, Jeff. May be a packed house with the Canuck TV peeps there, but meh. I am getting stoked to go back, and ask Kev...I hated Nelsons after the first session.
  23. OR don't chek for teh splelings. Fuk dat.
