I miss the baby facing backward off the bike. Since I will always be behind Tod, watching those arms flail in life-like fashion was uniquely entertaining.

Thank you for wokring as hard as ya did today, Tod. I had a really good time, and my body is telling me it was a good thing that i left when I did. I'm honeymooner sore right now, but worth it. Thanks to Zach (I think) and the Coshocton crew for a great day, and it was nice to finally meet some of the knuckleheads on here I have been jabbing with for the past few years.

Just walked into the house. 285 miles for me toda was plenty. Hitting the shower then an ice cold brew.

Kevin will be happy then. No hairballs for him.

I saw that driving by the dealership the other day. Looked pretty clean from a distance.

Good points all around. My $.02, she's thinking too much and getting target fixated. She's looking at where she is afraid of or doesn't want to go, and is getting radar lock on the outside of the turn she's pulling into from a stop. Until she can get through the rudimentary permutations of riding and not thinking when she is out there, she's going to have these struggles. You know this, your Mrs. know this, and even she may, but until she's past that point, she's going to have a difficult time. Best of luck to her though. Glad to hear she's even interested.

The only time your dick comes close to looking like 35 lbs is when jbot is fisting you and using it as a sock puppet.

I have but one question for you. Have you gotten your wings yet? If so, we need JRMMiii to update Wikipedia. Glad to have you back!

I'm not the one with the 35 lbs shadow, Mr. Man.

Questions for you about the 4 Japanese Sport Bikes
RVTPilot replied to DTM Brian's topic in Daily Ride
I can see where you would have that opinion based on the latter, but I am not one for bashing a brand because of the clientel that chooses to buy them. True, Suzooks are the choice of most squids, but that doens't make it a bad bike. On Suzuki cars, when I worked for Enterprise many years ago, we had Grand Vitaras. POS. Constantly in the shop for tranny issues or leaking oil. Granted rental cars get beat to shit, but when compared to all the other rentals we had, they by far were one of the ones least capable of taking the abuse. Wouldn't hit a dog in the ass with one. -
Welcome. RC51s suck. They are loud, heavy, and have aging technology. Which is why I have one. Love it like a fat kid loves cake.

Questions for you about the 4 Japanese Sport Bikes
RVTPilot replied to DTM Brian's topic in Daily Ride
That is the "what wins on Sunday sells on Monday" aspect of bike sales coming to fruition. That the only thing keeping some squid from being the next Kevin Schwantz or Mat Mladin is riding the same machine they did. I liked Hondas before I bought mine, thought they had the most fit and finish (as previously stated by another poster), and made just a solid all-around machine. For the same reasons, I wasn't a fan of Kawis for a long time. They made remarkable engines, but put them in heavy, poorly constructed frames. Poor looking welds and a slapped together look on many of their bikes turned me away from them. Though I feel in recent years they have gotten much better and on par with their Japanese counterparts. Now I am just not a fan of their styling. But they make some bikes that perform really well. Always had a soft spot in my heart for Yamaha since my first sportbike was an FZR, but until the R1 & R6 came out, they always seemed to be reactive in their R&D rather than proactive. At least when I started buying bikes. Suzook was always a distant 4th for me until they completely redid the GSXR line in '96. By the summer of '97 I was on a brand new Gixxer 750, and that is still one of my favorite bikes. For whatever reason, it fit me like a glove, and I had complete faith and confidence in that thing wherever I rode. Today, I'd have to give Suzuki the slightest edge over Honda in the liter class. And I think its fair to say that the margin of difference from one manufacturer to the next, or even the fourth overall is minimal. From top to bottom, I'd have to go Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki. And of all of the Kawi's the ZX-10 is my favorite. With 600s, its a crap shoot. You can make a solid case for any of them. My personal favorite is the R6, having been on a couple and been so uniquely impressed with how nimble it was. Like riding a scalpel. The CBR is a fun bike, but seems to be getting lost in the conversation sometimes, though I think that has a lot to do with the lack of Honda's racing effort here in the US, which does have a trickle down effect to the street. Still a wicked right bike though. The Gixxer once again is hard to argue against, and just does it all well. I appreciate the work Kawi has put into the 636, but having not thrown a leg over one, I have it fourth on my list only from lack of knowledge with it. (Maybe sometime on a ride Cleave and I can swap up so I can edumicate myself on that sled.) So for sixes, I would say Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Kawi. -
Nope. That's fucking Vietnamese. And lean, too!

Reminds me of the lady that ran the apartment complex I lived in while in SC.

Meeshigan sucks, Ohio sucks, West Virginia sucks, Buell's suck, everything sucks. JRMMiii, you do have a dog in this fight because you have a 'Busa, and they suck. And since you lived in Flint and didn't kill anyone while there for 4 freaking years (Lord knows you had ample opportunity) you suck. I suck. Everything sucks. (Sorry to be redundant there.) GLWS, Udell. You suck for selling that Milwaukee hotness.

Here is a pic is of the fail boat stopping by this thread. Since it is already full of fail, it has sailed onto the next port to unload, since there was no room here. Looks very simialr to the cow eating grass pictures of my youth.

That would make two in the last year, counting the ex.

While I am sure he would in theory, not sure he has had an opportunity for practical app of said theory.

She is renting a house that, get this, allows dogs but not cats. So she got the dog and I got the cat.
-
Yeah, I was thinking about this when I got up. I forgot all this stuff. He is fixed and declawed, so he will be an indoor cat. Very much litterbox trained and likes to kill and eat large house spiders when he finds them. Came into a home with our dog (which went with the ex) but they got along find and played together. Never had any fights between them. Never been with another cat, so I cannot tell you how that would go. (I have also edited the original post with this info.) I don't have any pics of him really, but will take one tonight and post it up. I appreciate the link to that shelter. I certainly don't want to see him put down and would like for him to find a good home.
-
I have to drop the kids off at the sitter, but if they are up early enough for me to jaunt back home and grab the scoot, I am in. Though, I ride to work a lot.
-
Okay, here's the deal. In my split I with the ex, I ended up with the cat. Don't ask, its a long story. Anyway I am not particularly a cat person, but I don't hate them like some do. And I got the cat at the kids request. Well, as he has gotten older, he plays rough with them to the point of attacking them. He's not being mean, but my youngest is so small and doesn't understand and tonight he nipped her and it scared her. So its time for him to go. So if there is anyone out there who is a cat lover, doesn't have little kids but wants some company, he is all yours. I am gonna give it a week here, and if not, he's going to a shelter. (Or at least half way to one. I keeed, I keeed!) But I won't have my little girl afraid of a household pet, and I hate litter boxes. Since the ex isn't here to tell me I can't, I'm getting rid of him. But if I can match him up with someone who would love him, he'd return the favor. He is a bit mischevious, but WTF....he's a cat. When they are gone, he's affectionate with me, lying with me on the couch when I watch tv. So he has some endearing qualities. But he's worn out his welcome here. So if you are interested or know someone who would want a 2 year old cat, PM me. I have visions of a couple with no kids, or a grandma looking for some quiet company around the house. He's not very vocal, but like to gallop about the home. Like I said, not a bad cat, but just not a fit here.
