  1. I would like to hear from the guys that Tig weld and what type of welder they would recommend. I'm looking to buy one in the up coming months but have never Tig welded. I'm Mig welder quite a bit working in a shop but would like to learn how to Tig to do my own exhaust and mounting brackets. What should I look for when buying a Tig welder.
  2. Yeah, i dont know how i missed that since i have looked at this so many times.
  3. Do we know if this is a 9 or a 40? I asked but never saw it clarified.
  4. While I lowered the rear axle. I also found that the fill plug on the Moser M9 was rubbing on the gas tank. I went ahead and took the Eibach Pro springs off of the rear until I find a good solution. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7140/7553599160_22d65959f7.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8282/7553599204_5e5727887c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8006/7553599162_8a13f0b534.jpg
  5. Since the fenders started rubbing I rented a fender roller. Before rolling... http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8288/7553599178_08ea0c9a32.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8141/7553599150_5affb39e88.jpg After rolling... http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8142/7553599128_736b75cc33.jpg
  6. Always seems to be 1 step forward 2 steps back. PS headlight stopped working and the tires started rubbing badly on the rear.
  7. Correct. I forgot about the "inspection" they simply walked out and compared the VIN's. I would second just taking an Ohio plate and using it because you have 30 days I believe to change a tag over.
  8. Yeah I'm not a fan of the blue (leather, I like the car color) or the auto but always liked these and almost bought one.
  9. I saw 147MPH after I got done reading a bunch of other stuff to pass the time.
  10. PA tags are fine in Ohio, then just get the plates when you get back. I actually got pulled over in Pickerington because my PA tags fell off after a car wash and they told me just to go home and don't drive it until I get the tags.
  11. LOL, I made one out of dryer duck when I was in high school.
  12. I bought the Solstice in PA back in December and got 30 tags from the dealer. They gave me a notarized copy of the title so that I could go get tags and pay taxes in Ohio then they mailed the title to the Credit Union.
  13. Yeah, i didn't think you recognised me.
  14. After your comments about how many manifolds I have? I have plans for the truck manifolds but if you get around to needing them I'm sure we'll work something out. In the mean time help me find a decent tig welder so I can start building the cross over pipes.
  15. You'll get bored to quickly... Most likely tomorrow.
  16. Just came across their video on how to dip your entire car so I figured I'd post it.
  17. 9mm right? or did the also come in a .40?
  18. I just picked it up and youtube it. Seems simple enough.
  19. Yeah, a little more notice and I would have been in but already had plans.
  20. Thanks again Aaron, I'm going to pick it up tonight. Any tips on rolling fenders since I've never done it? I imagine you need to heat the paint so that it doesn't crack but is there any other tips?
  21. Thinking about signing the Trans Am up since the Solstice doesn't have a hardtop or roll bar.
  22. Welcome to CR. As a Lambo fan I'm a fan.
