  1. Yup that was a good episode of TG with Hamilton.

I don't really have a favorite but I like Button's chances this year. The racing and TV production (on SkySports/BBC) is always so good though, that I really don't care who wins.

  2. Searched Google could not specifically find torque for 2012 or 2013 model. Found a few random sites that had older models but wanted to be sure.

@natedogg Not sure what manual that is but it appears its not the one I have. mine skips from 5-3 to 6-1 :/

    @ Isaac ..... Thanks!

That was from the 2008 model service manual which has the same frame and engine as the newer bikes.

  3. The jump at Grattan separates the men from the boys. You can get two wheels off the ground at the jump going CW but you're running low 20's to near lap record pace. Most of the time it's just a little wheelie or rear end chirp depending on your brake marker into the next corner. N and I pace are not fast enough to have any wheels leaving the ground going CW.

CCW is a different story, that would be a mini Cadwell park (you got the reference right). Coming hard out of the esses you can get get both wheels off the ground, though most of the time it's just a monster wheelie. Good for trackday pics, pain in the butt for racing. Usually end up shifting my bodyweight forward, hovering the rear brake, and/or short shifting to keep forward momentum.

Mid Ohio is cool, but if you want a real challenge, come to Grattan. With all the elevation changes and off-camber turns, you're basically in control of your own roller coaster. You'll know what I'm talking about the first time you dip in to T3.

  4. Found an old video from 9/29 that I passed over. This is the one on the tail section of my "grattan wobble" -

Nothing special, although I can definitely tell I need to work on right turn body positioning and more efficient butt movement. ie moving from right to middle to left, when I can go right to left with my seating

For reference, here's the other view -

  5. It's the exact same chassis that Yamaha WSBK uses.

The frame structure is the same as what you'd find on a showroom R1, however it is heavily braced as you stated. Even down to the braced swingarm and tunable cross members on the frame. You can see the same frame and bracing used in our R1 build. It's no secret.

I don't believe Graves is getting overlooked in tech, they just have the money to build and test it the absolute limit of the rules. Just my opinion from what I've heard.
