  1. he's got the honda undertail exhaust. its probably the hardest of the easy slip on installs. meaning, its still easy, just more complicated than your average slip on installation.
  2. be sure to call paul (attackpainter) for your paint quote before you get it done...
  3. i never had a problem with my maps updating or loading on my drive from ohio to florida. of course it was a little rough in the mountains but thatll happen with any phone. at/t is also expanding there 3g network or increasing their capabilities to match or exceed the current verizon 3g. i would be willing to bet that if iphone had gone with verizon we'd be having these same talks about 3g networks sucking except flipped around...
  4. where the fuck is the macbook pro refresh or teh iphone 4.0... man talk about apple blue balls.
  5. false, just announced 3g support.
  6. i just wanna see what the iphone 4.0 update will be and the macbook pro refreshes... enough the with itab
  7. good marketing effort. they can make the compound on that tire really shitty (unlikely with the rep metz has), and yet people will still buy them simply because of this little built in ruler...
  8. i personally think we should fix our own damn problems first, its been ~4 years and new orleans is still a mess.
  9. we'rn this here place call'd 'merica brian! youse ain' gon use that euro gypsie language in here. (--southern redneck voice) looks cool, bump
  10. what? dude i totally didn't read your post, i was just jotting down some thought w/o reading anything prior.
  11. im going to go out on a limb here and say that most riders say their brakes "feel" better after a ss line install. but did you ever consider that in order to install ss lines, you are draining out the old crappy broken down fluid and putting/bleeding in new fresh brake fluid
  12. did you miss this entire thread bud? what people like for stopping -- galfer hh/ebc hh/ or if you're a real trooper vesrah rjl's
  13. in this order: better pads will give you the best "noticeable" response. new fluid for harder/longer runs (trackdays - im not talking highway newbs) and lines for when they need replacement, its cheaper in the long run to get ss lines that last whereas oem rubber needs to be changed every x amount of years.
  14. i use wikipedia for all my research papers.
  15. yes. i will say this though. IMO i believe fade to directly related to the fluid, not the line. i think zach has already mentioned this before, but with properly maintained fluid (new/fresh bleed) it should perform the same as having the fluid in a ss line. age of rubber vs ss lines being the same. the reason i had such bad fade at the end was because of the rubber lines being old. however, someone with new rubber lines may have a counter to me.
  16. rubber: 5 years, SS: 4 months. it was for sure time for them to go.
  17. actually yes, i prepare my bikes the same way for all trackdays. with respect to our topic: same fresh/new motul 5.1 fluid and vesrah rjl's before the trackday. bled/changed before in preparation for the trackday and not ridden again until at the track.
  18. its the bling factor dude, bling gets the ladies (or dudes if you're into that). on a serious note: i never got SS lines for performance gains, when i bought mine most of the research was towards the life of the line. OEM rubber needs to be replaced x amount of years, whereas SS lines last much much longer (pays for itself in this aspect). also from before with rubber lines at the track, and after with SS lines at the same track, there was a much noticeable difference in feel of braking mostly towards the end of the day when the fluid/lines had been abused via heat. oem had serious fade, ss lines felt as solid as they did in the morning.
