  1. ITs an audit from the intial sounds of it....If so...GO ahead and chuck it and see what happens. Get back to us with that.
  2. I think the video is Heavily biasd....Especially then saying "all the Cruising bikes were following the laws" Right....Because they dont go out and act up. And to whover aid something about the bar-hopping...exactly.
  3. I only read the first couple of posts..but Here is what this is. ALmost every motorcycle sale done on a private individual basis gets these now. You should never put "$0" on a title as its an automoatic trigger for these audit papers. You and the seller will receive them and HAVE TO FILL THEM OUT, other wise they consider you to be committing a fraud against the state and you will get hit with taxs, penalties, and interest. The state has tightened up a lot in the last two years on this and as long as you and the seller put the same things down, you will be golden. If I was you I would state you traded something and and make the value of the trade $500 or so. Make sure th seller does the same. SInce you guys put zero, there had to be something exchanging hands. I know their is a section on there for trades, so use it and eat the $$Tax money on the value at $500 and be glad they dont get you for more. From now on, always use a monetary value, it sucks having to pay tax, but it saves you a lot of headache down te road. I almost always use the same pricing on a newer bike and include it in the price I pay for it, as I buy and sell a lot of bikes, so Iknow how to do it. Also , always make sure you and the buyer know what was put on the title for price and make them write it down somewhere for the audit that will likely come 6 months down the road after you have long forgotten about the transaction. Just my advice...I have had about a Dozen of these things and all have worked out well...but I knew the system when I made my purchases which helped tremndously as well. Good luck.
  4. I only read the First page and all I can say is Glad you are Ok....Looks like it could have been much worse...and the bike can be replaced. Good luck and heal up fast.

  14. 98 Honda CBR F3 Smokin' Joe's Edition Year, Make and Model of Car 1998 Honda CBR F3 Mileage? Unknown at this moment I need to look at the gauges Price $1750/$1600 What is your name Kyle Katzenbach What is your Email Address kmkatzenbach at sbcglobal dot net What is your Phone number/AIM Screenname 937.3six1.4zero11 What is your City Dayton What is your State Ohio What is your Zip code? 45410 Ok...Bike is a Salvage First off. Its buddies Bike, he needed some cash so I bought it from him. He layed this over on an on ramp about two years ago and just never got around to getting it fixed. He's kind of lazy, never got another bike, and I truly think the little incident scared him away from riding, so its pretty much sat since with little work done on it. He did Have Full coverage, got paid out on the bike, and was quoted $4g's to fix it from a Dealer ( lol'd a little...damn dealers are crazy). The bike really needs very little and is totally ridable and Inspectable for OHP as it sits. The two prices are simple....The higher price is if I take the time to go have this inspected at the nearest OHP Inspection center and pay the fees for the New "Rebulit Salvage" title. The lower price is if you would like to do it yourself which would save you roughly $100 in the end but its worth it to me not to mess with having to take time off work to go get this inspected. The inspection is $50 and then you would need to retitle at a cost I think af about $12 depending on your county. The bike Needs the FOllowing: Upper Left light Fairing (pretty busted but still mountable) Left Vent Cover (totally missing) Left Fairing maybe( unless you dont mind the scratches) Carbs leak upon startup....I assume a bowl gasket is leaking, but the bike runs fine and doesn't leak unless you let it sit for prolonged periods of time. All of these parts can be had on Ebay for various pricing. He already replaced the upper Stay which was bent ($200) before I bought it. Its a Solid Bike still and has some other cosmetic marks, but nothing worth noting on a salvage bike or one priced as such. This is the perfect bike for a starter or a DIY guy. If I start fixing it, I won't stop until I get it done and then I will ask market value for such a bike which will likely be about $23-2500. Save yourself some green and just buy it beforehand. Pics as soon as I get it home. Feel free to text or call me with any questions on it. Price With Salvage Title and needing Inspection $1600 Price after I get an Inspection and a Rebuilt Salvaged Title (ready to tag for street) $1750 Heres a Pic of the Good Side First and the Bad Side second, Taken Today...I still Havent picked it up yet. Notice the missing engine Cover Fairing on the left side and the cracked upper section...Other than that this bike is solid. Will have it home tomorrow.
  15. Motomummy is High...and so is to be fast. Anywhere else peeps. And I am not doing price matching. If a busines wants me to work to spend money with them...they got another thing coming...and it isn't my green. Price it right to begin with...or lose the sale.
