I'm very interest to hear how this works out for you once you get some dyno numbers. I'm planning on doing some stack/subthrottle plate modding on my bike next weekend, but it's all very shot in the dark type stuff. My reasoning is; if it would give performance gains across the board, wouldn't those crazy Japanese engineers who design bikes for a living have thought of it before us? I assume there has to be some trade-off, but it's hard to tell without numbers.

Ironhorse of the Whiskey Priests MC Not bad. But I think cdubyah and I are going to have to duke it out with ball-peen hammers or something for name rights.

New "lamest bike ever"? Bike "just for woman" unveiled.

Wow, I feel like Fonzie, look what I started with this thread This is the first time I even checked any replies; I'm sort of scared to check pages 1-5 haha. -
Sitting in my room studying my ass off for an Accounting final on Monday, a Psych (LOL what a joke) final on tuesday, and a Business Management final on Wednesday. My sleep schedule is so messed up right now. I just took a NAP from 9 to 11 PM lol.

So I've been meaning to buy some leathers before this riding season starts to replace my over sized textile jacket and blue jeans, and I finally made it out to Iron Pony today. Instead of coming home with some shiny new threads, I came home with an even more profound sense of not knowing what the hell I want. I've more or less narrowed it down to these two jacket/pant combos: Fieldsheer Razor Jacket with Fieldsheer Sport Pants Pros: -Higher quality armor than the JR stuff, and it includes the CE spine protector -Jacket is perforated in some areas but not fully perforated; a nice happy medium between the two -Pants have height-adjustable knee armor -Jacket has removable full liner Cons: -More expensive than JR suit -The jacket has those stupid white accents on the front and back or Joe Rocket Blaster 4.0 Leather Jacket with Joe Rocket Blaster 2.0 Leather Pants (all the JR stuff comes in perforated or non-perforated flavors. More on that later) Pros: -Cheaper than Fieldsheer suit by about 100$ or more (depending on where it's bought) -Pants have a better fastening system (buckle vs snaps) Cons: -Armor doesn't appear to be as high-quality as the Fieldsheer stuff -Basic 'back pad' instead of a CE-approved back protector, and the JR CE-approved spine protector is 81$ So yeah; there's some give-and-take between the two. The Fieldsheer suit is more expensive and I'm not totally in love with the looks because of the white accents (if anyone can dye those white accents black, we need to talk ). But, it does seem to have higher-quality armor and it comes with a CE-approved spine protector as opposed to the Joe Rocket suit's basic back pad. I'm leaning a bit towards the Rocket suit at the moment; it's cheaper and even though the armor might not be quite up to the Fieldsheer standards, I could always buy the GP-style armor upgrades and still be saving money over the Fieldsheer suit (unless I went all out and bought the CE back protector as well; then the JR is a bit more expensive than the FS). However, I have no experience with either brand or leathers in general and I think I should ask some more experienced folks before I make a major purchase like this. What suit should I buy? Also, should I consider getting the perforated or solid Joe Rocket suit if I decide to go with the JR stuff? Does it get hot enough here in Ohio to warrant perforated leathers? I much prefer the look of a solid leather jacket/pant to a perforated one, but I also don't want to cook inside my suit on a ride. I suppose one solution would be to get a solid jacket and perforated pants. I'm mostly worried about the pants getting too hot; the jacket has vents in both perf and solid form, while the pants have no ventilation at all. I really only plan on wearing the pants when I go riding the twisties etc and not when I'm just puttering around town and running errands, so I'm not really worried about how they look given their main use. However, I have never worn perforated leathers (or any leathers for that matter) before, so I don't know if a solid suit would work well enough for our climate, or if I should opt for the perf stuff. Again, any suggestions in this area would be more than welcome. Thanks for reading, I know that got a little long-winded. Can't wait to finally finish my riding suit Along with the jacket/pants, it'll consist of HJC FL-15 Solid Black helmet w/dark smoke visor, Sidi Vertigo boots (black), and Icon Merc gauntlet-style gloves (black)

I had the entire Back to Basics and The Final Ride videos downloaded, as well as the entire Uppsala run. Think I deleted them though He is really entertaining to watch. Every now and again I'll daydream of doing something like that. If I ever find out I have terminal cancer or something...stay off the roads -
I think I have the demo but I've yet to play it. My gaming spending has been frozen for a long time; been saving up for bike goodies. I wanna grab Killzone 2 and Resistance 2, but there are many many things on my list above console games right now. PC gaming has kept my attention well enough for the time being

My PSN tag is the same as my name here, Harb67. Though I don't have any of those games, and I rarely if ever play games online on the PS3 Hell, I barely even play the thing. It's more of a media center for me, at least for the time being

I think the confusion arose from your minor typo in the link. The fail is actually on the part of anyone who thinks it was actually a broken link Just delete the "..right" at the end of it and all is well.

People, please, don't be retarded. The link to watch the video itself should be a warning flag; people know their friends and how they typically operate. If I got a Facebook message from someone who very rarely sends messages, especially one directing me to an off-website video (Facebook can embed youtube videos, so it should just play in the page without having to go to youtube itself), I would be very suspicious. I would inspect the link closely; it most assuredly wouldn't be an actually http://www.youtube.com/ page, which would immediately tell me to get the hell off of the site. However, if that does manage to slip by, the fake "flash update" should be a MAJOR red flag. Always look at things closely before clicking "nextnextnextnextoknextnextiacceptnextnext". Also, if anyone that reads this and did get infected by the worm, I'm sorry it happened to you. Just to make you feel better, I've got a rich uncle in Nigeria who has a ton of money in escrow that we need some help transferring to the States; we just need someone not related to us to accept the money into their bank account. You can keep 40% of the 80 million dollars, just send me your bank account details and we'll take care of the rest!
