I'd definitely get full coverage boots. Honestly, you can wear full coverage boots with jeans and still not look like a tool out in public; I can slip my jeans right over my Sidi's and they look just fine. While we're on the topic of boots, is there any certain type of sock that is particularly comfortable under full riding boots? I bought some Sidi Vertigo's over the winter and love them, but it's pretty obvious that they're going to be fairly unpleasant to wear unless I find a good sock to wear with em; nothing I have in my normal wardrobe is going to cut it.

I highly doubt they really sat down at a table and went "Alright guys, we've gotta convert more people to our cause, how's an ad on the side of a bus sound?" I think it's much more probable that the ad is more of an image-builder than anything. To me, the ad basically says "Why worry about a higher power, just be happy anyway". I think many people view atheists as angry, baby-eating, evil people. This ad puts them in a more positive light by saying that atheists are just like anyone else...all they want to do is enjoy their lives. Also, this is a bit off-topic, but am I the only one who seems to notice more pissed off, unhappy Christians ranting about their beliefs than pissed off, unhappy atheists/agnostics ranting about theirs? Christians need to lighten the hell up. (no pun intended)

I watched a bit of it, and it was exactly what I expected; a lot of nothing was said. But I don't fault him for that. It's not like the President can come out and unveil surprises left and right like it's Macworld or something. At best, he can recap and sum-up all the stuff we already know about. My biggest gripe was his sugar-coating of the stimulus package. He needs to be really tough with that thing, but it probably won't happen.
