Yeah I wish the same thing. I can always make time for a drink, get a hold of me and we'll make it happen.

Todd I'll measure it after work and let you know. Ben, I'm moving back to Akron. I'm not from Cleveland

Sure. Your inbox is full. Send me a PM with your number and we can set something up. -
Like the topic says, I have a pair of Sidi B2's size 11 and a pair of Shift Volt 3/4 gloves size 11 (XL) for sale. Both were worn for about 2.5 riding seasons and have normal wear from regular use which can be seen in the pics. Sold my bike last year and forgot I still had these. Price: $40 for boots, $20 for gloves. $50 for both. I can meet around Cbus or I can ship them if you want to pay for it. PM me if interested.

AT&T picks Cleveland over Columbus for new high speed internet?

I moved from NE Ohio to Cbus three years ago and I can honestly say I that I like NEO a lot more. There's way less traffic up north, and just as much to do. Aside from OSU games, there's not much you can do in Cbus that you can't do in NEO. Plus Cleveland has 3 professional sports teams and Cbus has none - sorry hockey and soccer don't count I won't argue the population figures and economic figures cuz numbers don't lie and Cbus is faring better than Cleveland, but from a livability standpoint, NEO has a lot going for it, which is why I'm moving back. This is all just my opinion and doesn't really mean much but just thought I'd throw it out there since I've lived in both places. -
Both valid points. But if there is something I can do to reduce my chances of being wrongly convicted, even if it only reduces them by .000001%, I'm going to do it. I happens to be my personal opinion that not carrying this ammo is one of those things.

I agree that you would be within your rights to carry this round and use it if necessary. However, I'm not going to take my chances when members of the jury and/or the prosecutor may be anti-gun.

Hah! I read that article and saw the twitter handle and somehow I knew it was you. Such a raycess -
You'll get plenty of penetration knowledge next time I see you. And I'll go check out the page.
-
The 2 posts I quote below more or less explain my thoughts. I can't put a specific number on how many inches of penetration is too many as it would depend on the target. But based on what the RIP round does to the gel in the video, I wouldn't want to carry it - too much risk of one of the fragments hitting something I don't want it to. As far the specific round having anything to do with the justification for self defense, I agree that it should not. However when facing a jury of my peers who may be uninformed when it comes to firearms, ammunition and self defense, I'd rather not leave anything to chance.
-
Exactly my point:No legit tests with them. Everything I've seen about them has been hype from the manufacturer about how much kinetic energy they deliver. Too much kinetic energy = too much penetration. Add that to the fact that they split up into multiple projectiles which further decreases your ability to control where they go. Overpenetration and a lack of control aren't things I look for in a self defense round. But hey they do a good job with marketing. All those derps who carry FMJs will now start carrying these.
-
If you have to shoot someone and that is what you're carrying, good luck convincing a jury that you're a responsible gun owner.

That patch was a joke and fixed almost nothing. The most annoying thing to me is the rubberbanding which makes a few maps completely unplayable.

Luckily I haven't had that happen yet

Bringing this thread back from the dead. Who has a ps4 and what is your PSN ID? I picked one up a few weeks ago. Only game I have at this point is Battlefield. My PSN ID is the same as it is here: CleaveTheGreat
